I have been doing this workout for two months. I do it around three times a week. I have lost 45 pounds. I am 6'6" and I was 350 pounds I am 305 now. Hoping to drop under 300 soon. I have not been under 300 in 10 years. Thanks very much. My girlfriend tells me I look so much healthier. That is why I am doing this. I love it. You are the best
I found this video too and thought it was really fun. Last I weighed myself, I was at 334lbs, that was about 3 months ago. I did my own workout during the first week, now I've been on this workout for 5 days now. My goal is to be able to keep working out 6 days a week and make it a habit, even if it's only 20 minutes a day. The weight loss will be the bonus 😄🏃♀️
That's me! lol I've been having respiratory problems the past couple months and have been too discouraged to start exercising because of it. I'm hoping this exercise is nice on my lungs! (I'm also overweight)
I’m overweight and I have bad asthma. Normally I can’t do workouts either because my body just can’t take it or my lungs can’t. I’ll def have to try this!
I’m 23 and I weigh 240 pounds, today was my first day doing exercise, I hope this time my depression don’t make feel like it’s useless to even try to lose weight, thanks for the workout routine.
I started doing this about 2 weeks ago, I needed something challenging but not too difficult because I have severe asthma and very stiff muscles. I've lost 3kg and even though I started this to help lose weight, the best benefit has been that I can move around better, I feel stronger and I actually want to get up and do things more. It's been so hard in the depths of depression to even motivate myself to walk across the street, but I find myself wanting to get this done every day and once I do it, I feel energised and ready to do more. Thank you Joanna Soh for this video!
Thanks for you detailed review. I’m also an asthma patient and I also search for exercise that I can perform without triggering my asthma. Since you have wrote this review I’m more confident doing this workout without any hesitation. Thanks a ton!
Thank you for this. My mom is 63, she just reached her heaviest weight recently ( 103kg). She was very fit back then, but she got depressed after my dad left us 15 years ago and ever since she gained 50kg because food was her comfort. She told us that her whole body jusy ache even after a walking for a few min, so its time to get her help. Its hard to get her motivated, but I managed to get her to do this workout every morning with me. Its been 3 weeks and she has lost around 2kg (with healthier diet). Its a slow step, but I hope that she's getting better in the future
If you go to this area you should, with a little effort find a motivational speaker. That is someone who can explain how to stay motivated. ruclips.net/video/lrQ5MJw3mss/видео.html
Thank you. People don't realise what depression can do. It presents as laziness. I have been depressed since the birth of my first child 35 years ago. Previous to that I was very sporty; i was in most of the school teams and i played tennis at weekends and would swim whenever i could - if fact i have medals for swimming. But after my parents divorce (which was a total shock) i became very troubled. I now suffer from anxiety and PTSD due to domestic violence so find it hard to go out. I work and that keeps me supple to an extent but i have athritic knees and hips now so stairs are challenging and i can't run or jump. Since being in lockdown I would say I've put on half a stone. I just don't need it. So today i searched for work outs and this one stood out. I've just done it and made it all the way through to the end. I really enjoyed the clear instruction and easy moves. I also trying to walk more - i've started just going around my estate. A friend suggested i time it and try to do it a bit quicker each time. I have no scales but i have last years white Summer shorts to get back in to - so i will report back and let you know if i succeed. We all need to encourage each right?
Thank you for this video! I've been getting up at 5am and doing it 6 days a week and its helped me tremendously...I am almost 46 yrs old, obese, have arthritis in my hips, knees and ankles, have haglunds deformity on left heel and have hashimotos thyroiditis...yeah, a bit much! Anyway, not only have I lost between 2-3 lbs a week, but my joints feel better and I move better when I've done your workout...on my rest day I can tell a noticeable difference in my movement...I cant do the burpees because of the deformity pain, but i do another set of squats in place of it...thank you again! I'm sticking with it! UPDATE: When I started this in October I could not touch my elbow to my knee on standing crunches at all...Now its early December and I can touch everytime now!
I’m already overweight and gained 60!additional lbs since Apr 2020. I just finished this workout and I am dripping sweat. Holy moly! Here is to moving my ass again!
