In this video we continue the progress on the NBS Silverado Single cab Dually build. The interior is in pretty rough shape. The seat is torn and the carpet is full of sand and dirt. After cleaning the Carpet I have decided just to replace with new Carpet. This isn't a direct drop in and does require quite a bit of trimming. I will say after the install the truck looks like new again. It doesn't fit as good as the original but isn't terrible. I also got the new seat bottom installed with new control plastic on the side. I decided this was a good time to add a subwoofer and have had good luck with the kicker l7t. The l7t with box is a 12" and seems to be a great option for us regular cab truck guys. I also decided to respray some of the plastic parts with SEM paint. This really cleaned up the interior of the truck! Lots of cleaning off camera that's for sure. I did black interior on mine. All the carpet and my own headliner. I used TSP and scotchbrite to strip the panels/plastics and then bully dog adhesion promoter. For the paint I used color bond. No chipping or discoloration 4years later. Even the dash. I know how much work that is and I got respect for your effort. Hundreds of pieces when color changing

Sand the plastic down and use a short nap 4in cigar rollor cover when the paint is wet to get the texture back.

U can use a torch to run over bad spots on plastic and help them lay down. We did that at toyota and I still do it on things I work on
