@@467GAN6 Yeah unfortunately there has been certain jobs that I don’t feel comfortable taking on myself like the trans rebuild and when I needed to throw in the rv6 clutch. I was thinking about including the pricing of each item as I went on but I wasn’t sure if that was something that people cared about considering many buy parts used. It’s probably anywhere from 11-12k if I added everything up. Definitely a lot more than I planned to spend when I bought this car. The biggest chunk of that is from what just happened when I had to take the car to Honda and have the transmission rebuilt. I really appreciate you for checking out the video! I hope you enjoyed💙
@@Jeffe4506 Thank you so much for the kind words i really appreciate it. To be honest if someone offered to trade straight up for a Type R I don’t think I would take it. I love what I’ve done to my si, and I really think it would be a close race between the two cars. I would love to line it up next to a stock fk8 and see the results. Thanks so much for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed!💙
@@JordanAckerman_ 100%! You’d prob beat a type R owner cuz a good driver woulda done what you did haha they just have too much money to spend lol but yeah man nice job ! Hope she runs forever!
@@Jeffe4506 Thank you so much my man! That really means so much to me. I plan on keeping this far for a long time and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this car. I really appreciate the kind words again! I hope you enjoyed the video💙
Thank you so much I really appreciate it. I really do love this car and plan to keep it for a long time so I’m really not in any rush to build it crazy. Just taking my time with everything and learning as the build progress. Thanks so much for checking out the video. I really hope you enjoyed
I definitely am planning on getting and upgraded turbo and run e30. Just want to do some more preventative maintenance so that I don’t end up causing the head to lift. I plan on keeping this car for a long time and I definitely feel like I have a ton more that I still want to get done. Thanks so much for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed💙
I really appreciate the support! I actually happened to find the intercooler on marketplace for too great of a deal to not get, so I had to go pick it up. I’ve heard some people say the charge pipes don’t do much and others say they do. Personally I definitely plan to upgrade and get the prl charge pipes as well in the future. Right now it’s definitely not a main priority as I think the money I would spend on those I can put towards something much more interesting and worth it. I would love to get an acuity short throw shifter possibly next. Thanks so much for checking out the video! I hope you enjoyed💙
@@JordanAckerman_ yea great video man. Im getting some mods done slowly. Lately I just been doing cosmetics giving a more custom look. But yeah performance radiator cools all fluid and temperatures in the car especially if you going to do some fast driving or races
It’s such a bad habit lol. I’ve been trying to work on it and not do it as much when I’m filming. I really appreciate you for checking out the video my man. I hope you enjoyed!
I think the normal spring rate on the br series is 8kg for the front springs and the rears are 5kg. Some companies do have options to upgrade to swift springs when you are already buying the coilovers but I just went with the normal bc setup. I really appreciate you for checking out the video! I hope you enjoyed💙

I really appreciate the kind words bro it means so much to me. I genuinely enjoyed filming this video today and hope to post again sometime soon. I was thinking maybe another POV drive🤝
@@JordanAckerman_ a POV drive would be awesome! Maybe a video over your review of ownership, future goals, outside clips, or things you dislike! It’s all up to you tho! Keep releasing bangers 🤍
Hope you guys enjoyed the video🫶
How much have you spent on all this? You said you spent around 2-3k on just your transmission. Dude you gotta be like 10k into that civic by now.

Call me crazy, I’d rather have something like this with all this work, over a “stock” type R. Good Job bro you’ve done this extremely well
