Sharing my progress here. I'm a woman in my late 20s, starting from 75kg with 164 cm height. I aim to walk at least 15K steps in a day, However I do this workout a lot especially when I can't. walk outside. I eat around 1600-1700 calories a day. Move at least 15K steps, do 20 mins strength training 3 times a week, and reduce a lot of sugar from my consumption. On week 4:= I lost 2kg since the beginning, Clothes starting to FIT again when I could not even put it on back then. But most importantly, I'm much stronger now. I don't have much craving now. I eat better and rest better. Trust the progress guys. Just find the joy of improving every single day, no matter how tiny it is. Don't alawys focus on numbers especially your weight. What's important is how your body feel. Slowly getting faster, stronger, more energized. healthier then the physical aspect will follow. Good luck everyone!
Thanks a lot for sharing this. I'm also currently in this situation. I'm always fixated on the numbers on the scale, and it stresses me out. Reading your comment gives me hope!
I've gained so much weight since the pandemic. I wanna be fit and healthy again. I'm on day one! Please like to remind me that i need to do this everyday
I've lost a lot of weight by doing this workout for the past 45 days. I'm one of those people who does not like to exercise and has stubborn fat in my body. I've lost 10 kgs by doing this and I controlled my diet and my weight automatically came down. This video is just awesome and it works brilliantly
I didn't want to be one of those people who start doing the exercise on the 1st day and go missing on the next day with no updates at all. So, I decided to get the result and share it here. I started this exercise on 1st of March(71kg) and did it every day for about 6 weeks. On 17th of April my weight was 65kg. I don't skip my meals but I made sure I consumed less than 1500 calories per day. I kept myself hydrated and most important of all, don't get stressed over your weight. Keep doing your exercise and have fun. Now(26th May), my weight is 66.5kg because I didn't exercise at all and have been eating a lot of junk food since I started going back to work. I started this workout again today and I know I will be able lose more weight, at least a kg or two in 3 weeks. See, all you need is a bit of motivation. I promise you, YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Hey so for an occasional twist, I love turning the volume off and playing my own music to this. I’ve found it fits with almost any music I have on! I love challenging myself to do the moves while incorporating dance movements(basically turning all the moves into its own dance. And it’s different every time :) At first it was just to get my arms moving, but now that I have so much fun with this, this video has become something I look forward to daily! This is actually my favorite fitness video and I watch it often. Just wanted to leave a fun suggestion for those that would enjoy it. Have a wonderful day everyone! 😊✨
This is the first exercise video that i didn't cut or skip..i did all the 30 mint exercise and i m sweating like hell but feeling great at the same time..feeling proud of myself..thank you for your motivating talks in between the exercises that really kept pushing me forward.
Enn Vee Hi Enn. I tracked my steps and I wondered if anyone was fooled into thinking they did 10,000. I did speed up and didn’t get close. But I love everything else. She is very encouraging for everyone. Since I am stuck inside I will keep using this video.

I never thought I would be able to accomplish this challenge. I am 63 years old and I decided to watch my diet and start exercising. I'm so proud of myself, I did it all. This will be my daily workout + another 20 minutes for other exercises. Thank you for your good work.

@@thisislorn That's right.. You cannot do 10000 steps in 30mins, its just not possible. But if you do this 2 times then it's done. I am able to do 13000-14000 steps a day and this has helped me to lose weight with some normal diet

Thank you! I have been really depressed lately and not feeling like doing any of the heavy workouts I used to do... I've gained weight and lost perspective. This seems like the perfect way to get back on track. Thank you again so much for the incredible work you have been doing all these years. God bless! Edit: it’s been a rough year for everyone, I believe, and I had a lot of ups and downs. When I was starting to get consistent I started having panic attacks. After that, I couldn’t do a workout without having one (I think because I was so scared of not being able to catch my breath). It’s been roughly 6 months now and I still take medication for it, but I’m doing better with the exercises and I still managed to lose some fat and build some muscle, even through it all! So, if you’re struggling, you’re not alone! Give yourself lots of grace and take heart! Cheering for y’all ☺️
I love Joanna so much. So cheerful, vibrant & motivating. ❤😊 My mom was saying if one has a bad mood just seeing Joanna and doing this workout is enough to make her happy.😄
I have lost 10kg in 50 days by just running in circle in my room. Min 10k steps everyday and no strict diet, only skipped taking rice. Magical result. You can double up the result by combining with zumba and workout as well.. but basically i have lost 10kg with running and skipped rice 👍👍👍 in 50 days.
Yay, well done, HEMI! I'm looking to lose about 7 or 8kg. I work at my computer all day, so struggle to get 10k steps in most days, but I do what I can.

