@@Maguarkwo671 the plasm wraith had an obsession with olimar, perhaps instead of a main story boss it would appear in olimars side story and moss attempts to rescue olimar

thats why i mentioned the connection between the bloomcaps and the rangings, and yeah the refrences in the piklopedia like the bulborb one are AMAZING!
Maybe in addition to making it easier to attack, what if breaking its shield would have a secondary effect of making the Gatling Groink a lot more inaccurate since the muzzle flash now goes directly into its eyes?
My main idea for Bulbmin that I saw someone mention is that when they’re carrying something, enemies don’t reconize them as pikmin and so they aren’t attacked while carrying stuff, which could be good for dandori and other things. Titan dweevil rematch should have an ice weapon to be honest if there ever is one, maybe put them in a super long cave akin to the pit of 100 trials from paper Mario. Good video!
If Nintendo were to implement the Titan Dweevil in the next Pikmin Game / DLC, I think they absolutely would have to buff the ice effect because it's absolutely useless since it cannot kill your Pikmin. Obly thing it does is immobilising them until your whistle your Pikmin back which usually happens in less than 2 seconds.
It's so funny to me that, when they were developing the game, they were like "Yeah, we can have Red Bulborbs, Adolescent Bulborbs, Dwarf Red Bulborbs, Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Orange Bulborbs, Dwarf Bulbears, Bulbears, and _Jumbo Bulborbs_ But having Beady Long Legs _and_ Shaggy Long Legs _in addition_ to Baldy Long Legs? Well that's just silly. I mean they're all practically the same enemy!" I mean, hell, if they really wanted to change up Beady, they could make use of his metallic look. Make it so you have to dent him with rocks or something in order to make him vulnerable, I don't know. I just think it's a shame he got left in the dust when he was so iconic in Pikmin 1 and 2.
I really like when pikmin has just like colour swap versions of the same enemies. Having variants like that makes the world feel more alive to me and is a nice touch
I need enemies to fight other enemies, like, imagine if snagrets ate sheargrubs, like luring sheargrubs to them just to kill them, or the intros having a dead bulborb being mourned like elephants? I’m full of ideas
@@prizedbenchreloadedandextreme Instead of giving us 50 different ways to get the Snagret's head stuck in the ground, them prioritizing eating sheargrubs would be a fun way to divert their attention and leave them open to attacks.
The titan dwevil could have mini versions that only use one treasure and are actively aggressive. This could be used well in a cave with repeating treasures, and you could battle against a dwevil army!
It would be cool if they had different treasures as well like a hammer for crushing or a smoky progg trapped in a bottle that lets it spew out the insta kill fog
New Cave concepts: Cave: Insectoid Fortress Location: Giant's Hearth Voyage Log: Got a little sidetracked along the way. Something smelled good in this hole. Lots of crunchy snacks down here. Plus, there's no good snacks anywhere. I did see something move down here, but it didn't seem to be edible. -Louie Boss: Plasm Wraith
Crow's nest makes me think there should be a new exclusive snagret on the final floor. A three-headed crow snagret called the Polycranial Snagret. It's fitting because snakes sometimes have multiple heads!
For the Hairy Bulborb, it’d be cool if they totally redesigned them to be something unique. I’m imagining a mammoth-like Bulborb. Just give the hairy Bulborb a giant pair of tusks. When you wake it up, it jumps up in rage, and uses a dash like Oatchi to charge into you. It’s kind of like poking an elephant, he just goes WILD Personally, I am A-okay with older enemies having their functionality/design retooled to fit newer games. Stuff like what they did with the Smoky Progg is REALLY cool and I wish they did more of that!
The male Scornet Maestro could be called the "Scornet Minstrel" Also, if there would be a Quaggled Mireclops in the Beasts Hearth, it could be cool to take the form of a chunk of coal instead! It'd be smaller, and fitting of the area! (maybe "Carbonous Embaclops"?)
I think the Phosbats could work really well in night missions! The Vehemoth Phosbat's piklopedia entry mentions that they tend to venture out at night, so I'd imagine that instead of using the lightbulb mechanic, you'd need to use a glowmob to make it drop to the ground
An idea for the hairy bulborb is that just like how the shaggy long legs is immune to damage unless you pluck its hair, so will be the hairy bulborb. You throw a bunch of pikmin onto its back, and the pikmin first pluck off his hair and once the hair is all removed now you can do damage and take it down. Other ideas would be that since he's an arctic creature he's immune to ice pikmin freeze, and that he still prioritizes bites over shaking. ❄️
i think it could have been cool if the antenna beetle came back as a more boss-like enemy, like having it use its whistle to control pikmin so you kind of play tug-of-war with it trying to get them back
Volatile Dweevils also didn’t technically come back, but there are definitely referenced in the engulfed castle with an occasional dweevil spawning wirh a bomb rock.
