I thank u for video. I have replaced a digitizer before & this was the same. This time I cannot get it to work. The LCD screen is fine , the clock works, screenshot tab works but nothing else... It comes on and my son has a lock on it & supposedly only have to swipe to unlock but I can't swipe. It does nothing. Any advice please respond ASAP. Thanks

Is there a way to tell if the LCD is damaged before putting the new screen back on?

you can test it by connecting the lcd and battery and turn on