I just found this channel and did this workout. I am very overweight, I suffer from depression and anxiety, and this 20 minutes kicked my butt. BUT! I can do this everyday. I CAN DO THIS.
Props for catering to all fitness levels and weights without labeling anyone as superior or inferior to another. One of the reasons I love your channel so much.❤❤
We're all here to support each other. =) I remember when I first started exercising 10 years ago, I could bare run for 5 mins and always felt dizzy. We all have to start someone and just keep progressing from there. 😎
+Joanna Soh Official mam this is true my weight is 83kg i want loose my wait and keep 50kg this workout can help easily loose ya another your excersise useful send me link
Thank you for creating this series! I am overweight, and want to get healthier. Your overweight series is a great place for me to start. It's always been kind of discouraging when I try to workout and my body just won't do what the videos want me to do. Please keep them coming!
forestelf86 hi how are you.. Hopefully you will achieve your goals... I was also not happy about my weight but I did exercise n clean eating.. Nwe just motivating you..
Hey! We all need to start somewhere. =) Hence, I always say that we shouldn't compare ourselves to someone who has been staying active for many years. Rather than getting discouraged, view it as your goal to get stronger. EVERY workout you do will bring you one step towards your goal. I wish you the very best! =)
Joanna Soh Official Joanna! FINALLY you made a video for 100kg person.. Just wanna say a big THANK YOU! THANK YOU! had been following you for awhile. Loads of love from Singapore.
@@joannasohofficial thank you so so so so much. I did your beginners exercise because I am only 11 years old. But it was so fun and my patents saw the change in me.😃
Joanna!!! My husband and I have completed this workout EVERYDAY since 1/1/2022. Today is 100 days!!!! We have not missed a day. I am on a weight loss journey, and he is a great support to me - this is something we have grown to enjoy doing together. Thank you!!!
I am 17 years old and 185 pounds, heavier than I've ever been. I started working out today and I'll try to keep you guys posted. I want to be held accountable because I need the motivation. I really need to lose weight for my health. Thank you so much for the workout. It was challenging but not impossible. Thank you again
@@nawaar5 hi! I've lost around 14 pounds until now! I've been trying to eat less and not give in to emotional eating. I also got a very physical job where I walk around a lot so that has helped a lot. Thank you for asking!
Please don't do anything drastic. Your diet should never be like a pandulum swinging from extreme discipline to rewarding yourself.I would recommend understanding ultra- processed foods and the nutritional value of what you're eating. It's never as simple as calorie deficit. The only reason why I'm writing all this is, hindsight is 20/20. I've past middle-age and if I could go back to my teens, I 'd only cut out junk food and be much more respectful of my body. Best of luck to you.
I’m slim as well and take ballet classes. However I am in my 50s now and have started having knee issues. This is a great low-impact workout for those of us who are maturing.
First time user! I let myself get to 250 pounds! Last month I started cutting sugars and carbs, and walking as well - ilve lost fifteen pound. Today is my first workout! I appreciate your support and leadership! Hoping this will jump start my fat loss and will help in my goal in reversing my recently diagnosed Type 2 Diabetics! (Wow - first time I said it out loud!)
Laura Frey, have you stuck at it? Have you got a little weight off? Personally this routine has been a life saver for me. I can’t get below 75 Kgs, but I feel so much better.
Over 3 weeks on this workout, doing 6 days a week, one day rest. I didn't diet at all (as my diet isn't very bad now), I didn't lose weight. BUT! My leg fat became much more "smooth" and even, my knees don't crack anymore and my back doesn't hurt. I'm sure that a few more weeks will bring more results. Good luck everyone!
Heyo everyone, if anyone needs to hear this, you can do it! I started this journey a month ago and I already feel better! I do these exercises 5 times a weeks, usually in the morning. It not only helped me with my weight, but also with my overall day-to-day functioning. I was at 127 kilograms, after a month i am at 120. I am also 190 cm tall. Now I am doing three sets a day, soon to start four and them move on to other Joannas videos. You can do it guys! First few days are hard, but once you get used to it, it's really fun!