What you mean!? Decorated Cannon Beetles have their boulders they spit homes on to captains, while the "curving" Cannon Beetle Larvae you were talking about spits boulders that follow a set path til you are in range for them to stop and start attacking directly which during so still fires NON-homing boulders or straight if you want to be formal about it, they are definitely not the same enemy. They likely have to be boulders or homing be nerf if brought back as prevention for player using them cheesing obstacles and enemies alike.
The phosbats feel so perfect for a cave. Unlike most of the other pikmin 3 bosses I feel like even a full vehemoth phosbat would fit in well in that environment. All of the phosbats also would have fit so well in night mode too. Maybe the glow pikmins charge attack could do extra damage on them because they are hurt by light
I feel like if you want to make decorated cannon beetles more unique, you could have it so that their boulders contain raw materials, and that defeating them drops a stupid amount of raw materials
honestly a male scornet maestro that plays a solemn tune on its harp but cant attack you sounds like a nice thing to stumble upon in the primordial thicket. especially if you maybe had to break past a scornet hive to get there and then kill the maestro for the treasure. would be entirely harmless, but a nice callback
The hairy bulborb can act as a tutorial for positioning and ramming pikmin onto their backs, having the hairs be so thick that they prevent pikmin (aside from fire pinecone reds) from attacking them
Pikmin 4 should have DLC. Just imagine Olimar's Shipwreck Tales, but again with EVERY stage from the main campaign this time, EVERY Pikmin type (minus the Glow), with redesigned ship parts (or whatever collectable) placements, with all new harder enemies like the ones from this video, and perhaps new music too. I think this could work if we have an opportunity to play either a Louie campaign OR, if this is a reboot of Pikmin with elements from the first three games, then they should retell the story of Pikmin 3 where you are collecting fruit! That would be awesome! You could play as Alph, Brittainy, and Charlie all over again! And perhaps, we'd get an opportunity to flesh them out even more! I'd also like it if they didn't limit me to 3 types of Pikmin only.
That’s a lot of work for the devs, and the game took 10 years. I don’t want to ask for too much. And, you can still have fun rehashing the same areas. Kust look at Pikmin 2, or Pikmin 3’s missions.
I've always had the idea that for Bulbmin, one of their gimmicks be that they go undetected from enemies (for the most part). Always thought it was weird they got found out the exact same considering the only difference between them and normal enemies is the stem on their back.
I am a staunch Stuffed Belbloom advocate. Could've been perfect for dandori challenges as a harder version of the piles of gold nuggets. And I love how its jumping animation really brings me back to the days of Pikmin 1 dificulty.
I feel like the titan dweevil and the plasma wraith are too special to be brought back in their entirety. Instead, if you made mini versions, then you can have more fun with the stuff. For example, if you make a mini titan dweevil (Goliath dweevil?) You could have it roam around sub levels, taking certain treasures and using them as weapons (like one rolling pool balls at you) The mini wraiths could be a night only challenge where they add elemental effects to normal enemies. Like turning an albino bulbord into a poison one.
8:24 lets say the first week goes by, you go to go to a level and being keen eyed you noticed the overall completion % is different, but you know you grabbed a few bits finally load in, suddenly collin, the ships AI or something pops in and mentions the scanner is reading a weaker signal for some reason like what was initially "pinged" is disappearing the longer you take to collect key pieces turns into a harder minibossfight, but reduces how many times you have to fight em (all pieces on em means 1 fight like his og boss fight in 2, but no pieces collected cause you speed ran over to em means he'll run away multiple times at half hp or something with the slight benefit his overall hp pool is somewhat decreased- so you *might* be able to get em a fight or 2 sooner than the "uh oh, gotta run!" sequence would allow mainly depending were you just shy of a week or did they get an extra piece or so)
I think a way they could have brought back Beady is that he cannot be clung onto. See, with Baldy Long Legs, the Pikmin are able to climb up its legs to reach its head. However, in the Piklopedia, it's stated that Beady Long Legs has a waxy secretion all over its body, so perhaps that could make it more unique where the Pikmin could not climb it since it's so waxy.
Meanwhile the Armored Cannon Beetle in that one part in the room where you go to cry: Edit: All the enemies from Hey! Pikmin go to hug him because they understand him
@@WigwamManthat and a fully water-based fight like the long water dumple would be cool, there hasn't been another fight in the series fully taking place underwater.
