Ed O'Neill never disappoints, not in his acting or in interviews. Good value. 😁😂 I bounce around watched as far they discus boxing, they don't mention Ed has trained for over 20 years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Which is a little surprising. I've been a martial arts instructor for over 40 years, I rarely see people his age begin at the age he started, which would have to have been in his 50's as he is now 75.
If you hadn't had 3+ surgeries in BJJ after 15 yrs you aren't rolling hard enough and a street fight isn't realistic. lol. How far that art has fallen.
@@dealerslicenseops LOL, yep ache and pain, grind, pop, and crack. if I knew then what I know now I would ............... have done the exact same thing all over.
I know somebody that was doing a play and he came down to watch one of their matinees and after the show he took them all out to lunch. Sounds like a cool dude!
Knowing that he hit Roger Staubach late and got a penalty (IN THE OLD DAYS) makes me like Al Bundy 300% more. 4 touchdowns in one game at Polk High doesn't touch that.
Ed O'Neill knows some great stories and is an excellent guest to interview. Speaks very well; I like listening to him much more than I would have guessed...if only he had a career's worth of NFL stories too!
I am glad with Modern Family Ed O'Neill managed to get another hit show. After Married with Children his career kind of stalled for a little bit and people didn't want to cast him because he was typecast as Al.
@@ConvictedFelonKwame No way, that's BS. You're way off. He's talking about the GGG Vs Canelo rematch, and season 10 of Modern Family debuting.... That was 2018. The interview is clearly in 2018.
I love Ed's work with David Milch so much. For anyone who wants to see the range he is capable of, try to find the 6 episode run of the tv show 'Big Apple' which was sadly cancelled. I found it on youtube years ago, hopefully it is still there.
its crazy how many memorable stories from people of all kinds of walks of life, fields of profession, or even general level of fame (if that is an objectively quantifiable thing) happened at sofia vergara and joe manganiellos wedding ;D
Don't let this distract you from the the fact that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.
big lug like that a black belt too ? dayam ! im a 6' 4" always fit individual and in my late teens started taking jujitsu lessons ,mainly out of boredom and the instructor actually told me i was big enough ,there was no need to learn it -so that was it and tG in the past 40 years since he was right !
it's crazy cause in the world of Fighting and mixed martial arts, Rich Eisen is so out of his depth against Ed. Guys he's a Brazilian black belt under the Gracie's. He's legit.
I worked at a tire shop and got to fix his flat tire once(about 15 years ago). He was so polite and friendly, then tipped me $50.
Are you in Hollywood somewhere ?
He seems like a down to earth dude. It’s like he forgets he’s a celebrity.
It be awesome if you fixed the tire of the mighty Dodge
$50 tip for fixing a tire, now I feel bad.
he's a working class guy and apparently hasn't forgotten it
ED IS A "POLK HIGH" LEGEND
Four touchdowns in one game!..hell Dalvin Cook or Alvin Kamara does that all the time in the NFL lol
He needs to write a book. His life’s story is very interesting. Have much respect for him.
Al Bundy one of my favorite characters of all time
and Archie Bunker
And Fred Sanford
Yes
He really is one of the best interview guests ever! I can listen to his stories for hours
Have you seen his Fighter and the Kid interview? It’s like over 2 hours but I was riveted the whole time. He’s got stories for years.
I was just gonna say the same thing I love listening to him talk!
Good storyteller!
Ed knows boxing. He’s good friends with Ray Mancini and used to box himself. Also a jiujitsu black belt. Amazing man.
Yep, Ed knows what he's looking at when he watches a fight.
Al Bundy was one of the best tv characters in tv history.
Met Ed at a restaurant in Santa Monica in 2005, celebrating his daughter's graduation I think, waved to our table and said hi. Good guy.
When I hear the cast of Married with Children and Modern Family talking about how great Ed is, I'm sure Ed is truly a great guy.
ED is the king of all real men everywhere!!!
He comes from a real, hard working town Youngstown, Ohio. One of the few to come out of there and be famous. He’s a legend back home.
It’s kinda funny that he’s also a Broadway guy.
The original founder of NO MAA'M
He knew what was coming...
National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood
And huge fan of "Big Uns"