Guys! If you actually want to reach 10.000 steps, go out for a 5 kilometer (or 3.1 mile) walk every day, I used to go before Covid and I always hit the 10.000 mark right as I got home. It's nice to get some fresh air, see the nature if you live by a park, and to give your mind some rest. Good luck!
We can't all go outside due to inclement weather... this type of video is an alternative. Thanks for giving the equivalent miles for when we can go out though...
@@sheri8048 No excuses, use a raincoat, boots and an umbrella! 😉 On a real note, in rainy weather you'll have to repeat this video a few times to reach 10k steps but I'd recommend going outside even if the weather isn't the best. It's worth it y'all. Good luck
This workout is not only about walking, it also works on your upper body, your core which you can’t really get from just walking, just see how many movements she demonstrated! I know what you mean about fresh air but for some people they can’t really do it due to some reasons!!
@@monicahou8162 I feel you, but I didn't say you shouldn't do this workout, I said if you want to reach 10.000 steps, go for a 5km walk. Walking is as much of a good workout as the video, it's really recommended to do it every day if you're thinking of not only weight loss, but general health as well like preventing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, etc. And I think people absolutely can do it, using corona as an excuse isn't really valid (unless you're in the high risk group) because you can put on a mask and even a face shield and go for a walk on a path that isn't busy, if the situation in your country is very bad. We all still go to work, school, the store, etc. so taking a walk isn't the end of the world - in fact, it's probably safer than those things if you're walking on secluded paths. :) I've been taking my dog out 3x a day and corona never stopped me. And guess what, I never caught it because I'm careful - I wear a mask outside and wash my hands and my pup's paws first thing when I get home. So, don't discourage people from doing something good for their bodies! :)
The workouts designed by Joanna are too good, scientific and practical. I wish I should have known about her videos much earlier. All contents of workouts and diet tips are helpful

I've had 2 loved ones tell me that my 5 year old daughter is getting fat. Like me when i was in my best shape she has a very stocky build and very curvy, especially for a 5 year old! I was very active in sports (shot put and weight lifting were my favorite) I'd like what i saw in the mirror but would be disappointed that my efforts didnt make me look like the super skinny girls i went to school with. After being told i'm fat on a regular from age 6 to 16 i gave up. I stopped sports and ate what i wanted to, then i really got fat. Now I'm seeing a repeat pattern in my daughter and I cant stand the thought of her feeling the way i did growing up, so i'm making the change in me to be a better example for my kids! Today was day 1 and i have a lllloooooonnnnngg way to go, but it will be worth it! Thank you Joanna Soh for your workout vids and food tips!