I think The Luring Slurkur would fit best, its arena would probably be a circle with some water puddles, the luring Slurker will then go to the and suck the water and turning it into ice which it can use to crush pikmim, would really work well as either a basic enemy or a boss in caves
Here are ideas. Beady Long Legs: Pikmin can't climb the legs. Goolix: A blue Pikmin swims to the brain and smacks it to slam against the pearl. Bumbling Snitchbug: The Stronger version of the Swooping Snitchbug grabs two Pikmin per hand and will actually hurt the captain and your dog because of how hard he throws! Antenna: The real enemy that annoyingly constantly comes and goes and will reappear in caves. Whereas Moss is a one time foe. And it doesn't effect your treasure gauge anymore. Decorated Cannon Beetle: Renamed to "Larva" it's boulders actually chase after you and your Pikmin. Armored Cannon Larvas' rocks stay on path. Unmarked Spectralids: Like the Ujadani where they're tiny rare butterflies and a group of Winged Pikmin will smack them down, earning TONS of nectar and ultra spicy spray. Ujadani: Rare poisonous ground enemy. Must I go on? Medusal Slurker: Actually floats differently than the jellyfloats and doesn't kill Pikmin. Just traps them. Every other enemy already has such a different function at least. People may also argue that you forgot the Armored Cannon Beetle as a "dropped enemy," but the darn Horned Cannon Beetle cannot hide that Nintendo still brought the classic beast back in some form! It's still the same beast we all ❤ from the original game!
i'm a bit surprised there was no suggestion for an arctic groink variant that would target and put out fires you've lit, like the snowfake fluttertail, but from a distance also, groovy long legs is basically already raging long legs if that boss was fun to fight
The way I see it, I think the Gatling Groink would have allowed players to use another creative way to defeat it. Essentially, you could throw Rock Pikmin at its face shield, breaking it and allowing players to attack its softer head. To counteract the added weakness, the Gatling Groink would retain its ability to revive unlike the Spotty Bulbear.
the swarming sheargrub would fit well with the Breadbug floors in the caves. Basically they'd act as backup and help breadbugs win the tug of war if you're not watching your pikmin.
*Hey! Pikmin in the corner with some actually fun and decently interesting enemies that could lend themselves to some cool interactions like the Armurk, Electric Cottonade, or even the Elongated Crushblat:*
13:05 the mawdad is based of a euryptired, (translation: anciant sea scorpion) so it would make more sense for it to be in the primordial thicket as a varient. (Also its pri-mor-di-al)
Plasm Wraith would be amazing in 4. Instead of going after your captain, it goes after various castaways and you have to guide the pikmin carrying them to the end.
I actually have an idea of the bulbmin mother being a space dog replacement. Maybe in some sort of dlc. Like, your mc and oatchie end up lost on unexplored, dangerous areas of pnf-404. These areas are covered in Ice, thunder storms, and eternal darkness. In order to save the mc, oatchie, and any other castaways in these areas (Including the actual pikmin 3 Koppaites), Collin and Shephard must travel there. Caves return and increase in difficulty, enemies hVe evolved in horribly dangerous ways to survive the harsh climates, and onions have lost their ability to reproduce. However, the two discover a bulbmin mother and and 20 bulbmin. The bulbmin have 0.75% attack, but can stun enemies with their charge for 0.5 seconds. They can only be found in caves and are resistant to all hazards. Other bulbmin can be found randomly fighting in the wild and in caves, Wings, rocks, purples, and whites can be retrieved from candypop buds. Also in harder difficulties there could be a time limit for rescuing the mc and oatchie. As for the bulbmin mother, she can run and jump just like regular oatchie. She can swim right off the bat and is resistant to all hazards. She has less attack then oatchie and moss however and a weaker charge that doesn’t allow you to immediately kill any enemy.
This was actually the original concept for oatchi! The spacedogs where going to be friendly Bulbmin. The spacedogs make more sense, but if they did go through with the bulbmin it wouldve been the coolest thing
5:57 Isaac einstein got a little too interested in a pikmin invention. I like that the titan dweevil is literally a super smrt spider, it's not even missing any eyes!
The raging long legs could cause boulders to fall, when he’s in his rage state, he could also have a slamming attack with his head forcing you to get out of his weak area.
*puts on nerd glasses* Tecnically no, it's the same enemy, and the fact it's not the cannon larva adult is a retcon. The Japanese name is the same, check the wiki.
Since most of the traits of the antenna beetle are already incorporated into the game, how about instead turning them into a side quest? Every cave has one antenna beetle in it, and if you deliver it to the ship while you have the scientist, he'd give you whistle upgrades? Could get a bigger range, longer reach, and even stun enemies
The titan dweevil could have fit perfectly on Olimars's side story, substituting the man-at-legs. Spider-like creature with dangerous attacks, Olimar had some weapons on the ship, and what you said of the titan dweevil covering itself on actual treasures... it's just adding 2+2 lol
I think it would be incredible if it had the Nova Blaster so we can finally see once and for all of it’s even a quarter of what the advertising promised, or was just a big dud.
