Yes we have a few things to fix on the 2003 nbs GMC Sierra Stepside. The first thing we tackle is replacing the relay a took out for the dually build. While replacing the relay I wanted to do the 6 on mod or the all on mod for the 2003-2006 and 2007 Silverado Sierra Tahoe Yukon and Escalade. This allows you to use dims, brights and fog lights all at the same time. It is a simple upgrade that just requires removing a few relays, putting in the small plate and replacing the relays. It is a even bigger upgrade if you have led bulbs. It no longer kicks off the fog lights when you turn on the brights. Next we fix a common issue on gm trucks in these years. The Oil pressure sending unit. When I bought this truck the oil pressure was not reading correctly. This oil pressure switch or oil pressure sensor can be installed on the truck without removing the intake. You will however get some scratches on your arms. After replacing this the oil pressure is now reading correctly and back working. Last I was not a huge fan of the bullet antenna that the truck had. Instead of buying a short antenna, I decided to have Kam help me cut down a stock antenna. You can make your own and it works as well as the options you can buy. The short antenna will cut down some of the reception but I can still pick up radio stations from about 40 miles away. We have a few more fixes to do on this truck to get it up to my level. I just did this to my son’s truck. Oil gauge was pegged out. You have to hump the motor to get to the back no joke. Was a pain but took my time and got it done!

Next time, to get the ball off the end of the antenna, here is what you can do.
Put the antenna in a vise, use a rag or something to keep it from getting marred up. Take a claw hammer and put the tines near the ball, Take another hammer and hit it a few times. The ball will pop right off. Put some tape around the hammer tines to catch the ball. That way you don't mar the ball up when using vise grips or something else.

I have a ree 99 silverado that im doing a v6- v8 swap now. I absolutely love these nbs trucks and my obs trucks are my all time favorites. Still have my nnbs dually as my daily till my 99 is done and will be my new daily with a choppy cam!

Hey! Thanks for your videos! I just bought the 6 on mod for my 06 Silverado. Do you know of such a thing for a 1997 Camaro? As you know, the headlights need all the help they can get.
Not that I know off. May cause issues on a 97 Camaro
I did the OPS on my 08. Man, it was a pain. Did so with the intake on. Its blind. A little USB camera on my phone with a magnet on my case would have been a life saver. That little plate is slick. I've seen some with my 96 that was a harness. The same brand of plate you used for the mod on your truck makes one for my 08, but it nicks the wires in the harness under the dash. I'm sure the proximity of the relays on my truck likely keeps them from using the plate. Do you know of anything else for the newer generation?