(I will be logging in with my weight every 10 days✨) Day 1: 71.1kg update: actually I didn't do but today i started again and I promise to not give up and update u
This is an awsome workout for beginners and especially for the people who are suffering from depression. I had depression and this workout really helped me through it. I did this for 2 weeks without a diet and i lost 2kg. Then i started doing other sets of workouts along with this in the morning and i followed a proper diet. Since i was sensitive to carbs my carbs intake was very low. I was able to lose 10kg by 3 weeks. Do not give up. It'll be hard first to keep your track. But its gonna be awsome.
@@hla1953 well my starting weight was 76kg and i was overweight. So i did twice a day before breakfast and before dinner( but don't take your meal right after the workout). Then for about 3 to 2 weeks i started getting strong. I added cloe tings workouts as well ( didn't follow her program exactly though). It will be hard at first. You might not be able to stick to a strict diet. But keep going on for about 2 months. Then ull get used to it. If u are sensitive to carbohydrates take a really low amount of carbohydrates.( my diet includes 80% protein, 10% fat and 10% carbohydrates. This helps me reduce an average of 350g per day. ) for u to gain self control with food try eating the carbs or fats ( according to ur body type check what u are sensitive to the most. I am sensitive to sugar and carbs. Joanna soh has a separate video for that as well) And check ur weight the next day it might have a tremendous change( usually when i eat a small piece of cake i gain about 1kg the next day) check your weight after you empty your stomach in the morning. Do not worry. You can do this.
@Hla im still overweight so i am still continuing. I did this 10000 step, cloe ting full body shred(summer shred challenge), cloe ting shredded abs (summer shred challenge), i did cloe tings warm ups. Then for the cool down i did hi tiffany's how i got taller with stretches. Rn im still trying to fully do cloe tings workouts and exploring more to do. Your first aim should be shedding the fat. Then go to shaping ur body. Definitely do this 10000 step workout this is the key workout that helped me with everything. Don't worry u can do this
I was just going to leave a comment saying, that there is no way this video is 10,000 steps. You can't do that in 30 mins. So Idk why the title says that 🤔
its my day 2 of doing this workout. yesterday could do only for 15 mins. today i did it full. I'm currently 85 and i had a nice time of doing this. it was intense. 🙌
Today is the second time that i followed this exercises and i love it. It is a real challenge and think it will be my favorite. And i am fasting at the moment, so if somebody thinks that it will be difficult during the ramadan, i can say try it. At least you can do just the first 15 min. and you already have stept 2000 steps.
After searching for good exercise which can be done at home during lockdown, I have come across this 30 minutes exercise which is perfectly suitable for me. It is very good and very easy to do fat burning exercise which can be done by people of all age groups throughout the year and keep themselves fit and fine. Thanks to Joanna Soh and team.
honestly this was actually so fun and easy to do, i am definitely considering doing it twice a day because those 30 minutes went by so fast and i never say that about any workout haha
When I first saw this video I was like “ woman please stop talking for a second!!” ..but when I started working out along with her I was like “thanks for making the time pass quickly 💕”
I must be weird. Whenever I look for new workout videos I always mute it. And if I pick it I leave it muted and work out in complete silence (it's a little after 5am when I start). I only unmute it when it's a video working with weights and I end up turning my head a way that stops me from seeing what they're doing

What do you eat a day?
Did u complete full 30 day challenge?? What’s the result?
Thanks a lot for sharing this. I'm also currently in this situation. I'm always fixated on the numbers on the scale, and it stresses me out. Reading your comment gives me hope!

I've been taking my dog out 3x a day and corona never stopped me. And guess what, I never caught it because I'm careful - I wear a mask outside and wash my hands and my pup's paws first thing when I get home. So, don't discourage people from doing something good for their bodies! :)

Good Luck!!
The workouts designed by Joanna are too good, scientific and practical. I wish I should have known about her videos much earlier. All contents of workouts and diet tips are helpful
True
But plunks lives my and crying
Nothing to worry dear . Because you found her now .So keep going and update later about your weight loss journey. I don't know who is waiting for your feedback, But damn sure I am waiting. I am from Bangladesh and My age is 15
I wish Joanna had more routine as this one, I'm 72 years old I can follow her on this one, but her others one are too risky for me I I alternate with Leslie Sansone routine. With jogging in my garden I do my 5km daily, at least 5 times a week.
@Muriel Romain pahla b fitness has great low impact workouts she has lots of walking with light weight or no weights workouts. you should check her channel out. i love her workouts when i am feeling sore.
You are inspiring!!!
Wow, that's so impressive! Please keep up the good work. Especially now it is very important to stay healthy and fit. Thank you for being so inspiring:)
You’re inspiring!! 😊
Love u joanna, i wish i be as young as u at 72👍
I'm 53 and 10 kg overweight. I am happy I was able to finish this workout. The steps are easy to follow. Love this.
I’m so proud of myself. I weigh 16st, I’ve had knee problems and I’ve increased my stamina so, for the first time, I was able to do this workout twice back to back. This may not seem impressive but I’m proud of myself. Thank you. ❤️
I found this lady by accident and I'm so glad I did! Engaging and fun and I cant wait to start tomorrow! Well done to everyone who has posted on here, your success stories have impressed me and I hope you are all doing well.
N do u still make dis workout? N i hope u are happier than before ❤️

This workout is perfect for me. Ever since my hysterectomy I can't run, jump or plank. I'm loving this one. Thanks!
Going to do this because usually I hit 10k steps every day from walking outside but I’ve been depressed lately & stayed home a lot. And movement feels good so let me take u guys with me!!

