Lied through the oath and all the way till the end. I will celebrate if she goes to prison.

What she did to the Griffith family was appalling, the lowest of the low.

A thoroughly horrible person whose so-called "apology" was read off a piece of paper - couldn't even be bothered to memorise it. I hope both a civil and criminal case is brought against her whereby she can have a taste of her own medicine.

yes - Jason Beer cornered her over and over again, each time leaving the chairman in no doubt that she was lying. And when it came to the end, the core participants told her to her face exactly what she was. She will not be looking forward to the final report, or the prosecutions that must inevitably follow.

@@srp01983 The KC's know she's lying, the public knows she's lying, the chairman knows shw' lying and she knows that everyone knows she's lying. The circus has come to town.

Of all the witnesses so far, these last two days were particularly interesting. A top executive in a very senior position, given great responsibility, and yet her own testimony demonstrates the culture of lies and deceit that was the sole basis on which this organisation was run. The complete disregard for the decent people that worked for them, the arrogance of pushing their lies despite knowing full well the misery they were causing, their abuse of the powers granted to them and the complete disregard for both the law and common decency makes the conclusion an easy one to reach - these people are despicable beyond words.

She is currently working as an HR contractor and has recently overseen making 100 staff redundant at a company called Integral UK Ltd, she must be so proud of her contribution to society

These executives do not comprehend "truth, the WHOLE truth, and no lies".
None are giving the enquiry the WHOLE truth. The missing bits are what should see many of them jailed.
All it really needs is disclosure of the Fujitsu data on many of these post offices where sub-postmansters were robbed by the Post Office, and where the money went.
As always, follow the money. Did it go into a "Management Annual Bonus Fund" by any chance?

Her apology is irrelevant and empty. The only thing that matters is an admission of deliberate culpability, but that will never happen. She will never admit her sins.

I watched a good amount of her testimony and what struck me was she would collate information for responses to senior management, MP's, The Press, etc. that very much followed the PO office party line. Yet there are plenty of examples of information she was party to (emails, documents etc.) that conflicted with this but appears at no point did this raise concerns and action for further investigated of these discrepancies. In some ways she acted like a clerical assistant shuffling paper rather than a senior manager who is expected to be proactive. Difficult to work out if that was incompetence, lazy, or didn't want to rock the boat. There was the feeling it wasn't her responsibility.....
Like so many people in this inquiry they are like a stick of rock with Post Office written through them and did everything to protect the institution at all cost because they consequences of finding evidence that showed Horizon not to be robust was an existential risk to the organisation. It is now.
Back in January the Government said it would introduce legislation (a simple Bill) to exonerate Postmasters. Seen little progress, but Sunak can swan around Europe and bring in legislation about Rwanda but not provide justice to British citizens! Shameful.

I saw most of this. Her answers were: it was somebody else's responsibility, I can't recall/remember, on Horizon back door it was always "balancing transactions" and nothing else.
Despite being shown emails, it was I don't remember reading it or I didn't appreciate the significance. She has been paid so much by the PO yet she bears no blame for anything because somebody else should have done something because it was not down to her.

It seems to me she is devoid of any emotion or guilt. She simply does not give a damn and I've watched both her sessions.
I suspect she does not think there is anything wrong with lying. Memory lapses are also lies.
She also has a very hard face and I suspect she has never smiled in her life..

She has been working relentlessly for months on her witness statement. Redoing it over and over again until she knows it off by heart, She has been schooled on what to say as she has schooled others to ensure that everyone is covering everyone else. Noone is to blame, noone did anything wrong, noone can remember despite working on it for months, Even Jason Beer lost his cool at one point when he said that you dont appear to be responsible for anything, what did you do in the organisation ?
