This isn’t a speed test, where you need to operate the phones simultaneously. I think it would have been much better to show an action on one phone, then the other. There’s no way to compare if you’re operating them both at the same time, and doing it so fast that you can’t look at one, then the other.

It's cause the vid is in 30fps and most vids be at 60. Also when u play the vid in 0.25x speed, 120hz opens the app faster by a tiny bit.
I’m using a regular 13 as my daily and after comparing it on a 15 pro at the store, I cant really tell the difference. But its a different story when I compare it to my other phone, s24, its like night and day, the s24 is a lot smoother. Don’t really know why the 15 pro doesn’t make any difference to me.

I find it usually pretty hard to tell a big difference between refresh rates based on what you see on video, even with big computer displays.
Have not tried it myself in real life so far, so idk. But I had the same feeling you had when watching 60hz / 144hz comparison videos for computer monitors, but in real life it is an incredibly significant difference. Might be less so due to the smaller display, but I'd bet its noticeable when you hold it in your own hands.
If you can’t tell the difference side by side, that means it doesn’t matter.

@@pear-zq1uj literally when I went to store I tried iPhone 15 pro and pro max, and i was OH COOL, then I tried the iPhone 15 and i was stunned, I thought it was lagging. Then I saw the statistics of both phones and got it was just the refresh rate difference.
Dont see any difference in both of them, bro you have to open so heavy app like pubg or any heavy games then you know which of them is faster, who opens the game app first and how fast and the difference between both of them,

*Fun fact:* The refresh rate of the human eye is 30 Hz to 60 Hz so once you get to 60 Hz, any higher refresh rate above that can’t be noticed by the human eye. Try scrolling through a page full of text, you'll see the difference between 60hz and anything 75hz or higher (120hz). After that, you'll always see the difference on everything.

If you think the human eyes work in Hertz you better can go back to school. A human eye can clearly see the difference between different refresh rates but not all human eyes are the same. Some people truly can’t see the difference and you probably are one of those.
