February 3, 2008 was one of the most memorable days of my life and to be in the stadium in Glendale watching 92 take it to 12 and the entire NEP offense was exhilarating. As a lifelong NYG fan, THANK YOU Michael, and Congratulations on this very well deserved honor! Go G-Men!

Not as a coach but I think he's still been involved with the Giants at some capacity and I think for that he does have 2 Super Bowl rings from the 2007 and 2011 seasons
What a defense the giants had from the mid 2000s-2012. Strahan, Tuck, JPP, Jesse. These guys were a total nightmare for qbs and the only defense ever to shut Brady down in the Super Bowl

Eli, Strahan, and Tuck are such an amazing trio and of course Armstead an underrated player and friend. Eli and Strahan definitely deserve jersey retirement and deserve to be sent to the HoF/Ring of Honor
Growing up as a Giants fan I'd watch the NFL Films Road to Super Bowl 42 documentary all the time. I've probably watched it 100 times. It's a little bitter sweet watching these guys come together in a stiff, professional televised reunion after they've all went separate paths in life after football. But hopefully they still keep in touch and bullshit from time to time as buddies.

Number retirement is rare in the NFL, which is obviously because 47 uniformed players are on the field for each game day, but being from New York and the Giants playing there, where the Yankees have retired a LOT of numbers (they not only have no numbers left from 1-10, 8 is retired for 2 different players), has always made me feel more Giants’ numbers should be retired. Eli and Strahan are both deserving of it. It was a joy to watch them play.
That said, my all-time favorite Giant is neither of them, but IS on the stage with them: Justin Tuck. Tuck wasn’t as great as Strahan or Eli, and he’ll never make the Hall of Fame, but he was my guy.
I think if your team’s jersey number gets retired that should almost guarantee your spot in the Pro Football HOF.
That’s would also make Eli a HOFer
Strahan is already in the Pro Football Hall of Fame... Class of 2014. 😁
