I’ve had a 13 Pro Max for about 9 months now. I use it fairly heavily for projects (average 9-10 hours of screen time per day). Battery health is like 97. Still comfortably get a whole day and then some, with video and camera usage. It’s super impressive and hugely better than my prior 7 and XR.
I'm also using the 13 Max and I also bought the Magsafe Battery 🙊 I'm ending LONG days of use with 40-60% battery left lmao

My 12 pro max lasts about 6-7 hours with heavy use and I feel like that’s a lot. Nearly 10 hours for the 13 pro max is insane. Not enough for me to upgrade but a great one for people with the 11 or X

@@juannino20 If you have the money and battery life is a big factor, go for it. If ever you have to upgrade to iPhone 13 Pro Max, get the 265gb and above, since it have the max ProRes capability in video recording (4K at 30fps). If you'll just go for 128gb for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I don't think the upgrade would be 100% worth it, you better stick with your 11 or just get the base model 13. I personally think that iPhone 13 Pro Max is an overkill as it is a massive and powerful techno beast. In terms of value: $899 256GB iPhone 13 > $1,099 256GB iPhone 13 Pro > $1,099 128 GB iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Anyway, iPhones have a much better resale value in the second hand market compared to android phones. So even if your iPhone 11 is still good for the next 3 years or so, now is the time where you can still trade-in or sell your phone for a great price (if your battery health is 80%+).
Don’t upgrade until 4 generations, the 12 pro i upgrades from the 6 so I think it’s best to save your money unless you are rich

The 13 pro with high refresh rate lasted longer than the 13 that probably has the same battery size. LTPO is no joke.

The 13 Pro Max beats the entire 12 line-up by a huge margin even with 120Hz enabled. Well played Apple, well played.
I imagine you will get much better times because it's a variable refresh rate and when your just looking at a picture or scrolling through comments the refresh rate lowers down to 10hz and since most of the tests were done using a game or videos then it would essentially be pushing the refresh rate to 120hz or 60hz

Nah it's still a good lasting phone as long as you're not a power user. It will give you 6 hours of SoT as long as the efficiency cores are the most hammered cores.

I recently upgraded from the iPhone 7 to the 13 Pro Max and I’ve been super impressed with the battery life of the 13 Pro Max. I’ve been able to use this phone (moderate usage) without charging this phone for over a day and a half, which is a HUGEEE upgrade compared to the 7 which would go from 100% to 5% in less than an hour 😅 Overall, pretty impressed :)
I just upgraded from a IPhone 6 Plus so broken it had no home button, you could barely do anything on it. It’s battery lasted probably 2 hours on low brightness. I upgraded to a iPhone 13 (didn’t want big phone) and it’s amazing

The most taxing battery activity I've found to actually be Google Maps or any form of navigation. This test would resonate more with me if there was a battery usage from navigation segment 🤔💡

Well that's kind've to be expected. Comparing it to the Moto G6 Plus, that also came out in 2018, the Moto had a better battery capacity and better battery life. It also had a better display, iPhones have really only gotten seriously good with the release of the iPhone 13, because the battery life for iPhones before it is getting dwarfed by Android phones even in the £100-£200 price bracket. I got myself a Moto G100 and the performance is amazing, not as good as iPhones, but I'm glad that you're happy with your purchase, since I think Apple have really tried to push out great phones this time around.

Sure the camera was great but it was impractical to impossible to send the pictures I took on android as the file was so large and always sent as grainy. Among other things, iPhone is simpler to use and relatively dependable

Yeah the 13 mini is an excellent phone, the 12 mini was already a great phone but this just beats it knowing the battery life, and new camera performances and overall experience

@@thegamerhawk69 I mean define new, for iphones, you wait long enough and a new one comes out and makes the one you bought obsolete in some way or the other. Faced this with the iPad I bought 3 months ago. 12 MP UW front camera in the 9th gen one, I mean come on!!!! The camera till the 8th gen sucked big time!
I understand that if u like smaller phones get a smaller phone but if h want a new phone just wait a year get the big new one and it will last u 3-7 years

I’m amazed with the battery life of the 13 mini, how they can fit a bigger battery in a smaller phone to the 12 surprises me!
My guess is they didn’t make a bigger battery, just optimize the phone to not use so much. But I could be wrong lol

the phone is also a little bit thicker thus allowing a bit more battery inside
Well his 12 is over a year old and the 12 series had 1:30- 2:00 hours less than the 11. Look at his video last year

Got the 13 mini and I love it. I was afraid I wouldn’t be used to the small size (coming from the XS Max) but honestly it feels refreshing to not have a brick in my pocket, and to be able to text with one hand and hold the phone comfortably on one hand. Love it! Also it’s actually not as small as I thought. The overall size is about the same size as the iPhone 6S (screen is way bigger though)

It’s a direct size replacement for the 7 too, with a much larger screen.

In this video he is testing brand new phones vs old phones with degraded battery life. So misleading… I don’t trust this channel anymore
@@danielmoreira3892 mate, towards the end as he mentioned, in every battery test he does, the apps he runs are slightly different. So this 6h 41 minutes is for a slightly different set of apps.
I do however agree that the iPhone 12 he was using probably has a degraded battery. Because based on the spec sheet, iPhone 12 should have a higher battery capacity. So its either the regarded battery or its Apple reducing battery life to get people to upgrade.
The battery life on my iPhone 13 Pro Max is insane! It gets me throughout the day!
