Yes they are. I just got scammed by Alaska airlines for $879 but I gave their number to my friend Genesis Floods and he flooded them until their number went down.

If you reaching out and changing the lives of people like the “brothers” and their village means that along the way you reach out to someone else and get “scammed” for $100 then I would still call that a win. You’re doing great things for people and giving them hope! ❤️

Ben, you have the heart of a real humanitarian. I am so impressed by how you were able to flip a few hundred dollars into real change for those people. A lot of people turn to crime because they feel they don’t have any other choice. People like you give them a choice.
Such a beautiful story I'm so glad you and others were able to help these people, its not about being horrible people its about being in horrible situations, you helped them find a better path... its just a shame that path always needs money to begin

You're doing great work to help people in need, especially those who really want to change their lives and lift their communities.
But I guess this is a wake-up call that you might need to be a bit more careful to make sure the help is going to the right people and not into the pocket of scammers.
Exactly what I think everytime I see these videos.
Theres a reason they're called Con Artists.. I can't help but think him buying into a con is just part of a larger con.
Pay some kids $10 to make it look like they're building a house after receiving $1000, and pocket the $950.
Trouble is he helps one scammer and another one just comes along and takes his place…
Scamming continues and will continue until corrupt police and governments get off their fat arses and actually do something to stop them….
Come on PG isnt naive.... he is here to make entertaining content

I dont know how to put into words how I feel. Maybe a little shocked at how open minded you was in this video and almost put yourself in a vulnerable place to be honest with your viewers. Ive always loved watching your videos and the way you go about dealing with scammers. And now I just love it more.

His first name isn’t Ben, it’s just an alias that he uses.
His first name is really Benjamin. So yes ben is his real name. The Dover is the part that is fake.

I don’t think he’d risk his life. They would know it’s him as soon as he packed up and left.
I think it shows that even a knowledgeable person is at risk of being scammed when they are caring as you are.

Been there. A couple of times being kind. I did help a few people but in the end they just more. I'm not rich but I don't appreciate being lied to, to get sympathy. Honesty goes alot further with me.
Ben over the past year you and your stories have been a positive light into the darkness of the world. I feel I have gotten to know a friend that stops in to share their life 10 minutes at a time. I absolutely love the update on the brothers! Getting occasional updates about them would be awesome! Honestly, if you sold Funko's, I would buy one. You should look into Heifer International. Great charity that provides animals to communities that need them. Maybe you could help get the village the brothers live in some hens or dairy cows or something?

Good on you making a follow up video. When I watched the original video, I thought it was pretty obvious the whole thing was a scam. I was more than a little surprised you sent the guy money. I guess your kindness may have gotten the best of you.
Besides the video where everybody was saying they appreciate Ben Dover that got me laughing, I really appreciate what this man is doing. I always find it funny to take my phone after a long day and watch videos by him and other content creators such as Pierogi.

We've all probably gotten scammed at one point or another. Hopefully with some of the info on your channel Ben....we can avoid it in the future. Did you get scammed? Don't have to answer that....cause it doesn't matter. Just reminds us all to keep on it and stop these scammers and if we can point them in a better way....provided they want to, go for it.
come to think of it, they are crying out to to be loved, liked and above all trusted as they are just as human as we are. this is for those that have done away with scamming, i applaud them and i pray they continue to walk the straight and narrow!

The moment he decided to "confess," I knew it was a new type of scam. I even almost commented that on the video, What if this is a new type? One where they give a sob story to gain sympathy from people that are on to them, in order to get money anyway. When he kept repeating wanting to go to school and be a doctor, that was the nail in the coffin for me. I was totally expecting the video to be about how you saw straight through that.
