Love this one Matt...keep them coming! Only thing I would change is adding another sub on the other side plus another battery and amp for it too, cuz good bass is life! Every time you mention about people's concerns about installing a big system in an electric car just baffles me...it is the most ideal host for a big system.
Hi Matt, can I install a big, SQ system, in a 2006 Lexus rx400h (hybrid)? No alternator, and the the DC-to-DC converter changed 288V to 14V to juice the under hood auxiliary (none HV battery). Can anything be done above my lane ML system? Either Audiocontrol, or JL Audio 8-channel and a mono block, using Focal Utopia No.7, 3-way components, run all active.
Actually, hybrids and electric cars are the best cars for big CD systems. Matt says, in this video the HV traction batteries, in these cars are like having 200 AGM batteries.
I have a factory-fitted Focal sound system in my Peugeot 3008. As part of that upgrade I got replacement windows, windshield and additional dampening material in the engine bay. Do you do any of that ever with your upgrades? You then of course need lossless audio feeds to play on it. I don't know what Tesla has, but a CD or Bluetooth feed cannot keep up. I use FLAC files on a USB stick.
I have Mosconi amps in my P100D stereo upgrade too, but they go into mute after (I think) 3 seconds of silence. The problem when is when music starts up, it misses the very start until the amp unmutes. How do you get around this?
Wish I knew the way to get my 2012 gmc Denali to you. I have a JL Audio VX1000/5... Kenwood DDX 9905s... 1 pair of c7 components... I pair of jl c2-650... and I JL w7 13.... been looking and looking also been following you guys for awhile and would love to pay you guys to install it. Vehicle is in perfect condition
Hi Matt. It looks like you never touch the dash speakers. You always ADD tweeter and mid speakers to the a-pillar. Are the dash speakers completely discontented in this car? Or still on?
The Mosconi AMAS can either stream hi-res audio from a service, or get signal from a DAP. He is using the Stern SP-1000 DAP to get hi-res into this system.
Outstanding work, as always Matt. My Tesla will one day be coming your way. I’d say the only “miss” with this install in comparing your past Tesla builds, is the A pillar speakers. Too distracting / not as clean IMHO. But other than that, you deserve kudos for your fantastic work on these great cars!
Hi Matt, Super clean install. Wouldn’t use anyting else then mosconi myself. Are you familiar with the mosconi pro 3-way? How would you descibe the diffrence in comparison to the focal no.7?
Tiny Teapot yes. That is why we retain the factory center channel speaker and put it on a switch. When you are ok preset 2, you make sure the center channel is switched ON that way your OEM sounds still come through. Just make sure you are not playing any audio from the Tesla while on preset 2. (Because it would play through the center channel)
Matt Schaeffer like how 5 star car audio or high voltage I'd say sound man 😂😂😂 but we know Doug takes 4 ever on his installations 😂 just showing how ya made the cool panels you do and amp boards, sub boxes. Sorry if I wasn't clear on my question.
I get in a zone during the install. Picking up a video camera kills the creative flow. I am also doing this as a job and not a hobby. I get these jobs done in a very strict timeline. Picking up a video camera and filming during the install would kill to much time.

Beautiful man just so dam beautiful can’t even tell the difference fr look like it’s fit
Thank You!
Another outstanding build young brother 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks Armondo!
Dope as always!! Need a truck build video!
Wow, that is a beautiful installation! Great job with everything .
Beautiful work Matt as usual.
Thanks Tim!
Stellar piece of work as always!
Again art that you have made. Precisely the design of the grill on the a-pillar does not understand well. But that's taste. Respect Matty
Excellent Installation. Do you make all of your cables to size? What Brand of Power Cables, Analog Cables and Speaker Wiring do you utilize?
He uses Stinger

He is using hi-res audio in this system, (all his installs he uses lossless.) He is using the Astrel & Kern SP-1000 DAP, in this Tesla
Beautiful Design.

CWNE88 have it installed correctly.

Yes, all OEM speakers are removed and replaced except that center channel. That turns on and off with a switch to play OEM alerts when on preset 2.
He uses stock center dash speakers for the cars navigation.
Amas is fancy but from where do you get your hi-res files from? Please share

Astell & Kern SP-1000 DAP.
Do you ever use different equipment besides mosconi and focal?
Hey Matt how much power do u usually see from that Mosconi Pro 1|10? I heard u mention 1,000....is it doing that much??
Running 670w rms into the 4ohm 10".
Outstanding work, as always Matt. My Tesla will one day be coming your way.

These are the best pillars I've seen him do IMO. They're incredible.
Hi Matt,
Super clean install. Wouldn’t use anyting else then mosconi myself.
Are you familiar with the mosconi pro 3-way? How would you descibe the diffrence in comparison to the focal no.7?
Matt - When on Preset 2, do all of the native Tesla sounds still come through? (i.e. Navigation commands, various other Tesla car sounds)
Tiny Teapot yes. That is why we retain the factory center channel speaker and put it on a switch. How Mosconi Pro compare to Mosconi AS series sound quality wise? They're price similar.
How long this type of work normally takes?
Pristine work, Matt
Hey Matt, why you only use Mosconi?
Because it's quality stuff that works. I can count on one hand how many times I have had a product failure with Mosconi.
I can’t wait!
Where are you located
How can one find you on the internet to bring their Tesla to you to get this done 🤗🙂

What model is the subwoofer amplifier ?
Mosconi Pro
Matt Schaeffer That is the brand, what is the model ? How many RMS is it at the config you have it wired at ?
@@chrisjordan1913 Mosconi Pro 1/10 mono running 650w rms into 4 ohm 10".
👍
Why don't you ever show the install every video is the system all done?
Eddie can you elaborate what you mean by this?
Matt - Think he means showing the physical install of the products. He's saying you only show the final product.