I can't get over the fact that they _still_ didn't bring back the mature Armored Cannon Beetle, but instead put in a new, _very_ similar enemy called the _Horned_ Cannon Beetle.
Decorated Cannon Larvae actually function differently from the Armored Cannon Larvae in Pikmin 3 and 4. Their boulders are sentient and are attracted to you, making it easy to kill them with their own boulders. And while you can kill Armored Cannon Larvae with boulders, you can't kill them with their _own_ boulders.
What if the baby mireclops had a flower instead of a fruit, and when viewing its log it turns out the mireclops is the adult form of the creeping chrysanthemum? I think that would be a neat twist. Also for the raging long legs, what if had the ability to slam its main body into ground, making some rocks fall and shifting the arena a bit?
honestly I'm kinda shocked no Pikmin 3 bosses returned. Especially the Scornet Maestro since she's already around the difficulty of the bosses in the game
Titan dweevil with other weapons would have so many possibilities, like a fight with other enemies (or even a double boss fight) where the titan dweevil has weapons to stun your pikmin and make them vulnerable to other enemies, like an ice attack, a dog whistle that stuns oatchi, a bomb (or ice) rock launcher, a drill that hammers the ground to make rocks fall, something to trigger the "dancing" effect, or a bubble blower
Imagine Titan dweevil in pikmin 4 as a secret boss in like subterranean complex, where if you get any mechanical objects they will go too the Titan dweevil, if you never collect any mechanical parts there is no Titan dweevil, but the more you collect the more his legs and body is made up until eventually he is whole, and if you collect any metal parts on the sublevel he's on but construction hasn't begun, it will instead not add onto him. You can also use oatchi too knock it down and take the treasures back for sparklium.
There’s another Pikmin enemy that I’d like to see return in Pikmin 4, and that is the Calcified Crushblats. I’d like to see this dude return as an overworld boss, and seen somewhere in Primordial Thicket, even included in the final cave of the game alongside with the other bosses. With this enemy returning, it gives rock Pikmin a bit more use into the game, as they’re pretty underutilized, ESPECIALLY in said final cave, where you don’t get to use any of the Pikmin 3 newcomers there at all (that is if you’re using the recommended Pikmin selection.).
Feel like for the Pikmin 3 bosses, the mawdad and the maestro could have been reoccurring minibosses (like what was planned for goolix). Plasm wraith and phosbat could make for good end of cave bosses (with the baby bats being reoccurring enemies. Then just make the slug and mireclops end of area bosses and you’re set. Yea it would feel very similar to Pikmin 3, but if we’re trying to truly create the ultimate Pikmin game, I don’t think people would mind. And besides, Pikmin fans have been begging for over a decade to fight the same yellow 4-legged spider for the 5th time, I don’t think they’d mind fighting the mireclops again.
I wouldn't put Raging Long Legs into the Kingdom of Beasts- that dungeon is for the Bulblax royals. Also while I don't mind the Emperor Bulblax coming back, it'd be hard for the Titan Dweevil and Plasm Wraith not to feel like downgrades. People already criticize the Emperor Bulblax, and they'd also risk making this game's final boss feel less unique. That said, there were some real good ideas. I'd like to add a couple of my own- the Rock Pikmin could be used on the Gatling Groink's windshield to make it more vulnerable. The Arctic version of Shaggy Long Legs could appear in one of the ice dungeons. While most of Hey Pikmin's enemies weren't designed for standard Pikmin, I feel like a few would've been fun to see reimagined.
I forgot to mention that Purple Pikmin are immune to getting sucked up by the Jellyfloats because of how heavy they are. The Medusal Slurker on the other hand can grab Purple Pikmin. So there's a big difference in the Slurker and Jellyfloats there!
It Wold Have Been A Cool Idea To Add The Luring Slurker from Hey Pikmin, It's Piklopedia Log States That It Saps Heat From Prey, And With Water it can Use a Crushing Projectile, it would be cool Where You had to Use both Ice for Resisting It's freeze Attacks And Rocks For The Crushing Attacks
Redundant enemie species could be used on different areas, as giving one of those species to each area would differentiate those areas more and make them feel more varied and unique. Plus it would make biological sense, as much species are basically the same but they live on different places and have different coloratuon
5:43 also you could have the ability to shatter their glass shield with Rock Pikmin too! Im really sad they didnt come back now bc they could've been very cool to fight with the new Pikmin
"There were only two enemies from Pikmin 1 that didn't make it into Pikmin 4, that being Goolix and Beady Long Legs" *Sad Armoured Cannon Beetle noises*
The phosbats would be perfect for night missions. I imagine the phosbat flying around laying pods that create the little phosbats. And using the glow mob would stun it allowing damage.
