I’d have to say seeing Metallica open up for Ozzy on that last tour with Cliff in ‘86 was probably one of the most memorable moments in my lifetime as a concert goer. I can still see him flailing his long hair around while wearing a Jean jacket and bell bottom Levi’s draped down keeping everything held down and tight within the band. You couldn’t miss him on stage. They (Metallica) really left an impression on you. 36 years gone, never to be the same.
When the friendship and love between "brothers" that we have lost is true, everything that appears over the years that makes us remember the good times gone by is a unique feeling. We all have this example.. It's a pain that will only pass on the day we all meet again... I believe that.....
Cliff was a beast can only wonder there direction if he was still here today.a musician with originality and played from feeling not mimicking others ,one of the greats on the bass.
