She used the "no quorum" excuse on January 23 of this year when Ben Bradley of WGN 9 was present with pointed questions. She had a quorom (Carmen Carlisle's car was behind the buillding) but was afraid of hearing public comments from the likes of Stephanie Wiedeman, Gardis Watts, Mary Avent, Dan Lee, and me. She will not answer any questions about the budget. The first round of agenda's didn't even include public comment. However, I think turnout will be larger and angrier Friday than it was tonight. I wish we could do something other than protest.

Certified mail requests to the lawyer with cc to Illinois State AG. Ask lawyer who they work for: Mayor or Citizens. Also request financials, etc., through lawyer; when you don’t get the requested info, write the lawyer and tell them! The goal is to put legal pressure on the lawyer as well.

The FBI is building a Case to Convict Everyone involved in the corruption in Dolton Village and Thornton Township for the most Charges possible. The FBI has a 98 percent conviction rate. Reminds me of the former Mayor of Detroit Kwane Kilpatrick who was Convicted of Commiting 24 Federal Charges including Embezzlement, Extortion, Racketeering and Income Tax Evasion Charges in 2013. Kwane Kilpatrick was sentenced to 28 years in Federal Prison.

How is she giving herself a raise? The elected officials compensation is set by ordinance at least 180 days before they take office and cannot be modified during the elected officials term in office.

She can not raise her salary, the salary increase must be discussed in a public forum 180 days before the next term begins. Any increase or decrease before this time period is illegal. The trustees did not vote on the increase because the general assembly voted that a supervisor can not decrease or increase an incoming supervisors salary, they are waiting for the Governor to sign the law. The previous salary the trustees approved is null and void, they and her did not follow the law. Her salary should be 224 thousand a year, these people are in trouble.
It seems that if she doesn’t get the salary increase she’ll just take it anyway via expense vouchers and some questionable contracts. Hmmm 🤔

You are absolutely correct about the timing of the meeting. By the time the media get the information on TAH's attempt at getting an undeserved increase in salary the media tends to postpone reporting major stories until the following week. Another reason she chose Friday, is that Illinois law requires that the township board adopt an annual budget by the end of the third month of the fiscal year. That means that the hard deadline is Friday 5/31/24. The people can not ask for more time to digest the budget she has tried to hide from us.
I hope you and the other members of your community not only vote and get Tiffany out but all the other trustees that are watching and working with her besides Gonzales , every single one of them need to be replaced for not standing up and doing what is right, they sit there and allow her to do what she wants!
