    I'm just glad we're seeing the EV3 in America. My tastes tend to run towards smaller vehicles, and I don't need the space of an EV9, or even an EV6, so the EV3 would be right up my alley.

    This could be my next car. I am `spoiled` with the 800V, and would love to have that also in the EV3. And - in the winter of Norway, I will wait for the 4x4 😎

    Thank you for dissing the Niro and comparing it to this new EV3. I just took delivery of a Niro EV last week and I do love it. For me, it's an "Introduction" into the EV World, as I used to drive a 2022 Hyundai Kona Limited FWD (ICE) and a 2019 before that (and a 2013 and 2016 Elantra before that). As I'm leasing, it's going to be interesting to see what's out there in 2027, when my current Niro EV lease is up and I have to choose the next generation EV. 😀

    I think they really missed the mark by passing on the 800v charging. After having it on the Ioniq 5, I don't think I can ever go back. I'd gladly pass on other features for the benefit of 800V

    Really hopeful about the range - the extra 10 min of charging might be worth the extra range. Wish it was available today! In 2025 it may be competing with used EV9’s. Glad Kia is finally doing the right thing with OTA. Hopefully they put in good 12v batteries, 20kw ac charging, and better ICCU!

    • @path4061
      @path4061 4 месяца назад

      I doubt the EV3 will compete against used EV9s...that is akin to saying people cross shop the Chevy Trax new vs a Chevy Suburban used. New EV3 vs used EV6 is a little more believable.

    • @Bzzap83
      @Bzzap83 4 месяца назад

      @@path4061 I’m just expecting that next year I could buy either a new EV3 or a used EV9 or a used Lyriq for around $40-45k, I agree EV6 used is already $35-45k. I’m not suggesting they are identical vehicles - just thinking they are too close in price, which may be part of the reason there is no room for EV5.

    400 volt will work excellent with Tesla chargers, so I am just fine as too many none Tesla chargers in Canada are useless, not repaired and totally lame, so Koodoos to Kia for selecting 400 volt! Probably depends on the trim level but they did show the HUD on the official reveal video. I like the HUD on my Ioniq 5 but it’s not quite bright enough for broad daylight. I tested an EV9 and it seemed to have a brighter HUD for whatever that’s worth.
