Here in California, the CHP - State Police is patrolling the streets of Oakland, the Governor of Illinois needs to shutdown the Dolton Police Department and use the State Police to patrol the streets. There is ample evidence that there is systemic incompetence to make this a matter of public safety.

I really want to agree with you, I swear I want to. My friend last year was hit by a driver running from the cops. They stopped chasing and he was hit and killed by that same person running from the law. Without a police chase. No one wins.

Dolton is a part of Thornton Township. Tiff is mayor of Dolton and Supervisor of Thornton Township which is total of 17 municipalities. This is a huge problem and already claims exist of alleged comingling of funds.
