We dog McCarthy for only getting one ring with Rodgers in 12 years and people fall all over themselves to praise Payton, who managed one ring with 15 years of a generational talent in Brees? Please.
Russell is being extremely holy through all of this. SP got the right one. It would have been furniture moving on the sideline had it been anybody else.
Oh, they can "sit there and say" all day long. In fact, they could stand there and say, kneel there and say. In fact, I'm sitting here and saying this.
I mean Russ stats don’t look that bad. 26 tds , 8 ints, 98.0 rat. His qbr not that great but they were bad as a team earlier in the season. I just think Payton never wanted Wilson. But also their oline was trash last year and suspect this year. Inconsistent WRs as well along with a defense that was top tier last year but mediocre this year until they had their winning streak.
Y’all do what’s necessary. Everyone’s still mad at him for that pick in the In zone at the Super Bowl. That said. Hind sight is 20/20, we’ll look back at this and realize we’re being to hard on Wilson.
On March 16, 2022, the Seahawks traded Wilson and a fourth-round pick to the Broncos in exchange for two first-round picks, two second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, quarterback Drew Lock, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, and tight end Noah Fant. Pete Carroll should be arrested for armed robbery.
Couldn't the offensive issues have caused them asking to modify the contract, and then after that failed then went on to protect their assets. Obviously after the sideline incident this has been brewing for a while now.
The Broncos leadership at fault in the first place for this huge mess. First they hired Hackett to try and lure Aaron Rogers. When that didn't work, they pivoted to Russ. The person they should have fired first is the GM. Hire someone from the top that has the experience and success. Then get your coach. Work with the coach on who you want as a QB. Instead they've bled all that draft capital and now hitting the reset. They've got nothing for it. Payton is now on the hot seat to right the ship and while Russ is not the same as he was. Huge spotlight on now who they bring in to replace him.
No accountability for a coach who was suspended for paying players to hurt the other team's star. The saints went 7-9 three times and has only been to one superbowl. Wilson has been to 2 superbowls and has thrown 28tds-8int. Payton has lost 2-3 gms with his clock management and not calling challenges in the game versus the Lions. Payton yelled at a grown man man on national Tv . Unreal.

It’s crazy because last season wasn’t Russ fault, gis numbers were not good at all, but that’s wasn’t strictly QB play. This year he’s playing statistically like normal Russ. But it’s clear he was being sabotaged. Analysts for weeks have said they’re giving him a Kindergarten offense lol…who’s calling the plays?
Russ can't comprehend defense quickly hence why the plays are dumbed down. Take a sec and look at his stats each game. Has 1 300 yrd passing game. That's back up numbers. Face it russ peaked yrs ago.
@@ecpracticesquad4674QBR is NOT a real stat. It’s subjective and it’s quantified by ESPN’s metrics (which are proprietary). QB rating is objectively just about stats. Russ was partly at fault last year. But it wasn’t all on him. Same as this year. He’s been impacted by bad play calling in both seasons here. Sean wasn’t doing things to help Russ succeed. He was trying to force Russ to play Sean Payton’s offense instead of doing what good coaching does…

Spot on, all around. Well done, RC. This felt personal from the jump. And Sean Peyton keeps getting a pass.
Yes, blackballing someone to change their contract is truly shameful for our franchise
Do not renegotiate the contract. Pay me what you owe me. You put foot down your decision, time to eat that cap hit.
Broncos organization chose Payton over Russ coming into this season.
Bingo😮 Say it louder for the people in the back!!!
Oh, they can "sit there and say" all day long. In fact, they could stand there and say, kneel there and say. In fact, I'm sitting here and saying this.
THANK YOU!! i been saying the same thing even before i heard about the contract negotiations. They doing Russ wrong. 😊
Sean Peyton giving them good Ole boy vibes he ain't disrespect drew breees like this smh
Never really cared for Sean Payton since he targeted players when he was with the Saints.. Slightly Shady
I believe that was the defensive coordinator who was doing bounties. Sean Payton was suspended because it happened on his watch.
@@johnnymason2460 yeah probably so.. but I’m sure he knew about it and knowingly looked the other way
"specifically quarterbacks" running backs are treated unfairly
Great rant from RC he brought up some really good points
On March 16, 2022, the Seahawks traded Wilson and a fourth-round pick to the Broncos in exchange for two first-round picks, two second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, quarterback Drew Lock, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, and tight end Noah Fant.
Pete Carroll should be arrested for armed robbery.
Bless this group for standing up for what is right and civil.
Couldn't the offensive issues have caused them asking to modify the contract, and then after that failed then went on to protect their assets. Obviously after the sideline incident this has been brewing for a while now.
Thank you RC for finally speaking the truth here !!
The more I watch first take the more respect I gain for dan as a sports analyst and a person giving players a fair shake.
Broncos country lets ride 😭😭😭
I disagree with most stuff RC says, but this was 100% spot on.
Payton yelled at a grown man man on national Tv
. Unreal.