I just started this today! I‘m doing my 10K - 20K steps daily since I got diagnosed with a Tarlov Cyst and Pudendal Neuralgia. I had a surgery back in February and wasn’t really able to do any training and now I tried this. It‘s great! Absolutely amazing and I feel so GOOD afterwards! THANK YOU!

U better update us smh
KEEP GOING JUST BECAUSE YOU STOPPED DOESNT MEAN YOU CANT START AGAIN!!!
u good?
Heyy hows it going now?
Any results
This is an awsome workout for beginners and especially for the people who are suffering from depression. I had depression and this workout really helped me through it. I did this for 2 weeks without a diet and i lost 2kg. Then i started doing other sets of workouts along with this in the morning and i followed a proper diet. Since i was sensitive to carbs my carbs intake was very low. I was able to lose 10kg by 3 weeks. Do not give up. It'll be hard first to keep your track. But its gonna be awsome.
how many times did u do it in the day ??
did u have a restrictive diet ??
@@kavidiss7959 can u temme on the other workouts that u used to do ??
@Hla im still overweight so i am still continuing. I did this 10000 step, cloe ting full body shred(summer shred challenge), cloe ting shredded abs (summer shred challenge), i did cloe tings warm ups. Then for the cool down i did hi tiffany's how i got taller with stretches. Rn im still trying to fully do cloe tings workouts and exploring more to do. Your first aim should be shedding the fat. Then go to shaping ur body. Definitely do this 10000 step workout this is the key workout that helped me with everything. Don't worry u can do this
@@kavidiss7959 thank you so much for your update, I’m the same starting weight you were and trying to lose the last 10kg. You’ve inspired me ♥️
The best workout even. Just started this today and can definitely say I need this especially the 30 seconds cardio OMG
My smartwatch count around 3,000 steps on this entire video, gonna have to triplicate it every day to do 9k-10k a day! Thanks for the vibe ☺️
I was just going to leave a comment saying, that there is no way this video is 10,000 steps. You can't do that in 30 mins. So Idk why the title says that 🤔
Seeing everyone’s weight loss results I’m giving this a go.

I only now discovered Joanna and man this is a fun workout. Got me sweating without the need for anything complex. Will definitely do more of this.

Perfect to alleviate Anxiety & Depression elevated by being Quarantined because of Corona Virus..thank you!!
Wow... awesome
Lol you R weird 😂.. a minute of silence feels like an hour to me!
@@halimaassi8979 i think thats the case for me too. Seriously though, when the trainer talks it makes the workout feel shorter.
Damn not for me
I do the same sometimes depending on my mood 😂 🔇
I’m planning on doing this everyday and want to keep myself accountable. I will weigh in every 2-3 days and share my progress.
Starting weight: 67 kg
Goal weigh: 57kg
Day 1: 6500 steps (didn’t change diet-breastfeeding)
Day 2: 9299 steps
Day 3: 10912 steps (tried to avoid sugar)
Day 4:10806 steps (weigh in 66.4 kg)
Day 5: 10033
Day 6: 10053
Day7: 17863 steps!!
Week 2: walked just above 10k everyday
Day 14: 65.2 kg (no change in diet)
Month later: walked everyday
Weight is 65kg ( eat whatever I want), however my body has changed DRAMATICALLY, I feel much more toned and my old clothes fit me again…I actually don’t know how that’s possible as I’m still 7 kg heavier than pre pregnancy. I’m going to start taking measurements and do this for another month….I feel great and confident in my clothes again even though I didn’t lose that much weight