@@majsdz Hey, I didn't go on a specific diet. I just sticked to healthy food I like, I ate less and less and it came naturally for me. If you want to go on a diet, I would just suggest that you don't go on a strict diet you cannot stick to. Ofc. I had pancakes like after a month, but everything in moderation and you should be good ;-)
Thank you so much for these videos. I let my Depression get the best of me to young and now I'm 23 and obese. I feel ashamed to go to places like the gym and I don't have the money for all the equipment you'r videos are the perfect place for me to start getting back into shape and getting my energy levels back up! This series is amazing!
Hi ❤ I know this comment is old, but how are you doing now one year later? I had depression too and I gained like crazy cause of anxiety and eating when I was nervous lol. I'm 29 and overweight and it suuucks. I just hope you're doing better now 😊
Day 1: I started. Sweated a lot. Day 2: Done. Day 3: Done. Did twice today because I had junk food today but I am maintaining my diet well with healthy foods and not starving myself because that doesn't work. Eating lesser portions every two hours of homemade stuff and fruits. Light stuff. Heavy breakfast, It should be done at 7 but I do before or at 10 kinda and breakfast around 2, snack if u want at 4 and dinner is super light before or around 7. Super Light dinner. Doing the workout early morning. As soon as I wake up I drink half lemon in warm water. Make sure u follow things according to your body because you can suffer with health issues otherwise and even acidity, dizziness etc. Food is basically energy. Don't eat to fill ur belly always. Keep 1/4th of it empty. Drink loads of water. Like 2-4 litres per day. Trust me it helps remove the dirt and we all gotta adapt these habits for a healthy lifestyle. Junk Food is full of calories and makes u want to eat more and it's not easy to digest. It's ok to have it some time like Sundays but try following the plan. Walk is 50% and workout matters a lot too. But make sure u walk before and add this workout to routine too. Then shower. Our bodies need movement indeed. It's fast and simple. I appreciate this dear coach. The fact this is free. Just do it guys. Btw, This won't work if you want to lose weight but u don't maintain diet. We need to adapt something health for our whole body and sacrifice the crave for binge. Like just to please the taste, We ignore our whole body. Diet is like 80% & 20% is workout. Don't go too extremely. Results take time. Don't lose hope. Believe in yourself. We all are capable of it. She said it right. We all need a starting point and hence dedicate this year and more for good. We gotta get and stay active forever. Slow & Steady, Wins the race. You are capable of working out at this age. Don't do to please anyone. This is just for the sake of your health. We gotta maintained ourselves. Choose day 1 or one day. Good Luck. Trust me, You just gotta push urself in the first few days and you'll feel motivated yourself and positively you can encourage many more people! Day 4: Done. Day 5: Done.
I love this workout I started my weight loss journey in January after my fighting endometrial cancer i had to have a hysterectomy and a tummy tuck and as a 340lb women exercising was a problem.... That's why I love this workout thank you so much for helping us overweight people..... start weight 345lb now 276lb weight goal is 145lb xxxGood Luck and best wishes everyone,
Johanna!! You are the best!! I lost 21 kg in the last four months with help of this video, going to walk and a correct diet. Just wanted to tell you that you have a fan in Buenos Aires, Argentina
This is the video I'm looking for so long, coz when you are obes, u can't simply copy all the workout on the Internet. And we have knees problem when we are overweight, workout that include jumping will be impact to the knees.
Joanna, it is 2020 and we are in a "lock down" . I feel you are an Angel sent to us who need a bit of exercise but not sure where to start. PLAESE continue helping us and make more videos like this one.I did this exercise for the first time, I was "easy" but I am sweating like a pig right now. Thank you !!!!
ive been working out for like 3 weeks now and its crazy how big of a difference it makes! its great that ive lost a couple pounds on the way but i also feel soo much better! i have more energy!
I started doing this workout around june and in the first week of doing this everyday, I felt a little bit stronger by the end of the week. I fell off for a bit and got back to it and went back and forth for awhile. But even doing this and changing my diet, I managed to lose 30lbs. I also started intermittent fasting from april! I find that when I exercise, I'm more motivated to eat better and continuing the exercise. For awhile, just the 2 sets were enough to make me really exhausted, but I just started to do 3 sets. Yay for getting stronger! Thank you Joanna!