He’s so cool and down to earth. It must be great to,be his friend. Such a storied life!
I like this guy. I am glad he is successful.
Ed is First Class.
Can't believe he is 73. Guy sounds like he has lived such an interesting life
Who is actually old enough to remember hin as Al Bundy instead of modern family....dude is probably super cool though, real long career
Yeah, I'm one of those people.
Duane Kage I do
I remember him from his Miami Vice episode
I grew up as a kid watching Al Bundy
He was masterful as Al Bundy and will always be defined by that character
Polk High Legend right here. 4 Touchdowns in one game, I think.
marvinshenk would have gone pro, but his possibilities were destroyed by an evil red monster...
His role In Little Giants very underrated
Knowing that he hit Roger Staubach late and got a penalty (IN THE OLD DAYS) makes me like Al Bundy 300% more. 4 touchdowns in one game at Polk High doesn't touch that.

They were going to cast Craig T Nelson
@@christopherporter2459 That would have been such a big mistake.
@@benisroodAgreed. Ed has that element of coolness, even when playing a part like Al Bundy. That just makes the character funnier.
Hes so real. Like when he talks he doesnt disrespect anyone but if he has a problem he will address it
Ed is a legend! Had no idea he was also a boxing fan ,the boxing brings out the biggest superstars to the ring side ..
Black belt in Brazilian Ju jitzu Ed O'Neal
O'Neill.
OG Gracie black belt no less!
and he must have done boxing too he sure knows how to throw punches
Breath of fresh air- an a list actor with actual REAL LIFE experiences!
Man, he looks great for 72
Can't believe Al Bundy is 72, where the hell has the time gone? But yeah he looks awesome for 72
He was younger during the interview. 2013 i think

He's a black belt Jiu Jitsu practitioner himself. Unsurprising that he likes to watch a good fight in silence. I totally agree.

He is amazing. Did you know he scored four touchdowns in a single game at Polk High?
The UFC has a wwe feel to certain things it's done over the years. This is a fantastic interview!!
Ed O'Neill is a great interview.
He's right about Franco. The absolute nicest person you will ever, ever meet.

I LOVE ED....LITTLE GIANTS WAS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME
The man is a legend. Protect him at all cost.
Still the greatest football player of all time.
4 touchdowns in 1 game!
It would be a bucket list dream to meet Ed Oneil. I wish.
He scored 4 touchdowns in a game for Polk High 😆
1:33 their reaction makes O'Neill's expletive even funnier
Love listening to Ed
Best Ed O'Neal, and maybe only, movie was Dutch. One of the funniest movies ever.
I love that movie and have wanted to rewatch it for years but I can't find it anywhere. His performance was outstanding though.
He was epic in The Adventures of Ford Fairlaine. Hilarious!😂
I loved you , Mr. O'Neil. You were freakin' hilarious as "Ed" .
I attended polk high!!
He has a 3 hour interview with archive of American television. Very interesting

Ed is really interesting and likable.
My Hero from Married with Children !

That Ed guy looks like this guy who sold my mom shoes.

Is your mom really fat?
I would love to see Ed in the audience at UFC
Love Ed O'Neill
Love that Franco Harris story!
I don't know how anybody this normal survives in today's limelight.
He has tons of great stories
4 touchdowns……..legend
He looks a lot like football great Kevin O'Shea

I love him.
classy guy love ed oneal my favorite actor
I will never stop loving Ed O’Neal......it is fucking funny hahahahaha
When did Rich Eisen get a talk show ?
Why am I always the last to find out these things ?
I hated Married With Children. I always thought the husband was such an idiot. Now I realize how good Ed O'Neill was.
His low key Mamet impression is great
Ed rocks!
I love Ed O’Neil but he is wrong about the guy who cracked The Russian. Michael Johnson at that time, at 155 lbs, can absolutely crack.
EVERYBODY should have known he was going to drop the F-bomb when quoting David Mamet lol. Amazing

The saddest day of my life was when they announced "BIG 'UNS" was ceasing publication.
5:06 He's talking about Deiveson Figueiredo
Why does Ed's voice sound so natural and Eisen's voice so over produced??
Ed’s 100% right. I used to like Canelo when he was coming up. He’s so arrogant now.
Can someone ask him about the movie blue chip?
Ed would have made an exemplary Swearengen.
Question for the crew...how many points did Larry Bird score in JUST the 4th quarter?
5:04 Al Bundy talking about who would win between Khabib and Connor.
