Hello Doctor I have a question. Is nasal drops safe if swallowed always? I mean can it enter the bloodstream and be absorbed or be harmful if swallowed?
You should try and use the nasal sprays so they don’t end up in your throat. If you do accidentally end up swallowing some, it shouldn’t be a serious problem
@@DrSophieGP Yes I have been using xylometazoline nasal drops for six years and also I swallowed some whenever I was using it But I don't have serious problem Thank you doctor

If that’s just happening on one side, that’s quite a normal response. Your healthcare provider should be able to assist with this and check if anything else going on.
Thankyou.

You have to do this for two weeks even if there is no dizziness after a few days?
You can stop sooner if your symptoms clear.

I would vomit. I can't even move that quickly.
You could try and get some anti-sickness medication and then try it, it may help if the cause is BPPV.

This made me worse 😢
It does make you feel nauseous if you have vertigo, but if you can stick it out, it can help if your vertigo is caused by BPPV.
I can't do this without getting so dizzy that I feel like I'm going to throw up
