so I went ahead and ordered both the cover AND the classic watch band. I have to say it is excellent!! It was fairly easy to adjust the links to fit my wrist. I am amazed at how light the band is. It is much lighter than it looks. I would say it is at least as light, if not lighter than the strand sport strap that came with my watch. I have had metal bands in the past - this thing is FAR lighter than those. I have a Pitaka case on my IPad Pro and it has held up amazing well - zero screatches despite having it for the past 7-8. Months and carrying it around all over..so I am expecting the watch band and watch cover to wear the same way. It is not cheap at about $120-130 for the whole setup - but it gives the watch a very upscale and classy look. The carbon fiber gives it a sporty look…but it is fashionable at hte same time.

About a month later they messaged me back on Twitter to tell me it was going to be up for sale in a few days. Haven’t taken it of my watch since I got it
That's sleek. Fits seemlessly onto the edges of the Watch, but I feel like you gotta be down for that textured pattern. Super dope Pitaka! I'm personally a fan of the Spigen matte black case, and since I rock the 41mm Watch, it adds the perfect amount of edge guards to the profile. I agree that a lot of these cases just make the Watch look so much bigger, but if you got big wrists for a 45mm then maybe it's not so bad. Otherwise this Pitaka is perfect for people on the 45mm 👍
I used to rock cases on my aluminum versions but not since I had the stainless 4 and now 7. They have several nice ones out there. Rhinoshield makes a nice one.
I loved my Pitaka Air case on my series 5 aluminum I feel like dirt gets in between the case and the watch and scratched it. I just got a stainless series 7 and I’m worried about scratching the frame. Do you notice any micro scratches on the watch?
Doesn't it wear off the coating on the Apple Watch? I've been using similar style case from Spigen on my Apple Watch 4 and it damaged it's coating over time. I removed it regularly to clean anything that could get between the case and the Apple Watch but it damaged it anyway....As I looked on reddit and some forums people had the same problems with snap-on cases like that.

The only issue I can see with that case is that the button on the side which you hit to swap apps is recessed in quite a bit you’re gonna have to stick your finger into the hole to push it instead of the other inexpensive clip on cases that are simply made from plastic that have integrated buttons. I’ve got a really cheap case I got on Amazon for about eight dollars it’s the exact same size as that Pataakha case you can get it in any color you want it protects just as well but that button on the side is integrated into the case and makes it much easier to depress

I sure wish this thing wrapped around behind the strap. I would love to get this but I don’t trust it to not get knocked off. Currently running the Rhinoshield bumper case but would love a lower profile one like this.
Guys DO NOT ORDER the Apple Watch Case! The case literally scratches the underside of the side button and crown every time you take it off. The damage it made from taking it off once did more damage than it could ever have protected. Horrible. I suggest getting something else.

The fit is SNUG.. if it pops off, you’ve probably damaged your watch as well…
