- In this video, we are going to walk around a Ford dealership and look at some of the Maroney stickers and see if there’s any markups talk about some of the electric vehicles that Ford is producing and how people are not wanting to buy them and some information about invoiceand how much gross profit these dealers can make per vehicle.

They built the vehicles the GOVERNMENT told them to build, not the vehicle customers actually want.
Nobody told Ford to stop offering sedans, and they still have the most recalls every year.
They built high-end expensive trucks because people wanted them and good profit for Ford.

The overlooked benefit of Tesla over a Ford EV is that you don’t have to deal with a middleman dealer who will try to screw you over with BS add-ons & random fees + the shenanigans that comes along with it. The buying experience alone had made people go with Tesla over Ford EV.
Yes but all evs are subsidized by the government , meaning they are wasting billions of your tax dollars trying to force a product that nobody wants … so we get even more inflation.
I bought my Tesla model Y performance from home in my PJ's and recliner online in 20 minutes start to finish without a no help salesperson
The affordable cars have less margin for dealers and manufacturers. Car manufactures got greedy.
Always interesting on these videos that there are no customers in the lots. Last time I was looking for a new car there were tons of people walking around looking at the vehicles.

It has to be the most funniest thing ever like, imagine the salesman looking at the outside of the dealer and seeing, it´s that the boomer that thinks a fully loaded truck shoud cost 30k like in 1995.

We have a 06 Dodge 1500 quad cab SLT with the 5.7 Hemi. Gas mileage about 12.5 MPG but yeah V8 sounds worlds better & tows like an old mule.
Has never given is a lick of trouble but has only 82K miles. Bad bed wheel wells gone from rust but has been a GREAT truck.
These new ones? No way they’re worth what they’re asking for them (ANY BRAND) We’ll keep the Dodge & put fiberglass bedsides on it.

You should see the prices in Canada. F150 lariats all go for around 90+ grand. F350 Lariats are 120+.

2nd that not a ford guy and I’m in Michigan by their headquarters…all their products are gross and ugly to me …rather have a gm with a v8…and a older gm with a v8 that doesn’t have afm/dfm.

I’ve been looking for a basic pickup, heavy duty with a V8. Just purchased a new 2024 Ram 2500 Regular Cab 8ft bed with a 6.4 Hemi V8 for $43,575, $10,000 below factory MSRP. In the world of $70,000 plus trucks with so much crap 0n them that I will never use, I love my simple old school truck.
Smart going Ram. Others are junk.

When my wife and I went to Washington State, we flew in and rented a Ford Fusion Hybrid. I was impressed with the mileage and it not being a pure EV. I was going to buy one, but they dropped the line.
LOL 96K for a F250. These guys are crazy. Indeed they really are screwing themselves for not offering cars and legit lower priced work trucks. When the website shows a base F250 Reg 8 for 45K and base F150 SCrew 6.5 for 49K something's wrong. They both need to be like 10K-15K less. Are all the manufactures this ignorant or just greedy?

Brand new 2024 Mach E in New Zealand is $54990 NZ dollars , that equals to $34450 USD . That is an American built , shipped to NZ .

This is why my parents only buy Volkswagen, Honda, or Toyota.
VW is far, far from the same reliability as Honda or Toyota. According to Consumer Reports VW rates number 27 out of 30. Only Rivian, Merc Benz, and Chrysler rate lower. Toyota and Honda are in the top 5.

Yeah Toyotas and Hondas are more reliable than Volkswagens. But Volkswagens are more reliable than jeeps, modern ford vehicles.
I have a BMW ev and its great. It was 45 and its loaded.
I'd get a rav4 for the same price as the escape & the rav4 has better resell value.
Ford is actually discontinuing the escape after 2025 I believe. So much for affordable cars.

The more I watch, the more I’m gonna baby my 2017 Ram 1500. I can’t believe I got a V-8 just a few years ago for half of what they’re selling turbo garbage for now.

The single cab bare bones XL f150 was around 28k new back in 2019, now they are around 38k new. I dont know who would pay around 40k for a 2wd. These are not the common mans trucks.

Ford has horrible design and function. The exteriors are boring and ugly and the interior is nothing better! Just a shame! Cars should be way more affordable than they are from this manufacturer. Start comparing the gas mileage on some of these also.
