90hz sweet spot.... No need for 120hz one thats feel more like a tech gimmick with increase on battery drain while 90hz is perfect no big difference with 60hz in term of battery drain yet deliver better experience on scrolling and animation
@jdoe8162 True, but there it is also 60Hz vs 120Hz. I've got the S23 Ultra, and it's a big difference. However, I want to buy the yoga 9i laptop, which only has 90Hz. Now I think it should be fine, but 60 would definitely not satisfy me
Think you I have a s23 ultra and a few Samsung phones but I was looking for the best in the a53 sense when I go on power saving it sets to 90 hz and it runs smoother but it is a noticeable difference for example the s23
@@jdoe8162 The difference between 90hz and 120hz is very very small. 60hz has a delay of 15ms while 90hz only has 5ms. For 120hz it's 3ms. The jump from 60hz to 90hz is huge but for 90hz to 120hz is barely noticable.
@Miracupix i have recently made the upgrade from an Asus zenfone 4 to a samsung Galaxy A55, the diffrence is night and day. The new phone is better in every aspect, and when it comes to the refresh rate, well, I'd like to say that 60hz IS shit. A higher refresh rate is much better to look at. The battery doesnt drain very quickly either, especially if you don't use your phone all day.
The comments here are from people who have not used 120hz... because if you spend at least one day using it and go back to 60hz... the difference will be exaggeratedly noticeable. ... I thought he wouldn't notice, and that was a huge mistake.
(imo)I prefer 90hz cuz it doesn't drain battery fast unlike 120hz that eats a lil bit more Battery, even the same "mAh", although 120hz is more smoother & faster abit imo,but 90hz is alright cuz its smooth/no lag unless it carries alot of heavy files, apps, and running many(but if u want 120hz then go to it its still worth it)
Trust me buddy, you notice it irl If you stay on the 90 hz screen for a week and switch back to the 60hz one youll think your phone is lagging Funny story about this is that it happened to me when i was going to buy a new phone for my mother, i got 2 similar specs phones to check out and one of them was appearing to me as if it was lagging the other seemed normal, and then i saw that the one who appeared to be lagging had a 60hz screen the one who didnt appear to lag had a 90 hz screen Again, both had same specs Its not as if one was better than the other but just because i was now used to having a 90 hz screen refresh rate it appeared to lag when it was on 60
The human eye cannot directly see 120 Hz. High contrast fluctuations are not perceived for frequencies much above 60 Hz. This does not mean, however, that a 60 Hz monitor is all you need.
I searched this video since apple is likely to adapt 90hz refresh rate on iPhone 17 which I really want to buy.. yuk Finally upgrade but only 90hz...? Is this kinda joke?

120Hz really makes a difference though. I'm using S23 on adaptive and the 120Hz really shines when you're scrolling through on social media.

Increase the video playback speed to 1.5x, it will show the difference.
Try 0.5 or 0.25

You used 120Hz?OMG You're amazing Lmfao
90hz good enough
90 and 120 hard to realized
Not finding any issues with 60hz actually. Just on your developer options and adjust your transition animation scale if necessary
you're increasing how fast the animation will move, not increasing the amount of frames.
Hello does it also affects the video recording / camera processing when using the camera app?
No. This is only screen refresh rate. The fps in camera is different and can be changed in settings

90 hz is super
Bro can you do for fps...I failed to understand that