the snow bulborb could have used the purple as purples use their weight to force themselves through the thick fur, and rocks could break the gatteling groinks front shield
An idea i had with bulbmin if they returned is that if they had and onion you would only be able to get more bulbmin with bulborb and the onion would upgrade depending on the bulborb you give it (bulbears and icy bulborbs) and each bulbmin would have a little unique abillity or something and on some caves the bulbmin onion can enter the cave with you(and the bulbmin would prob be immune to some thing that the dlc adds like a corruption thing or something so they are even more unique and the game makes you want to use him(not like the game even needs to cuz everyone would use bulbmin)
A cave+area concept: Area : ice tundra 90 treasures 9 castaways 4 onions Cave 1: water hollows(only enter with blues) Description : Dandori dandori today i found a cave full of water there was so many aquatic enemies, i even found someone here i helped them and now we're officially dandori partners! -??? Ennemies: sputtlefish blue bulborbs water dumple dwarf blue bulborbs Boss : long water dumple(forgot his name) Treasures 13 Sublevels 5 Castaways 2 Additional notes you spawn on top of a tree where there's a scornet maestro with a male scornet scornet and arctic scornet I'll come back later when i'll think of other concepts
Hmm, this will be interesting & fun. I really want to see how they'll bring back the enemies, if possible. Hairy & Snow Bulborbs shouldn't be too hard, as a good way to bring back the Hairy Bulborb is by taking a Frosty Bulborb, change the model, take away the freezing ability, keep the ice immunity. Done! 😄 The same applies to the Snow Bulborb with the Dwarf Frosty. But the Pileated Snagret, Puffmin, Bulbmin, Ujadani, Segmented Crawbster, Ranging Bloyster & such...that will be difficult, as their code is all the way back in Pikmin 2. As for the Pikmin 3 enemies...I wonder how that will go down in the future? For redesigned enemies, the Munge Dweevil shouldn't be too hard, it's just purple instead of green. Original Creeping Chrysanthemum is going to be tough, the coding is different. The lost beta enemies being implemented in the game would be interesting, but that's another story. Either way, looking forward to see if & how the older lost enemies will be brought back. Even if it only works for some of the enemies, it's still going to be good news, especially for future level hacks & other stuff.
To clarify, this isnt a mod just ideas on how they could add them if pikmin 4 was to have all enemies. It was hard to convey that its not a mod in the title unfortunately!
I really don’t feel like making the Hairy Bulborb basically a weaker Frosty would be that good. Makes it feel pretty redundant. I think instead the hair should act as a barrier for the back. Where as it still took damage in 2 with it, in 4 it could instead soften their attacks to the point of ineffectiveness, thus forcing them to pluck the hair off before dealing actual damage. It could also offer a risk vs reward thing as the face might be better to attack as it’s the most vulnerable, except faces usually have a mouth attached and it could very likely eat some Pikmin by the time it wakes up. Another thing is to make it vulnerable to freezing once it’s lost its insulation, and maybe also weaken the effects while it has the hair, but not totally immunized it to freezing. It’s usually the straight up icy enemies that are immune to freezing, nothing furry like Amprats or Mamutas. But Hairy have evolved for the cold, so it would probably have at least some semblance of freezing protection.
i think itd be cool if the titan dweevil could steal treasures directly from the s.s. beagle. like, if you go into the cave with any treasures from the previous point in the day, the titan dweevil would walk over to it and shake it around and grab any treasures that fall out. of course, there would also be treasures on the sublevel itself for the titan to go after if you dont have any in the s.s. beagle
I feel like bulbmin would probably only be used for the trial of the sage, where every floor gave you bulbmin to use. Theyd have all the traits of every Pikmin, with oatchi rush, and it would be needed for the trial Once you beat it you could get seeds you can feed to bulbmin to gain them anywhere you find the species. With larger ones having 100 power
If the bulbmin ever return I think it’d be cool if you could make them fuse into one big bulbmin by holding the charge. It’d follow you around, obey your commands and demolish enemies, but once it loses all of its health or it’s timer runs out then it’ll revert back into a squad of bulbmin

Agreed, I think having more crystal enemies would add a lot to the rock pikmin!
i LOVE this idea!
New groinks
Good video!
thankyou! i love that bulbmin idea too. having a pikmin that further specialises in carrying that isn't as direct as just speed or weight is GREAT!
It's so funny to me that, when they were developing the game, they were like "Yeah, we can have Red Bulborbs, Adolescent Bulborbs, Dwarf Red Bulborbs, Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Orange Bulborbs, Dwarf Bulbears, Bulbears, and _Jumbo Bulborbs_

I mean, hell, if they really wanted to change up Beady, they could make use of his metallic look. Make it so you have to dent him with rocks or something in order to make him vulnerable, I don't know. I just think it's a shame he got left in the dust when he was so iconic in Pikmin 1 and 2.

