@Keithaustin2917 unfortunately they don't give a warning they just quit working so I now carry a spare cdi with me on rides. Thanks for watching and ride safe
@5goldenhammer as I stated in the video, you can't spin the engine over to check for spark so having mechanical knowledge and common sense goes a long way when diagnosing something like this.when u work on them enough, you just know by the symptoms ie:the engine was running, had gas,and just quit.they need 3 things to run:fuel, air and spark common sense tells u if it has gas and obviously air, then it's not getting spark.super simple not rocket science
I agree when you took it for a "test ride" it sounded like it wasn't getting spark. I just wonder how you ruled out that it wasn't the magneto, because that would have been my first guess If I was to guess.
@@glenssmallenginecreations Yeah, sometimes for anyone that wants to know, the coils will work, and the magneto will go bad itself or the magneto will still be good and the coil would be bad
Thank you for feedback I will get replacement parts
Same as me going along the road it just died on me diagnosed CDI

@@glenssmallenginecreations Good idea i plan to do the same
i new you could do it great 👍
So how did you diagnose that it was the CDI? It looked more like a guess to me.

Sometimes the magnito goes bad too
@@Tyler-w4v7c I've heard of that happening never experienced it myself though

The kill switch doesn't matter
My 120cc makes a spark it is blue not Orange but when inserted a bike it's like the spark disappears
@MatthewHorse-u4g sounds like a weak coil or magneto.best of luck with it
Happened to me. Night the Volt Master Stage 2.
