We just put in a lot of time running. writing different types of training can get complex to make sure you are getting the most out of it while still being fresh enough to race, but for the athlete, it is mostly just "run this workout".

Which is only like 4 weeks out of a year cuz I go straight from summer Xc training in May, to in season Xc training, then it’s indoor training and then outdoor training and then it’s back to summer training.
