    I actually thought that part of the city has been long abandoned by the Govt. But seeing this is really delightful. I pray they will be able to finish the project on time thumbs up.

      Lol where have you been to in Lagos? Even Kano or Kaduna has a three level bridge😂 (just so you understand, it's like an under pass and then an over pass and then there is another bridge above. Three layers of roads) that's nothing compared to the bridge network in Lagos though if only you know places. If not for road signs many drivers will miss their ways, if you miss a turn you're on your way to another place entirely😂

    No gawk yourselves. Even 3rd mainland is free nowadays and IT IS BECAUSE PETROL IS VERY FKING EXPENSIVE.
    I used to leave my house around 05:00am from iyana ipaja, now i leave at 06:30am and get to Ikoyi before 8am. Same road but vehicular density has reduced immensely

    With the increased development of this city, it is predicted that renting or buying/building homes will only attract middle to high income earners mostly. Original owners of properties will sell their homes in Lagos and relocate to others states with cheaper land and build. In that way, the population of Lagos will be stable and security will improve as residents will be more committed to a safer environment.

      Na wetin I dey try let am know. Fuel wey before I dey use 22,000 buy full tank for one week, NOW na almost 75k
      I don sell one of my cars, and the other one I no dey drive except on weekends. Na BRT and Korope.

      Do you need a translator? Size is determined by landmass and population. Russia is the largest country yet Nigeria is larger than Russia. An educated person will understand that easily.

      By the way Russia is not half the size of Africa cos Africa is way larger than the way it's been depicted on the map which means Africa and African countries are bigger than they appear on maps.

    Great content chief.. I just hope this same government can put some basic things/rules into place. One of em is ROAD MARKINGS! Another is this disgusting thing of seeing vehicles be it bikes or cars driving one way (against traffic). Another is the annoying habit of stopping on the high way to pick up passengers meanwhile the service lane is there for that purpose.

    Traffic in Lagos these days is affected by Fuel price - reduce fuel cost & go film traffic again. I would argue the Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway is highly ambitious.

    Traffic was going in both directions, but I guess you guys are use to that. Will they but lane markings on the road? Lagos should build wider sidewalks so maybe people will not walk in the streets. But nice road, I like watching Nigeria’s growth

    Do you ply the road daily? fuel scarcity made it free. Your video stopped at iyana iba and you are saying its completed. Stop the exaggeration. its not complete, . That project should have been completed in 2017/18 according to the initial project timeline, it started in 2007. Work has improved on the road but its not completed.

    Despite the huge trillions of money sunk on infrastructure in Lagos, starting from colonial times over 200 years ago, Lagos still looks like shit. This is something that puzzles me about Lagos. Look at the far less money put in Abuja, and Abuja is far classier than Lagos. Ever since the British and Nigeria military left and Yorubas took complete control of Lagos, corruption has been killing Lagos. Lagos is decaying despite the huge money being sunk into Lagos😄

    Oga this information is not correct the road is not completed yet its been done in stages there are even some parts that have not been repaired yes the road upgrade is very much improved may be like 70% but lots of work needs to be done to complete the road and more bridges are needed in Agbara especially while the way users dont obey laws on the road is amazing especially the military men and bike riders its all madness.

      ​​​@@shemovrere7431unfortunately nothing is going on in Agbara because Ogun State government is not serious.
      They asked that the red line should reach Abeokuta but the only station in the first phase of the red line that falls in the Ogun territory is still in ground level and the access roads leading to the federal station that has been in operation since 2021 is still in bad condition.
      The redline is already in operation but the Agbado station has not been built.
      To cut it short, the dream of it reaching Agbara is still not feasible.

    15 years to complete a road project…Nigeria leaders are shameless and useless….How can a road project take 15 years to be completed? Nigeria is indeed a failed nation….The funny thing is that the roads don’t even look nice…Really crazy that Nigerian politicians have reduced Nigerians to a level where mediocrity is celebrated….So sad…I visited South Africa last year from United States for Christmas and what I saw in South Africa in terms of infrastructural development blew my mind…In fact, South Africa is a billion miles ahead of every other country in Africa…All the international airports in Nigeria, including Lagos international airport, are below average.. This is because we elect visionless illiterates into power , and Nigerians will continue to suffer…