It’s kind of like poking an elephant, he just goes WILD
Personally, I am A-okay with older enemies having their functionality/design retooled to fit newer games. Stuff like what they did with the Smoky Progg is REALLY cool and I wish they did more of that!
I would love to be able to burn the hairs off them too with firestarters!
@@WigwamMan AHA! Yeah you light them on fire and they start running around in panic dashing into other enemies
The male Scornet Maestro could be called the "Scornet Minstrel"
Also, if there would be a Quaggled Mireclops in the Beasts Hearth, it could be cool to take the form of a chunk of coal instead! It'd be smaller, and fitting of the area! (maybe "Carbonous Embaclops"?)
cool ideas!
I think the Phosbats could work really well in night missions! The Vehemoth Phosbat's piklopedia entry mentions that they tend to venture out at night, so I'd imagine that instead of using the lightbulb mechanic, you'd need to use a glowmob to make it drop to the ground
The Glow Mob would probably also be great when it turns invisible seeing as it explodes into a bright light, thus revealing it
that would be brilliant! we missed out!
I was genuinely so suprised the pilegated snagret didn't appear. I thought it would've been a perfect fit for CfaK but nope, apparently not
it was a perfect enemy to show up in this game! but somehow.... it didnt..
That would add a new awesome layer to the enemy. LITERALLY! i love that idea.
i think it could have been cool if the antenna beetle came back as a more boss-like enemy, like having it use its whistle to control pikmin so you kind of play tug-of-war with it trying to get them back
That would be cool actually!
imagine if there were more dandori battles in the game, and in some of them your opponent is an antenna beetle. that would be fun i think
4:03 for bulbmin I think making them immune to panic (caused by roars) and the dance gas is viable
Great idea!!
Volatile Dweevils also didn’t technically come back, but there are definitely referenced in the engulfed castle with an occasional dweevil spawning wirh a bomb rock.
They basically exist. I miss their awesome caution stripe colour scheme though!
@@WigwamMan Viable
That would be great. And cpuld maybe even make you feel guilty a little!
The hairy bulborb can act as a tutorial for positioning and ramming pikmin onto their backs, having the hairs be so thick that they prevent pikmin (aside from fire pinecone reds) from attacking them
Using the plasm wraith as an actually difficult version of the water wraith cave in 4 would have been perfect.
Yes
I would much rather they create 3 brand new areas instead of rehashing the 6 base game areas.
That’s a lot of work for the devs, and the game took 10 years. I don’t want to ask for too much. And, you can still have fun rehashing the same areas. Kust look at Pikmin 2, or Pikmin 3’s missions.
Imagine something like olimar’s shipwreck take but with Louie. This time we’ll be able to go in the caves.
I've always had the idea that for Bulbmin, one of their gimmicks be that they go undetected from enemies (for the most part). Always thought it was weird they got found out the exact same considering the only difference between them and normal enemies is the stem on their back.
that would be honestly REALLY fun to use gameplay wise!
I am a staunch Stuffed Belbloom advocate.
Could've been perfect for dandori challenges as a harder version of the piles of gold nuggets. And I love how its jumping animation really brings me back to the days of Pikmin 1 dificulty.
The Gatling Groink absolutely could have been in the Ultimate Testing Range
EXACTLY!! its THE place for it!
Quick lil thanks cause I've been studying and staying busy so I haven't been on as much. ❤
THANKS SO MUCH SAGE! UR THE BEST! I Hope you are doing well. Thankyou so much for all ur support 🙏💙
1:25 was so funny
i lost like 60 pikmin there..
I feel like the titan dweevil and the plasma wraith are too special to be brought back in their entirety. Instead, if you made mini versions, then you can have more fun with the stuff.
For example, if you make a mini titan dweevil (Goliath dweevil?) You could have it roam around sub levels, taking certain treasures and using them as weapons (like one rolling pool balls at you)
The mini wraiths could be a night only challenge where they add elemental effects to normal enemies. Like turning an albino bulbord into a poison one.
Great ideas!
8:24 lets say the first week goes by, you go to go to a level and being keen eyed you noticed the overall completion % is different, but you know you grabbed a few bits
finally load in, suddenly collin, the ships AI or something pops in and mentions the scanner is reading a weaker signal for some reason like what was initially "pinged" is disappearing
the longer you take to collect key pieces turns into a harder minibossfight, but reduces how many times you have to fight em (all pieces on em means 1 fight like his og boss fight in 2, but no pieces collected cause you speed ran over to em means he'll run away multiple times at half hp or something with the slight benefit his overall hp pool is somewhat decreased- so you *might* be able to get em a fight or 2 sooner than the "uh oh, gotta run!" sequence would allow mainly depending were you just shy of a week or did they get an extra piece or so)
I think a way they could have brought back Beady is that he cannot be clung onto.
