Low Impact Standing Workout for Beginners & Overweight | Joanna Soh
Here's another Indoor Standing Cardio Workout for you! This workout is excellent for beginners or those who are overweight. The exercises are low impact and gentle on the knees. Simple exercises to get you started, yet extremely effective.
The goal is to just keep moving with me throughout this workout. Your heart rate will increase, and you'll burn lots of calories and fat. You'll be burning an average of 200 - 300 calories depending on your speed of walking, workout intensity, fitness level, and also body composition.
Duration: 26 minutes
Exercise Interval: 40 secs Work - 20 secs Rest (Repeat twice)
Difficulty Level: Beginners
Estimated Calories Burned: 200 - 300 Cals

I'm 69 & love the super set workout that I do 3 x per week. I do 40 minutes of cardio 5 days per week.
Great for seniors too! Thank you! I’m 66, in pretty good shape for my age, but most of your workouts are too intense for me. Don’t get on the floor anymore, so standing workouts are great. Love these that are doable for me. 💞💪🏻
Ditto. I am 76 and have given up most of the floor after back surgery/hardware.
Just as i was progressing i stopped working out 8 months ago and I'm regretting it I became so weak than before so I'm starting from scratch again. This made me sweat so much. Thanks a lot johanna it was much needed💖
Hi. Joanna .I'm doing this workout after 2yrs of zero physical activity (sedentary lifestyle) and after 11 mins into this beginners workout i call it done. Looking forward to more beginner friendly workout.
I've been doing this workout every day since beginning of December last year. My weight had started to cause some pretty serious health problems. My sister found me this workout and I changed my diet significantly. Since doing this every day, and my diet, I have dropped almost 10 pounds! I also started walking more, trying to do 10 or more miles per week. I can't wait to see where this takes me.

@@zozolon007 hey thanks for the reply! My diet wasn't anything too special. I just tried to cut sugar out wherever possible mostly. I never counted calories or protein numbers. I just tried to eat better overall while doing cardio and weightlifting.

@@zozolon007 you're welcome! 💛 Also thought I'd mention I've now lost 80lbs since I started my weight loss. I ended up saving these low impact workouts for the winter months during the off days from the gym. Cardio and eating better always seemed to be the best way for me to lose body fat as well.
I started off today with this workout, i am a 100% beginner but i was able to finish all the steps throughout the workout. Trying my level best on meals and workouts.will be sharing the results.

I started my weight loss journey just recently. This is the time i started my weight loss journey again after so many wins and fails. So i stopped restricting myself from food like i used to and started doing daily workouts. I lost around 10LBS within 2 months. But after that i got really sick. But i didn't stop and did this cause it seems a lil bit easy to follow when someone is sick. Thanks so much Joanna. You made my day so much brighter girl ❤

I have built up so much balance and strength just from doing the beginner exercise for teens for about a month now, I was so shocked at how easily I picked up and breezed through this workout! The ski kicks and the leg lifts really got me sweating up a storm. Joanna's positivity has really helped me find the fun in exercising again!!

Short but very effective. I enjoy Joanna's exercises.. they are easy to follow and generate a good sweat even in 20 minutes! Makes me feel good on days when I make less time to exercise.
doing this in the middle of the night because i had no motivation to move the entire day. definitely said low impact in the title but once the movements build up, it is by all means not low intensity. felt amazing burn from my legs from all the kicking! 🦵💪

I can't quite keep up yet, but I'm sure that I'll get better every day. It's especially helpful that I don't have to get on the floor. This is better compared to your previous workouts for overweight people - they were also helpful and intense, but I couldn't do well on the floor.

Hi Joanna . M big fan of ur all workout videos. I have already lost 6 kgs with ur fat burning waste line challenge workout. I tried ur strength training as well but I found it’s hard for me. But I enjoyed all ur workout videos. M losing fat from my whole body except my double chin. Could u plz 🙏🙏🙏share some exercise for double chin as well. Thankyou d tc❤😊
