So, this version has no Cyberverse footage and a link to where you can watch the episodes officially, and hopefully that'll appease them.

Lots of good ideas for what part of Starscream the clone version of Slipstream represents, but I believe that she is supposed to represent his traitorous side. Without cowardice, self-importance or lying, she was able to take over as Decepticon air commander, something Starscream could never do.
This kinda shows what I love about Transformers to this day, how awesome and/or interesting characters like her are fully utilized in new canon in some way or another eventually after being introduced rather than just leaving characters like her in the dust.

Now, it could just be a Thundercracker animation error since he already became Scourge at this point, but that color scheme seems fit Slipstream well.

As I noted in a pinned comment before I had to reupload this video, yes, they're both purple and teal, but the pair's colour layouts don't actually match (Ramjet is really purple and BLACK, with teal accents) while all the other Animated Seekers colours very precisely do match their G1 counterpart. I've never understood the Overlord inspiration myself (he's got teal shins, that's about it!) but it comes straight from the mouth of Animated's character designer.
