Hey Matt, just wanted to give feedback regarding the consult you gave me ~6 months ago for my Model 3 and aftermarket amp/subs. From day 1 it has worked flawlessly and as expected. It was well worth the result and peace of mind. Thanks again for the help!

Nice install. Have you done a Model S without taking too much space in the trunk? I have golf clubs + push cart.

Yes. Look at the other model s plaid I did. It’s already on RUclips. Everything was hidden. Sub was modified to fit in the oem enclosure behind the passenger rear panel.

Question? If I go USB-C to USB HEC card to a Helix Ultra, the D/A conversion is happening in the DSP correct? Do I lose any sound quality if I use my phone in that manner? Secondly, is the D/A converter of a DAP sound better than the D/A converter in the Helix Ultra? Cheers!! Love the channel!

Matt, how does the SQ ofthe Utopia 10' s compare to the JL W7 10' in their ProWedge, sealed enclosure?

What cable are you using for the analog output for the SP3000?

Given the location of mid range and tweeters on A pillar, wouldn’t it create off -axis problems leading to sound reflections ? Plz answer .

    • @therealmatty_s

When they are in the dash firing into the glass, it creates a direct timing problem. It not that case when you do the pillars. The Utopia Ms have a great off axis response. Yes you will still have reflections, as you will in any car because there is glass everywhere, but it will not be a direct problem.
