Met one of Cliff's cousins in Roseville Ca. about 30 years ago. Was walking down the hall in their house and realized the photos on the walls were of him and Cliff. It blew my mind when I asked he said "Yip he's my cousin." Such a small world. We all still miss him.

I just discovered him about 2 months ago and now he's a legend in my eyes. Discovered him watching his hair flow like a spirit on For Whom the Bell Tolls (day on the green). There's only so much work with Metallica to see him in but it's so extraordinary and special. Those lines that are used in To Live is to Die always make me emotional now and knowing he has it on his tombstone. Reading about how he committed himself to 6 hours of bass a day when his brother died. He's a legend and I won't forget him. Hope he can teach me the bass one day lol respect bro.

I’d have to say seeing Metallica open up for Ozzy on that last tour with Cliff in ‘86 was probably one of the most memorable moments in my lifetime as a concert goer.
I can still see him flailing his long hair around while wearing a Jean jacket and bell bottom Levi’s draped down keeping everything held down and tight within the band.

Poor kirk. I just can't feel what he feels. I just can imagine that you lose a card game and your friend/bandmate dies because of that.