Yeah! Thats why his body has never been able to br climbed. Because its waxy, and i think thats great
Meanwhile the Armored Cannon Beetle in that one part in the room where you go to cry:
Edit: All the enemies from Hey! Pikmin go to hug him because they understand him
Seeing the title makes me wonder how hey pikmin enemies could be added in 3D, the enemies in that game seem... Salvageable.
some of them definitely could probably! I wouldn't mind seeing something like the Fireflinger Groink, he seems really cool
maybe mockiwis could work as basically weaker, but awake bulborbs?
@@WigwamManthat and a fully water-based fight like the long water dumple would be cool, there hasn't been another fight in the series fully taking place underwater.
@@WigwamManshould've had Crumbugs
It's still the same beast we all ❤ from the original game!
i'm a bit surprised there was no suggestion for an arctic groink variant that would target and put out fires you've lit, like the snowfake fluttertail, but from a distance
also, groovy long legs is basically already raging long legs if that boss was fun to fight
that's a great idea actually! and i am aware of groovy being raging's replacement :((
The way I see it, I think the Gatling Groink would have allowed players to use another creative way to defeat it. Essentially, you could throw Rock Pikmin at its face shield, breaking it and allowing players to attack its softer head. To counteract the added weakness, the Gatling Groink would retain its ability to revive unlike the Spotty Bulbear.
YES I LOVE THAT IDEA! how didnt i think of that!
the swarming sheargrub would fit well with the Breadbug floors in the caves. Basically they'd act as backup and help breadbugs win the tug of war if you're not watching your pikmin.
That would br such a damn cool interaction. Amazing idea!!!
2:18 *Shows Crusted Rumpup*
couldn't find the Chrysanthemum gameplay i had lol 😭
*Hey! Pikmin in the corner with some actually fun and decently interesting enemies that could lend themselves to some cool interactions like the Armurk, Electric Cottonade, or even the Elongated Crushblat:*
I hate Elongated crushblat's its not even a crusblat lol
13:05 the mawdad is based of a euryptired, (translation: anciant sea scorpion) so it would make more sense for it to be in the primordial thicket as a varient. (Also its pri-mor-di-al)
thats great! so many enemies wouldve been so good in the thicket! also it will ALWAYS be Prim-a-dorial!

Plasm Wraith would be amazing in 4. Instead of going after your captain, it goes after various castaways and you have to guide the pikmin carrying them to the end.
Would really shake things up. I would love it
Nintendo be taking notes for DLC
i hope so!
The final boss of pikmin 2 could have a speaker to control your Pickman
Pikmin
Great idea!
@@WigwamMan rideable bulbmin should return in a potential dlc tbh….. And honestly a stormy area would be awesome
This s gonna be good
Technically the Armored Cannon Beetle didn't return because the one in Pikmin 4 is called the Horned Armored Cannon Beetle.
True
*puts on nerd glasses*
Tecnically no, it's the same enemy, and the fact it's not the cannon larva adult is a retcon.
Thats an interesting concept!
I think the adult decorated Canon beetle should've been like the normal one but they could fly. Imagine a flying Canon beetle
That would be terrifying and funny lol, my guess is that it would have very pretty patterns on its shell too
the collab we never deserved
💙
The titan dweevil could have fit perfectly on Olimars's side story, substituting the man-at-legs. Spider-like creature with dangerous attacks, Olimar had some weapons on the ship, and what you said of the titan dweevil covering itself on actual treasures... it's just adding 2+2 lol
That wouldve been AWESOME.
I was very confused at first! But hey, the new one looks even cooler!
you're a legend!
thanks!
That would be an awesome twist!! I would love if that was made official. The raging longlegs idea is also genius!
@@WigwamMan thanks!
honestly I'm kinda shocked no Pikmin 3 bosses returned. Especially the Scornet Maestro since she's already around the difficulty of the bosses in the game
I agree! i guess you could say we got like bug eyed crawmad... but come on lol
You forgot the Calcified Crushblat from pikmin 4 nooooo
i did have them scripted and written down. i dont know how they slipped past the editing process! i apoloise.
Everything’s fine until the butterflies start dropping bombs
Love your pixel art for the enemies bro
thanks man!! i really appreciate that.
Perhaps the purpose of the Bumbling Snitchbug could be to kidnap Oatchi and force you to go find him and fight things without his help.
With the high likelihood of a Pikmin 4 DLC, these are all certainly possible
“Everyone hates them and that’s why I want them back”

i am so sorry! i had them written down and everything, i dont know how they slipped past me. #crusblatgang
05:31 is the most based thing Raggins could ever say.
If we got bulbmin back I'd give them a special barrier to break like some type of carrot like roots only they can chew through
i would love that
I wouldn't put Raging Long Legs into the Kingdom of Beasts- that dungeon is for the Bulblax royals.