I fell for this until i thought about it. Russ has been a meme for the past 2 years we are trying to correct our behavior by calling out Sean Payton lmao
Exactly sherman and them was calling him corny he didn’t have his teammates #s we heard all these crazy things about him last year now we trying to overcorrect by coming at Payton
I was happy when I heard the word “thug” applied to him
Agree with RC 100%. Not sure how owners want that as their culture. Not a winning culture that I can see.
I feel he shoulda got another yr … Dude was building momentum goin into Year 3 and wasnt given enough rope IMO
Everyone is too blame for this bonfire in Denver including Russell
This isn't new. Sean Payton has always treated people like this. It's just now finally being talked about.
R Clark Bigg facts, You should have your own show Bruh.
It’s simple, they effed around and gave him the mayo bag, now they like oh snap, he should have gotten the choco bag. He should lawyer up cos this some baulcrap.
He should go to Atlanta
Darth Vader "Perhaps you think your being treated unfairly?"
Degrading actually.
1. Criticized for last season by Sean Payton
2. Parking space taken away
3. "Stop kissing babies"
4. Forced to stay in the game vs Dolphins when they were down 50 points
5. Screamed at multiple times on the sideline like he was a child
6. BENCHED
@@heychongo1988 russ has peaked but dont act like sean payton isnt overrated
He’s got the 21st ranked QBR. He’s not playing well.
@@ecpracticesquad4674QBR is NOT a real stat. It’s subjective and it’s quantified by ESPN’s metrics (which are proprietary). QB rating is objectively just about stats. People conveniently don’t bring that up because he’s been Top 8 in QB rating (98) the entire season and it proves against their/your narrative. His career QB rating is 100! … End of the day, that’s what the HOF, teams, and agents look at when negotiating deals. The END.
Russ was partly at fault last year. But it wasn’t all on him. Same as this year. He’s been impacted by bad play calling in both seasons here. Sean wasn’t doing things to help Russ succeed. He was trying to force Russ to play Sean Payton’s offense instead of doing what good coaching does…
Amen Ryan!
RC is hittin on every cylinder
Salute to Ryan Clark. Well said, highly accurate take
RIGHT ON, RC!!!! I AGREED WITH YOU 💯 MY BROTHER!! WE ALL KNOW WHY HE IS TREATING HIM LIKE THAT ✊🏾
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 for Ryan and Dan
RC nailed it. Unacceptable.
Sean Payton is a respected leader that take no nonsense and I guess he see Russel Wilson as child 😮
Respected by who, he's a toddler, narcissist....
He's an overrated blame deflecting narcissist...You think players around the league want to play for Denver after seeing this?
Stay strong R Wilson. God does have you. You were a great Seahawk!
As soon as Sean was hired he was gonna get his own QB he didn’t like that contract and Russ it was a matter of time
Ryan and Dan are preaching and I love it!! 💯
That’s because Sean Payton is a racist he would have never bench drew Bree’s & Brees didn’t always make playoffs but Russell is a punk & Sean kno it so he treat him like that
I can believe that because drew brees was racist too. Two can’t walk together unless they be in agreement. I’m from Louisiana and I know for a fact drew brees can’t stand black people.
Russ is trash. Not a single teammate has his phone number. He pathetic as a teammate.
putting race in something for zero reason, you sound pathetic af
Sean Payton a great coach was I should say cause his last years in Nola and now Denver tbh is a mighty fall in terms of public optics
RC AND DAN HAVE GREAT CHEMISTRY...THEY SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN SHOW TOGETHER. AUTHENTIC DUDES!
Now whether you hate or love Russ, he didn't and doesn't deserve this..his resume ALONE outshines overrated Sean any day...I wish Russ well wherever he goes, or whatever endeavors he chooses moving forward...the personal attacks, hatred, bashing, and disrespect he's endured are and were God awful..through it all, he's remained professional and humble, which I believe a lot of us would've lost our composure, at least me imo..Denver never wanted or accepted him, and cheating, past suspended, overrated Sean didn't either. Russ deserves better and I'm rooting for him!! Also, people say he's washed, to short, and old, BUT YET HE HAS AND IS OUT PLAYING THE YOUNGER AND TALLER QB'S, INCLUDING MAHOMES, ALLEN ETC...AND, HE'S BEEN PLAYING THE SAME HEIGHT 12/13 YEARS AND HAS BEEN GOOD AT IT..I HOPE PEOPLE MOVE ON AND LEAVE THIS MAN ALONE...THIS SEEMS MORE THAN FB IMO
I really hope other players look at things like this and let this be a deciding factor when it comes to free agency
Thank you Ryan Clark!
"Don't one of you got sickle cell or something?"
Ryan Clark snapped in the classy way 💪🏾💪🏾
Why are they acting like he is guaranteed to get injured over the next two games? And beyond.
Ryan Clark speaking straight facts you really know what he saying without saying it i don’t even like Russel Wilson like that as a Qb but Ryan is on point 💯
I love Ryan Clark… always gives sound analysis and he’s entertaining, too. Reminds me of JJ Reddick, who I enjoy in the same capacity.
I never really had an opinion of Sean Payton. Now, I've lost any and all respect I would've had !