I think it is amazing and inclusive of You to include people who are above 100kg. It really shows you here for the beginners too! Exercise and feeling healthy IS for EVERYBODY. Confidence, self love and self care is SO important. I may not be 100kg but I do have a parent who is and has a heart condition. I really want him to get better as I love and trust him alot. Thank You so Much Joanna!
I just wanted to say I have been following some of your advice and I have lost and lost 40 pounds in 6 months this has also been helping me combat my eating disorder thank you so much it's been alot of help
I am 'previewing' this workout and I must say, it is THEE best, low impact for overweight beginners I have watched thus far. My fitness level has regressed so far, that even a 1/2 inch jump off the floor takes maximum effort. THIS workout is what I have been looking for to help me "Get in shape so I can get in shape". And yes, I mean it exactly that way. Thank you so much for this video.
After a recent health scare, I took the first step today and completed everything except burpees, but substituted with another one of the exercises. Day by day, step by step is my goal and completing burpees section is my ‘hurdle’ to overcome…I will get there! Thank you x
I was feeling very lethargic and crappy all evening.. I am obese and I kept being toxic towards myself, so for once I decided to actually get up and do something about it.. Completed the entire workout and haven't felt this good in a long time - thank you!
I’ve been doing this 5 times a week for 2 months now. I am 6’2 for 360 lbs. I decided to not weight as not to focus too much on losing weight or not, but I don’t tire so quickly anymore and feel a lot better mentally. Good luck for all the people out there like me trying to be healthier
Hi all.. i've been doing dis workout about 2 years + control my diet (not everyday.still got a cheat day 🤭🤭) = n i loss about 10kg. I found dis workout is much fun too.. tq joanna ❤❤
omg I did it!!! I have severe asthma and joint issues but I did it and didn't stop! I had to improvise with the step back lunges but yaaaay and I got in an hour on the treadmill and burned 350 calories! I feel so empowered, thank you soooo much, Joanna!
Hi Mia. I also feel I'll have issues with the lunge sections, but will modify to how I need it. Arthritis is not stopping me getting back to my former fitness.
Hi, I know you posted this comment over a year ago, but I was just wondering if you know how many calories you burned doing this workout? Trying to figure out my intake and outtake for calories and was looking for an average as I dont have a fitbit!
my starting weight is 265 my goal for this year to be to healthy. i knew i was out of shape but i didn't know the extent of it. I love the fact that you have these beginner overweight videos thank you thank you so much. please keep them coming.
guess now is the best time to start my weight loss journey with everything going on, i have no more excuse because i can’t leave the house. ty joanna !! im almost 300lbs and this was one of the best workouts i have tried, wasnt complicated or too difficult but it definitely worked
@@shevaschwartz That someone is rooting for me means more than you can know. I've struggled with this for a long time. Used it as my crutch not to live life.
I'm about 160 lbs (or less) but I'm 4'11. I've tried so many different workouts but am never able to finish any, this one however, i did! I'm so so so proud of myself. I literally love you so for putting this workout (for free) on youtube.
Omg! This is the best ever I’ve not had any exercise in past 8 months and was very weak. This got me going because it’s low impact and I feel so great that It got me started exercising again .
i finished this! yay! im not really overweight but a lazy bum who never exercises so apparently this workout with more intensity in squat, burpees, and punching seems to be a very good start. thanks a lot!
This is exactly what I have been looking for! I am at 250 pounds. I never really worked out and didn’t even know where to begin. These exercises are easy to do and to understand how to do effectively! Nothing felt impossible. But it really got me sweating and feeling active! I can easily seeing myself doing this every day. My goal is to get to a point where I am active every day, and this video is a perfect way of getting me to that point.
I'm 21 and I have arthrosis, and at the moment your channel is the one I visit the most, because I don't feel so much impact on my joints, very good. thank you. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
i love this workout, thank you joanna! i have been doing this workout for 1 month and i do it around 3-4 times a week, my weight was 105 kg and today i'm 100 kg!
Hi! Do you mind if i ask you some question like; did you also control your food, drink, sleep, stress, etc.. I'm also hoping you could give me some advice based from your experience if you don't mind to.. 😁 (sorry for my bad english) 🙏🏻
My goal is to lose 50lbs. After 5 years of depression from being sexually assaulted, I am ready to take back control of my life and get moving. Thank you, Joanna!
