Love your content I drink moringa tea and fenegreek tea and I noticed with the fenegreek tea that my hair looks healthier thicker gotten longer and plus my figure is slimmer like my stomach area isn't bulging anymore ( my stomach is flat) I menopause my age is 56 wow this tea is excellent 👌
Fenugreek is one of the herbs used as a natural estrogen replacement. Ashwangandtha is good with it also. I use both, but finally decided to go on HRT patches. But I do a low dose and supplement with these herbs for great effect, especially for maintaining bone density. I'm same age as you.
My mom is going through cancer treatments and is dealing with thin hair and excessive shedding and after a while of tring to find ways to help this her and this video is a life saver.
I've been both drinking and using horsetail in my rinses. When drinking, I combine with mint and dandelion. For application, I combine it with green tea and put it in a spray bottle to apply.
i make a tea rinse with fresh Rosemary, hibiscus, fenugreek, green tea, MSM, alma, rose petals, lavender, and sage. i keep a jar in the freezer to save time.
Ik we lose 50-100 hairs a day but I always felt like I have excessive shedding. I've been using green tea in a spray bottle as a leave in with my curl cream. I been really surprised I don’t see as much shedding 🙏🏽
I’m new here! Knowledge is truly power!! This is my first time hearing this information, and I am so grateful! I love to drink green tea and now I will have another usage for it! 🙌🏾
I think used tea, on time, on my hair, and that was mixed with henna. It was black tea. By the way, thanks for specifying the advantages of caffeine, because I drink decaf. Favorite teas to drink: Earl Grey, then black tea that I mix different herbs with. I've always loved making up recipes. I was a bartender, for a while, and building flavors in beverages, is as much fun as it is in foods.
I think I must be part English, I love tea! I have so many favorites primarily for drinking peppermint, chamomile, black tea, and Chai tea. For hair, I like black tea ,green tea and hibiscus; but also spices cloves, fenugreek, and rosemary. I've currently making what I call my Super Tea: brown rice, flaxseed, cloves, fenugreek, rosemary, hibiscus; with recent additions of green tea and horsetail. I add all the ingredients in a mason jar and add hot distilled water: distilled water only. I let the tea sit on my kitchen counter for 24 - 48 hours. I pour 4oz of the tea in a measuring cup I keep for my hair and add 8oz of distilled water and a teaspoon of ACV. CC based on your recommendation from a live you did I put in my hair mask and added the tea as I was rising the mask out....💥🔥, so much slip and my scalp and hair felt amazing, thx CC
Green tea is the best and love to drink it. I Will try as a rinse too. I dont have dandruff but my scalp is very very sensitive. I need the lemonbalm too to help with shedding. Thanks for the great information.
I tend to drink a mix of black & green tea. For application to my hair, I tend to use fenugreek, clove, hibiscus or green tea. (Random combos) currently have clove & fenugreek in my spray bottle!
@ramoyarichardson5823 Take 1 tsp of fenuGreek seeds and put them in an airtight container.… maybe about 8 oz or so, I never measure the seeds or water so just guessing. Add hot water but it doesn't need to be boiling and close up the container. Let it sit for at least 8 hours. Then pour off the tea. You can either throw away the seeds or blend them up and use them for something else. For the tea, you can either put it in a bowl and do a rinse after shampooing, or you can do what I do, which is put it in a spray bottle and use it for moisturizing my scalp during the week--just spray scalp and massage it in. Keep it in the fridge if you use the spray bottle method. You may want to massage some oil on your scalp after the tea dries to seal in the hydration.
I drink butterfly pea flower tea mixed with African green rooibos tea and hibiscus flowers. It tastes wonderful with lemon and honey. Everyone and y'all's family always stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐🕊️
@@kimberlyviolaraysor1008 I mix mine with hibiscus 🌺. I've heard of the other haven't tired it yet tho. I don't put anything in my teas, its an extension of water for me 😆. Water just starts to be water I need a flavor Sometimes. Perfect season for hot teas tho 🍵 . Many blessings to you and yours as well🙏
Good job as always,Tonya. I noticed your video quality has improved...👏..I do a black tea rinse every wash day,and thank God, i have seen an improvement in length but are there teas that help with thickness/volume?...😊... Because that's what i really need.
So glad I found your channel! I have questions about specifics, though. As someone else asked, are we rinsing with the tea after shampooing and before conditioning? And are we using leaving the tea in the hair, or rinsing it out with water? If so, how long do we leave tea in the hair?
I soooo appreciate your content! I am super excited that I found your channel! Same question?? Do we rinse it out of the hair, or just go to the next step of our wash day routine?! 😊

