Great topic. There is not much info out about this if you are new to the hobby. I just purchased a Radiomaster Pocket with some Radiomaster PWM receivers. I was wondering how other receivers would work with it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for an informative video. I too have been flying Frsky and have a lot of receivers which I use with my TX16S. I don’t like the fine tuning needed with Frsky. I’ve recently bought some Lemon receivers and I’m impressed with the value for money. They are Spektrum compatible.
I've used mainly FR sky X8R And tried a few of the spectrum receivers I was not as happy with the signal strength with the spectrum One that works exceptionally well but are hard to find are the hitec Receivers such as the optimus 7 And nine Use the frequency fine tuning portion on the radio master and you will get incredible signal ! I get 20 to 25 points better on RSSI strength compared to any other receiver Using the Hitec optima !! Have not tried any of my fly sky receivers yet But I plan to do some testing as I have a bunch of those Thanks for the great video
@@tdogrc So 10-Channel DSMX™ Compatible Telemetry Receiver with Gyro Stabilization from Lemon - LM0087VP will be ok for binding with RadioMaster TX16S with the 4-in-1 module LBT?
In my case I purchased a batch of six R88 receivers. Every one of them suffers from the so-called "swamping" issue. If you have the TX16S transmitter too close while you are testing the receiver and aligning your control surfaces, after about 10-15 minutes, the connection between the transmitter and the receiver goes bad. The servo responses become erratic with any control input from the transmitter. I will not trust these things in my airplane. Love the transmitter, hate the receivers.
@@ktakis76 Something that you should also note is that your Futaba receivers must be Futaba S-FHSS protocol (NOT FASST) to be bound to a Multi Protocol Radio.
As standard the 4 in 1 automatically maps spectrum rx's so on the tx16s you use aetr as standard and the 4 in 1 remaps it to spectrum ie channel 1 throttle etc. All this can be remapped by downloading an update with special configurations but as standard it will remap. You can also set up in the radio in opentx under remapping the output and inputs. Always take care and test out without prop. Lots of people caught out by this. Mainly use Frsky rx's as that's what I have used and they have always been reliable.
@@tdogrc I use radiolink tx but wanted to upgrade to tx16s tx because of multi protocol ,I never had a problem with radiolink rx,s and they are cheap also
@@heklik hello. 4 in 1 let’s you use lots of different receivers such as Frsky, Flysky, spectrum and Futaba. ELRS only lets you use an ELRS receiver. But ELRS is great for long distances and Radiomaster make some great ELRS receivers.
@@heklik Buying the 4-in-1 Internal Module Version makes the most sense with these. If you decide later that you want ELRS you can add a VERY high power output module to the rear bay. There it can be powered by a large external source and have much better cooling than an Internal ELRS Module. External Modules are comparatively cheap AND transposable.
Nice, thanks for taking the time to make this video!
@@RC-Flight no problem thanks for watching 👍🏻

I’m new…. Futaba fixed wing line of sight RC flyer just expanded into FPV. Greetings from Oklahoma 🇺🇸💥🔥
Greetings. Welcome onboard 👍🏻
My Radio Master TX16S is working well with all of my Spectrum brand receivers.
👍🏻
Nice video. What is the brand of the sensors?
Thanks for that 👍🏻. It’s a Flysky sensor.
Can you use TX16S with a FrSky Archer Plus SR10+ receiver?
@@stnikou hi. No it doesn’t support the new frsky access protocol 👍🏻
@tdogrc i am looking for a receiver that has 10 ch and stabilise can you suggest anything i mean for TX16S
@@stnikou you could try Lemon RX. I have used them with the radio master. Motion RC sell them 👍🏻

@@ktakis76 absolutely as long as you get the 4 in 1 version 👍🏻
@tdogrc Sorry for being so detailed, but as i can understand, i have to attach the 4 in 1 module to the tx16s and after that i will be able to bind?
@@ktakis76 yes if you have an ELRS TX16 but you can buy a TX16 version that has the module built in 👍🏻

Hi, do you know any shop still selling the RadioMaster R161 Rex?
No I’m afraid not. I don’t think you can get them now.
very informative video thanks for help
Great thanks for watching 👍🏻
If you had to recommend, would you get the 4 in 1 or eslr tx16s?
It depends on your requirements really. If it’s long range FPV then ELRS otherwise I’d get the 4 in 1. Cheers 👍🏻

So I see the lemon rx, but are there any micro size pwm RX that have stabilization that you know of?
No not micro. The frsky S6R is probably about the smallest.