Wow, I really needed this! There's so many videos out there calling out fat people for not exercising while almost none that take said overweight into account when planning the physical activities. Thank you.
I have covid and honestly, this workout is a lifesaver. Obviously, I have to remember to pace myself, but I was getting so frustrated and irritable being cooped up in my room and not having enough energy to even workout
Thank you so much! 7 years ago, I lost 50 pounds. I was fit and healthy! I let life and stress get to me though, so now I have 90 pounds to lose to get to that point again. Other "beginner" workouts are too hard at this point and I burn myself out after a few days. I'm not a newbie to exercise though, so this is the PERFECT balance between challenging and attainable.
I was morbidly obese. I started this 3 weeks ago. I was 85kg. Today i weighed myself and i'm 75kg. I lost 10kg in 3 weeks with this workout and a low carb diet 💪🏾 keep it going guys. It works even if you're not 100+. And i actually love working out now. Initially did this because of my weight and asthma
I’m around 100 kg and started doing 4 days ago. My goal is to try to do the whole 20 mins daily if possible . Hopefully I won’t be lazy. Will be back to give an update of my weight next month. Edit : Doing 4-5 times per week (2sets), eat like how i normally eat, weight going up and down (ard 98-98.6/7) it’s a month btw. Think i have to cut down on carbs
i tried so many workouts and this is the first time i can actually finish one! Thank you so much for making this! i lost 20 kgs by dieting and i still have a lot more to lose so i decided to start working out :) p.s. the burpees were so hard hahah
Finally I found a workout gentle for us sedentary or overweight people. We usually lost motivation when we can’t accomplish goals. Thanks for this. Really 🥰
I just started today. I am currently 240 pounds and 5 foot 7. My goal is to lose 100 pounds over the next year. This workout was a perfect place for me to start with exercise.
Thank you I really needed this!!! It's been a few years since I've actually exercised and I tried high impact workouts recently and it was too much for me to start with and left me discouraged. Thank you for thinking of us who can't jump around right now! Lol
@@joannasohofficial really...ido all this bt in high intensity....so didnt do last week... My wt is 72kg...and in high intensity all workout are horrible... Thnx...ill cntinue by tomorrow. ..👍

I tried so many workouts but most of them were too hard for me because I'm so overweight. It was really frustrating. I'm so grateful now that I found this channel, I love this workout. I will do it every day. Thank you ❤️(sorry my English is not so well, I'm from Germany 🇩🇪)
Yes thanks. another easy but effective excercise for me... i followed you since i decide to lose weight and every tips you gave i do it.. and yes after 1 month i lose 8 kilos from 86kilos to 78kilos now and still losing weight just doing every excercise you share and eat healthy.. thank you and God bless
I was 399 a few months ago, I am not at around 375-380. My goal for the end of the year is to get to around 345-350. I have been going to the gym/working out at home for the past two weeks and I feel so proud of myself. I tried your videos earlier in the year but gave up on my journey, I plan to do this everyday. It's so simple to follow and you're so good at motivating me lol good job
I started this workout last May 31, I am 5'2 and 67 kg. Hope to loose some weight, man! Keep going, folks. update: June 17: I already lost 2 kilos, this week I start this with my mom and I move easier as I get used to the routine. so, keep moving guys! we can do this!! July 15: I stopped doing this after 2 weeks and moved to another workout of Joanna, my body feel stronger and healthier. This video really start up my fitness journey! Thanks a lot, Joanna!
Thank you so much for this video😘😘😘😘. I am not very fit and I find the intermediate exercises a little difficult. I also have a problem with my knees but these exercises were very easy to follow and I actually did them instead of just watching you do them 😂 I hope you make more exercise videos like this one 🤗🙂
I was doing this workout 4 years ago, lost 12kgs and now i am back at again .I let go and added again .Good thing I never forgot your name .Most convenient workout especially for overweight people
Im 106 right know and i want to lose as much weight as i can ( in a healthy way ) this year. I was never slim or anything but i really want to see my self slim and healthy as soon as possible :)
I’m new to working out and it’s been especially hard after I had my son and I put a lot of weight on. My mom also recently passed and I was comfort eating a lot so I just started watching your videos and I’m so excited to get in shape. I want to be healthy for myself and my son.