Very informative. Thanks as always for sharing this knowledge! Can these tea hacks can also help with hair thinning in the crown area? I've dabbled in green tea for drinking, but I'll definitely check out the lemon balm.
This is just the video I needed, thanks😊. BTW could I use coffee as a substitute for black tea? and would you also recommend rinses with rosemary or fenugreek tea?
Thank you sooo much curly!!! My hair is very fine, low porosity, see through. I don’t know what else to do. I do take medication. I really would like to do a one on one with you, I’m just afraid that there is no help for my hair. I have used everything under the sun, and I don’t know what else to do. I think you can help me, but I’m not sure???😱👀😃what do you think???❤️🙏🏽🥰
You can use conditioner before or after. I usually use before deep conditioning. You only need to leave on hair for 20-30min then rinse. You can notice results after first use
Hey girl how would you apply rinses , would you applylike spill it all over ur head after shampoo then condition? Or i was thinking putting it in a spray bottle and spaying it all over my hair instead what way is best??
My favorute tea us peach tea, it tastes so good. For the green tea, is it also effective to drink it? and for rinses, what temperature should the tea be when poured on the hair and should be poured on clean hair?
I just recently starting doing green tea rinses and I definitely notice a difference!! I will definitely be keeping it up. I used to shed a lot but it has gotten less and less and I literally just finished washing my hair and did a green tea rinse again. This time there was barely any shedding
My favorite team is hibiscus, rosehip, and butterfly blue tea with lemon. My tea rinse is the same without lemon and I add anise, use it after shampoo with my deepest conditioner. Love both.
So, what if I have a rigorous schedule, that doesn't allow me to keep a regimen, but, I do cleanse my scalp regularly, but, I have a limited expense level to keep up 🤷
I would try to keep it as simple as possible and find a routine that fits your schedule and budget. Prioritize the basics of cleansing, conditioning, and preventive care.

Dark Roast black coffee also make a great scalp spritz. Make sure you moistirize with a leave in after. Can be drying.
Oh, I agree. Mixed a bit into my aloe Vera gel as a prepoo or for scalp massage.

My favorite tea is cinnamon sticks and some cloves. I am going to try green and black teas for a rinse. Thanks for this video.❤❤❤❤

Yes, I would try it! Also, be sure to reduce any tension from hairstyles in that area as well.
@@CurlyChemistry Ok thank you so much 👍.
Hey, is there a certain kind of green tea do we need to use? Also how is cloves and fresh rosemary tea used 4 hair growth
Is it ok to put tea on your hair if it’s color treated ????
This is just the video I needed, thanks😊. BTW could I use coffee as a substitute for black tea? and would you also recommend rinses with rosemary or fenugreek tea?
All three of those are known for being good rinses to support hair growth, you can find plenty of recipes here on RUclips. :-)
@@CurlyChemistry Thank you
Can you review the flax seed gel from Aveda? It has flax seed, aloe Vera, castor oil and dimethicone
✨️✨️✨️Thank you!
black tea can be dry our hair?
How often would I use the tea in my hair? 😊
I would do it twice a month because tea can be drying and you don't want to overdo it. Lol too much of a good thing is not good either
I usually use 1x weekly every week. Sure it depends on what your hair needs

Do you use conditioner after the green or black rinse? How long does the rinse need to stay in your scalp to have any benefits?
Shampoo, apply tea on your scalp only for 15-20 minutes, conditioner (mask), and style
You can use conditioner before or after. I usually use before deep conditioning. You only need to leave on hair for 20-30min then rinse. You can notice results after first use
Forgot to also mention for easy application after making tea you can transfer to a spray bottle and spray on hair and scalp or use a nozzle applicator