Good ideas, and i agree!
I forgot to mention that Purple Pikmin are immune to getting sucked up by the Jellyfloats because of how heavy they are. The Medusal Slurker on the other hand can grab Purple Pikmin. So there's a big difference in the Slurker and Jellyfloats there!
Thats a nice little difference i never thought of! I guess this would also apply to captains who have the brace boots upgrade!
@@WigwamMan Exactly!! But the captains can wiggle out of the slurker just like with the Greater Spotted Jellyfloat.
@@xxkyuukitsuniexx7969 Oh yes! Hey! Pikmin enemies should be able to be transitioned into 3D.
Redundant enemie species could be used on different areas, as giving one of those species to each area would differentiate those areas more and make them feel more varied and unique. Plus it would make biological sense, as much species are basically the same but they live on different places and have different coloratuon
Brilliant idea!
5:43 also you could have the ability to shatter their glass shield with Rock Pikmin too! Im really sad they didnt come back now bc they could've been very cool to fight with the new Pikmin

I was completely satisfied with not having to deal with the gatling groink
i wasnt! i love em!
The phosbats would be perfect for night missions. I imagine the phosbat flying around laying pods that create the little phosbats. And using the glow mob would stun it allowing damage.
In primordial thicket, you could have the scornet maestro as an overworld boss and the Male scornet maestro as a boss at the end of one of the caves.
the snow bulborb could have used the purple as purples use their weight to force themselves through the thick fur, and rocks could break the gatteling groinks front shield
genius ideas!
I thought the snowy bulborb could have been given some kind of aoe ability to do with throwing powder snow from the hair on its back.
That is a nice idea
An idea i had with bulbmin if they returned is that if they had and onion you would only be able to get more bulbmin with bulborb and the onion would upgrade depending on the bulborb you give it (bulbears and icy bulborbs) and each bulbmin would have a little unique abillity or something and on some caves the bulbmin onion can enter the cave with you(and the bulbmin would prob be immune to some thing that the dlc adds like a corruption thing or something so they are even more unique and the game makes you want to use him(not like the game even needs to cuz everyone would use bulbmin)
A cave+area concept:
Area : ice tundra
90 treasures
9 castaways
4 onions
Cave 1: water hollows(only enter with blues)
Description :
Dandori dandori today i found a cave full of water there was so many aquatic enemies, i even found someone here i helped them and now we're officially dandori partners!
-???
Ennemies: sputtlefish blue bulborbs water dumple dwarf blue bulborbs
Boss : long water dumple(forgot his name)
Treasures 13
Sublevels 5
Castaways 2
Additional notes you spawn on top of a tree where there's a scornet maestro with a male scornet scornet and arctic scornet
I'll come back later when i'll think of other concepts
The middle phosbat should be called the "Vehemint Phosbite" to sound smaller
Haha i like that a lot
Hmm, this will be interesting & fun. I really want to see how they'll bring back the enemies, if possible.
Hairy & Snow Bulborbs shouldn't be too hard, as a good way to bring back the Hairy Bulborb is by taking a Frosty Bulborb, change the model, take away the freezing ability, keep the ice immunity. Done! 😄
The same applies to the Snow Bulborb with the Dwarf Frosty.
Yes I only just now realized after scrolling some more that someone already had a similar idea as I did
I’m glad I’m not the only one with this idea
11:13 is that blood I see?
Yes! I think. The only sight of pikmin blood we ever see i believe
Yeah that has to be blood! I mean the pikmin is being impaled, so it has to be bleeding out.
The power you gave to bulbmin is just the ram horn
5:48
ice or fungal bullet variant? for the harder caves or to stick with the theme
i think itd be cool if the titan dweevil could steal treasures directly from the s.s. beagle. like, if you go into the cave with any treasures from the previous point in the day, the titan dweevil would walk over to it and shake it around and grab any treasures that fall out.
of course, there would also be treasures on the sublevel itself for the titan to go after if you dont have any in the s.s. beagle
I feel like bulbmin would probably only be used for the trial of the sage, where every floor gave you bulbmin to use. Theyd have all the traits of every Pikmin, with oatchi rush, and it would be needed for the trial
Once you beat it you could get seeds you can feed to bulbmin to gain them anywhere you find the species. With larger ones having 100 power
THAT WOUND BE PERFECT
Baldy Long Legs is more of a boring battle , Beady is a real challenge because you need to have Yellows
If the bulbmin ever return I think it’d be cool if you could make them fuse into one big bulbmin by holding the charge. It’d follow you around, obey your commands and demolish enemies, but once it loses all of its health or it’s timer runs out then it’ll revert back into a squad of bulbmin
The Vehemoth Phosbat could work perfectly as a boss for the House's Attic