Last year I battled cancer and decided this is my year to battle obesity and diabetes and I am doing just that already off one insulin and 60lbs down come on guys lets get healthy together... We are worth it ....
I never comment on anything but this workout is TOO GOOD!! I'm actually quite slim so people just assume I'm fit, but in reality I haven't moved in forever... This workout got my heart racing and my body sweating. The kind and motivational words Joanna was saying really got me through it and I will definitely do this more often. Thank you!
I'm 13, 175cm, 87 kg 1st day, may 9th: did whole exercise before breakfast, before lunch and before sleep. This is my first time doing this. See ya tomorrow Update: October 19th 2020: I continued for a month after that, trying to maintain a healthy life. I lost 4 kg during that time. But, something like depression got to me and I didn't continue after that. I lost my will to live, so I just continue existing haha lol. This happened mainly because i didn't get actual support from my mom (she kept buying unhealthy stuff and that was the only thing that we had in the fridge. Now I almost don't eat at all (not because I'm trying to lose weight, I just don't want to/too lazy to eat). So yeah, sorry if anyone thought it's gonna be a cool update, I fucking failed😜😼😎 Edit: btw don't worry guys, I'm okay :D
I've bene doing these exercises almost everyday from August 2020, and I've lost 17 kg since(from 94kg to 78). I've never exercised before and these ones were so easy to do!! Thank you Joanna because you were a great help and motivation for my weight loss journey!! All the other video were too difficult, but I could follow this very easily ;)

I know this is an old video at this point, but it’s still relevant even today. I slipped and fell a year ago and had a herniated disc that was so bad that I was in physical therapy for 8 months. I’m only in my 20s and it took me so long to fully recover. I gained 70 lb over the course of that time because I went from being a runner to being bedridden but my appetite didn’t get the memo. All of the workouts for weight loss that my pt gave me are really meant for people who are more physically fit. It’s been hard to accept that I’m no longer physically capable of doing the things that o used to do. I don’t even want to go to my old gym because I feel awkward being around the people I used to work out with but so much heavier. This is amazing. I do this at home. Usually I do this where nobody can see, and when I feel especially self conscious I just close the blinds and keep going. Thank you for giving me the confidence to try to be my old self again.
Her workout is simple but tough enough for someone my size to actually feel the workout working. If that makes sense lol she is very descriptive also. I really like this and am starting today. Definitely have a new subscriber ❤
I'm a 13 yrs old girl trying to lose weight. I'm really overweight and it's my goal to lose 10kgs. Pray for me, Insh'Allah I'll make it. I just started this workout 3 days ago and after the workout I feel really sweaty and my sweat drips too much so I think it's affecting. Insh'Allah I'll make it a habit but my real struggle is to saying "NO" to fast food, deep fried food, junk food. 😩😣 Insh'Allah, I'll try my best to minimize eating these types of food. If you relate then reply me back :)
I love this workout. The only thing I hate is the intro of saying you're overweight and you've never worked out... that's not the case for everyone. Some people may have mobile disabilities and even if this was the case for some, that might not be the first thing they want to hear at the beginning of the workout. As far as the workout itself, I LOVE IT. I have 3 different types of arthritis and this gets my cardio workout DONE with minimal pain. I am so grateful I came across this video. The breaks between each movement is a life saver for me to rest my body in between.
I started Keto on January 2nd & I'm down 54 pounds & I'm stuck. I'm so glad I found you! Please continue to do these videos for the overweight. I need these to help me reach my goal of losing 100 pounds! Thank you so much for this video.
@@ronachten2902 I do actually! Just finished working out few hours ago, my diet is good and just ordered a trampoline to spice it up and get muscle strenght , super feeling it!
@@BigbangG5 I need to get moving. I am at my all time highest weight, 306 pounds.... really having an effect on my quality of life. You are setting a good example for those of us who feel stuck.
