They have recently changed the case design. The left side of the case covers the opening for the band lugs and will get in the way. I have contacted them and their response is that Nomad bands are non-standard and do not go well with their case.
ouh that's not good. I guess they're looking to strengthen the design and fit of the Air Case since there were complaints about the case coming off easily.
@@TheCaseTheory yes it seems to be a secure fit. But that left side where the opening of the lug is needs about 1mm shaved off it I think? It currently is pushing against that 90 degree corner of the metal band lug. Just a note to you and others that is thinking of buying it to use with Nomad bands to purchase at your own risk.
Hi Case theory! Can you help you me find the thinnest case for apple watch? Which will be compatible for 40mm series 5. Been looking for some time and I cant find a really slim case. This PITAKA is by far what I have in mind. I will really appreciate your help.
Hey Nash! If you're looking for thin cases for the Apple Watch, that's not much choices. The Pitaka Air Case is by far the thinnest we've come across. But, if you're not looking for a case, you may want to check out Slickwrap's skin for the Apple Watch. They have lots of design even for the 40mm series 5.
Oh okay. I can also consider skins! Your recommendation really helps! Because I have no idea where to find or what brand has a skin for apple watch. Thanks a lot!
I've been using the whitestone dome screen protector. however you should consider using screen protector that only covers the flat screen and not the curved edges.
What kind of screen protector should I use with this case? Thanks
The Whitestone dome fits perfectly with this case
Wow that's great! Never had any screen protector for Apple Watch before but we should definitely get one!
mine is scratching the watch. Although look is good.

@@TheCaseTheory So the Whitestone dome screen protector will work fine with this case?
Is it blue or is that just the angle?
it's just the angle :D
Nice review! Does the case protect the screen by sticking out above it a bit?
Hey thanks! Nope, this case does not protect the screen at all. It covers just the bezel around the Apple Watch.
Mine is scratching the watch , I stopped using it
you mean the screen is it?
@@TheCaseTheory the actual watch , also it gets snagged easy on your clothes, awesome looking but wish it stood in place better
How is it scratching the watch Iv just ordered it so disappointed.
