Love Strahan, but, to be fair, sacks did not become an official stat until 1982.
L.T. had 9.5 sacks in 1981, giving him a career total of 142 sacks. Which would be The Giants all time sacks leader!

As much as I love Eli and Simms. Sam Huff belongs on this list. Also as a side note George Martin is one of the most under rated players in NFL history. The man belongs in the HOF.

I always say this to my Giants crew, and I'll say it here as well......... David Diehl is possibly the BEST offensive lineman in our history, and played every position except center in his career. and he was a HUGE part of the last 2 Super Bowls that we won.
Is the Offensive line a flashy position with video highlights? Hell no. But any true fan has to recognize what Diehl did, and meant to the team.

I became a Giants fan in 2006 and I came here to see most of the recent players mentioned from my youth, but I'm blown away by how amazing this was with all of the rich Giants history that I never knew!
Phil Simms should be on list because he help win huge Super Bowl championship over Denver Broncos.threw 22-25 passes and 3 tds for MVP
Homer Jones was my favorite Giant when I first started follow them back in the day. Good old number 45!

I'm glad that they paid homage to the Giants of old. Harry Carson was an absolute monster and gets overshadowed by LT in many peoples' eyes that don't know football. This list is awesome.

Joe Morris, Carl Banks, Mark Bavaro were some of my favourites who didn't make it onto the list. Can't argue though as I never saw a lot of the older players. It was about 1980 that American football made it onto UK TV screens.

Wow, some of these older players were some of the most significant in history! While I have a huge soft spot for Carl Banks and Bavaro, I can understand why those other players would be ahead of them.
As long as the list has LT and Bavaro, I'm fine with it.

LT though deserves to be on a list of his own....He is the greatest defense player in history and arguably the GOAT....I know Brady would disagree lol....But I watched LT do things humans should not be able to do!

Hard to argue anyone should be taken off. Sam Huff and Carl Banks were so great it's hard not to see them in any Giants list of all time greats though.

I forget the year when the Giants played the Saints and Mr. Taylor dislocated his shoulder and set an example for ALL of us by demonstrating the power of WILL, the Determination of “True Grit, The Toughness of a body, the Mental capacity of Durability, the Gladiator Courage DO or DIE, and down to Earth PURE Guts that only we Human's possess. I've experienced a dislocated shoulder and CAN NOT imagine the discomfort this man experienced.

My biggest disagreement by far is your putting Frank Gifford so far down and below even Phil Sims. I must assume you didn’t personally see Frank play? After LT he would be in the next 2-5 depending on opinion. You did great though, I

Go Giants, please grab Wills in a trade back and solidify our O Line. If you stay at 4 you better grab Simmons unless you pick an OT that turns out to be a dominant franchise Tackle. Regardless I trust our front office and Gettleman to make the right moves.

Below average QB carried through to postseasons by the defense. The defense only gave up an average of 15.1 points/game, no more than 20 in a game, and an opposing passer rating of 74. And Eli still barely managed to 5/8 games. And 2 of those were overtime games in which Eli literally did nothing on the game winning drives but was headlined as the reason they won.

Poor Rodney Hampton may have been the most talented offensive player NYG ever had, but played on some mediocre teams (more Dave Brown anyone?). Hard to leave Barber off the list too

OBJ is the sole reason Eli's career went to 2019. When Eli threw to OBJ, his passer rating was 111. When he threw to everyone else, it was 74.
How is Michael Strahan only at 10? He's definitely the best Giant of all time after LT.