@@ronachten2902 I am so so happy that you feel that way. There are hard times and easier time. I get anxious and feel stuck too, today for example I had so much anxiety I couldn't leave the house because I was too angry with myself.. It's hard, mentally especially but we got it !! We can do it , all of us together ! The biggest battle of all is winning over our minds to treat us right , that's the hardest obsticle in this whole thing. We need to change our mentality from,, wherever our weight goes our mind follows '' to ,, wherever our mind goes our weight follows ''
Some of these I cannot do in rythim. I cant balance my hands and my leg at once but Man this got me sweated. additionaly it is my forst doing and I feel like all my neck problems gone and I am much more easily carying my head like my bone structure healing it self. I will hopefully do this from now on. currently 138kg I will go with this until I am not satisfied and go to harder workouts. let's see where this will take us thank you a lot. edit:1 btw My body is not that fatty so I can do it easier. Dont think you are a loser if you can do it. Just start somewhere.
Last time I tried to lose weight I failed. I just got back to doing it. It'll be my 3rd time trying. I looked over my mistakes and found out I stopped those times because I exercised every day for 30+ minutes and only gave myself 1 day to take a break. Now, that to me seemed good for me, but because I'm a beginner it wasn't. This time i'm gonna try to do it 3 times a week and hopefully this sticks. Along with portion control and way more veggies and fruit (which I do love). I also went full force at portion control and didn't go slowly. I wish I analyzed these things during my journey. The first time, I lost 13 lbs but gained it back. Since I still do want some chub, my goal is 195, or hell, 200 even. (I'd say 185 at the least. I'll see when I get there). I'm going to be taking baby steps and making small goals first. It's my choice, yes, I am aware 195 is still overweight. But I don't want to be skinny. I prefer myself with (some) chunk, lol. Advice for people trying to lose weight: DO NOT FOCUS ON THE WHOLE GOAL ITSELF. Say you're 240 and want to be 170. Don't focus on 170. Try to aim a safe amount of lbs a month or week. It is FAR LESS stressful. Since it is the holidays and we tend to overeat more so around now, you can eat more on Holidays/Special occasions, as long as you get right back to your schedule. I may update, I'm not sure. I am currently am 234 and 5'2. I know I got this, I just have to start slow. That is the mistake I made which made me fall out of weight loss those times.
Hello , I'm sure I'm not the only one under 100kg doing this workout and it sure is amazing ! I'm really unfit ,23y but with heart issues and Basedow - Graves and I used to feel really ashamed for not keeping up with other workouts but now i'm way more confident I will get there some day .Thank you sooooooo much !
Thank you for this workout. My goal for this year is to shed 30lbs and be able to jog 5k. This will definitely help as it is realistic so I can follow to the end. As I get stronger, I'll take the advice and add more reps.
I love it. You are the best
i hve been Doing this Workout for 1 months "everyday" .. i lost 6kg . realy cool workout i think ...
That's awesome!
Great to hear that !
@@NuvusPhobia you got me motivated thanks... my goal is 5kg in 1 month...
This can be also great for people with respiratory problems, like asthma, to get back into a fitness routine after you haven't been ok for a bit.
That's so true!!! =)
That's me! lol I've been having respiratory problems the past couple months and have been too discouraged to start exercising because of it. I'm hoping this exercise is nice on my lungs! (I'm also overweight)
I’m overweight and I have bad asthma. Normally I can’t do workouts either because my body just can’t take it or my lungs can’t. I’ll def have to try this!
I have heart murmur and asthma. This workout helps me a lot lol

I’m 23 and I weigh 240 pounds, today was my first day doing exercise, I hope this time my depression don’t make feel like it’s useless to even try to lose weight, thanks for the workout routine.
I'm with you sis

Stay blessed dear..❤️😊
How is she doing? Did she lost more?
If you go to this area you should, with a little effort find a motivational speaker. That is someone who can explain how to stay motivated.

God bless you and your family.. No worries she ll be slim and fit soon.. She will b with till ur last... God bless u

Hey! We all need to start somewhere. =) Hence, I always say that we shouldn't compare ourselves to someone who has been staying active for many years.

Great job!! Was wondering what kind of diet do you have?
@@majsdz Hey, I didn't go on a specific diet. I just sticked to healthy food I like, I ate less and less and it came naturally for me. If you want to go on a diet, I would just suggest that you don't go on a strict diet you cannot stick to. Ofc. I had pancakes like after a month, but everything in moderation and you should be good ;-)

@@karensameh773 A little! :D not much lol! 2 months in and im still working on it =)
Day 1: I started.

I started doing this workout around june and in the first week of doing this everyday, I felt a little bit stronger by the end of the week. I fell off for a bit and got back to it and went back and forth for awhile. But even doing this and changing my diet, I managed to lose 30lbs. I also started intermittent fasting from april! i tried so many workouts and this is the first time i can actually finish one! Thank you so much for making this!
i lost 20 kgs by dieting and i still have a lot more to lose so i decided to start working out :)
p.s. the burpees were so hard hahah
giulseo my burpee is more like downdog in yoga 😂😂
Yeah me too..this is the first workout completed till the end..😁😁
You are awesome. I do this exercise daily with you for the past few months. I am physician and recommend it to my patients who have knee problems

Lol
Happy to know that this video suits you!! Keep doing it and keep me updated. =)

Simply thank you, Joanna. I am 65 years old and overweight and this is my go to workout. You are an angel for making it. Blessings.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm overweight and this workout looks doable. I'm going to have a go and let you know if it has made a difference.
Did it make a difference for you?? Did you lost weight?
I started this workout last May 31, I am 5'2 and 67 kg. Hope to loose some weight, man! Keep going, folks.
update:
June 17: I already lost 2 kilos, this week I start this with my mom and I move easier as I get used to the routine. so, keep moving guys! we can do this!!
I also have a problem with my knees but these exercises were very easy to follow and I actually did them instead of just watching you do them 😂
I hope you make more exercise videos like this one 🤗🙂
Haha!!!!! That's so good to know. So I'm not the only one puffing away, LOL!!! I hope you'll continue doing it and progress with it. =)
lol so i am not the only one who watches her do the normal exercise because it is a bit difficult for me, and who could do the ones in this video.
Your encouragement in the beginning made me cry and today I was able to do half but I hope tomorrow I can do it all!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so happy to find a video that's ACTUALLY for beginners. I'm starting from zero.
I’m new to working out and it’s been especially hard after I had my son and I put a lot of weight on. My mom also recently passed and I was comfort eating a lot so I just started watching your videos and I’m so excited to get in shape. I want to be healthy for myself and my son.
Sorry for your loss ❤😥 and well done
Last year I battled cancer and decided this is my year to battle obesity and diabetes and I am doing just that already off one insulin and 60lbs down come on guys lets get healthy together... We are worth it ....
I never comment on anything but this workout is TOO GOOD!! I'm actually quite slim so people just assume I'm fit, but in reality I haven't moved in forever... This workout got my heart racing and my body sweating. The kind and motivational words Joanna was saying really got me through it and I will definitely do this more often. Thank you!
I'm 13, 175cm, 87 kg
1st day, may 9th: did whole exercise before breakfast, before lunch and before sleep. This is my first time doing this.
See ya tomorrow
Update: October 19th 2020:
I continued for a month after that, trying to maintain a healthy life.
So yeah, sorry if anyone thought it's gonna be a cool update, I fucking failed😜😼😎
Edit: btw don't worry guys, I'm okay :D
hey you got an update?
:/ update?
Finally, good cardio exercises for my knee trauma which still lets me move quite a lot but I can't jump or squat so this is perfect. Thank you!

Insh'Allah, I'll try my best to minimize eating these types of food.
If you relate then reply me back :)
Wow, amazing, applause for you, i am starting because of your comment, make me fire, thank you, keep it good work
@@sriwulandari5819 me too. I have lost 10kg plus diet with this daliy workout🥺
Start weight: 83 kg
Day 7: 81 kg
Goal weight: 65 kg
This is my first day, I can finish the whole video. Will update the progress in 1 week.
How is your update right now?
@@muhammadgelar9319 currently 80 kg, still stuck :(
Update?
Diet or without diet
I'm 220 pounds and in my early 20's . I gained this much in a year when I was 140.. I'm excited to start this today! I love your energy !!!
You can do it!
Making good progress, I hope?
Finally a video I CAN ACTUALLY KEEP UP WITH! Thank you!
