So you either grind these chips out again to spend them and hope you get lucky, or you do what any sane person would do and save and reload until you get the cards you need for the trophy. This in of itself is an insanely mind numbing and tedious task, but it makes it worse when this can take literal days to get due to it's RNG nature. As much as I love the Neptunia series, almost every game in the franchise has that one (or more) trophy that will drive you completely insane.
As a fellow Neptunia fan I feel this, also shoutout to the "Millionaire" trophies in several of the games which require you to get enough money... which takes forever to grind, and even longer without DLC dungeons and raised level cap (to allow you to fight more rewarding enemies)

Honestly I love achievement where I need to replay the game, especially when it gives me some kind of restrictions. From speedrun, deathless, not using particular mechanics. And then sometime it also make me wanna attempt multiple challenges at once. Love that
Something rng happened to me with Rise of the tomb raider having to buy all the things from a shop. You find coins. You are supposed the have enough when getting 100% But i DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH. So i had to playfor hours searching in caves until i found the exact amount i needed
Trophies related to extreme difficulty levels are a no for me. My gaming skills are mediocre at best and I don't want to watch game over screens over and get frustrated. Also no death runs and speed runs are often too difficult for me. I rather collect a thousand random items in a game.
Thing that stops me from platinuming a lot of games is useless colectibles cause you have to put in some time and get practically nothing (100 feathers in ac 2 you get outfit that makes you wanted anywhere you go)
I couldnt platinum callisto protocol because 1 trophy just didnt pop when it should have and now i would have to restart from 0 to MAYBE get it... like heeell no, and it also has NG+ trophy witch is difficulty specific
Multi-player and speedrun trophies can be really good sometimes but otherwise ruin a trophy run. I love the uncharted speedrun trophies thought perfect time and chapters for them all.
The Last of Us Remastered multiplayer trophies seem to be what's keeping it an Ultra Rare platinum on PSNP. I personally had a blast with the multiplayer, really good mode.
Im worst experience of glitched trophy is just cause 3 i have 100 percented the game but i still don't get the plat because the 100 percent trophy was glitched
I only like collectibles if they appear on the map and the only issue u might have is trying to get it. I just played Ratchet and Clank full 100% and the fact that each collectible appears on ur map when u discover an area makes the game so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Not to mention they even add interesting settings to the game, such as: bigger/smaller head, changing the way coins appear, changing the way ur weapons appear, new filters for the screen, and even infinite ammo and infinite HP. Really fun game
Had the same thing happen with cyberpunk but only difference is I've finished the story. I now have to get all other trophies then go back to get that trophy..
I remember when I played most of the time on Pc I tryed to achieve the 100% of Team Fortress 2 on Steam and there are some “trophies” like “Public a video on RUclips and get 100.000 views” or The Stanley Parable where there was a secret trophy that literally no one knew how to do it (expect with cheats) until someone find out that you obtain that only if you DONT play the game for 10 years (now it is on Playstation store and the same trophy has a description)
I'm currently working on South Park The Stick of Truth. I finished the game and was working through the rest of the collectables when I realised I missed 1 in the last mission.
Bro i have been playing tlou factions since my old account on ps3 but getting back to the game The remastered version is a thrill one of the best online games ever, i have played all 163 matches without boosting or skipping days
I played a couple games with glitched trophies. Assassins Creed 3, I 100%'d the whole game to find out that because I grabbed ONE collectable with the wrong character, it didn't count as being collected. After 65 hours, I realized I had to play the whole game again. And Martha is Dead, I have the trophy for using every camera accessory, but can't get the trophy for actually having each accessory. I played the game 4 times to try and get it to pop. You have to collect every part without loading, which wouldn't be a problem except the game crashes every 30 minutes.
I have a tie between deathless runs and speedrun trophies/achievements. I hate them both. I wish they were just difficulty modes/options rather than requirements for perfecting a game.
Even worse for some trophies that require you needing a code that comes when you buy a game new but since its ps3 era its impossible, like warhammer 40k space marine comes with a code that allows you to level up past level 5 during multiplayer which is required to get some of the mandatory trophies, although at least Space Marines allowed you to buy the code on the ps3 store for an extra 10 dollars
Can relate so much to this. Missable and multiple play through is a no no for me. Same reason I’ve never done the resident evil games. I don’t like using a guide so missable collectibles breaks me starting at a guide and missing the story.
Tbh about the guide thing...for me it makes a difference with which mindset i go into a trophy. if my intent is to do it in the end with a guide anyway then will need one. if i actually try on my own i pay much more attention to it and actually have good odds to find a spot to do the trophy myself
The RNG based trophy i extremely hated to get a platinum for a game was Fairy Tail. Game was very simple and basic in going over the events of the anime. One trophy requires you to do a team move, but you dont get to choose the specials and instead it just plays out randomly. Saw some people got the trophy very quickly but it took me multiple hours across many days just to get the trophy. Sad thing was it was the final trophy i needed for the platinum lol.
I had the platinum for the PS3 port of the original God of War glitch on me. I got the last trophy i needed and the Platinum never popped it eventually registered i got it but never got to see that pop
Eventually I would add difficulty related trophies (I’m looking at you Wolfenstein The New Colossus 👀). I had the same thing in CP2077, the only trophy I’m missing is with the devil ending and Takemura alive in it. At least I planned to play it a second time in the future. Gwent cards trophy was annoying and got it on 3rd or 4th playthrough with guide, was missing a card or two but after checking nearly all places it wasn’t there until I went to a person who I thought I played but I didn’t.
I had to play Dead Island 2 from start to finish 3 times because getting to level 30 was glitched. The third time I was playing on a offline blank account. For some weird reason glitched trophies will always pop on a offline blank account. With the game Thymesia I had the same problem. Getting to level 25 was glitched, but playing on a offline blank account got me the trophy. It’s the only way getting that trophy if the developers doesn’t fix it
I only platinum games I enjoy so I don’t ever have any frustration, if I like the game the trophies ain’t no problem I won’t force myself to platinum a game I don’t like I feel like that’s where a lot of people mess up the experience, I ONLY buy games I know I will enjoy never anything else 😂
Glitched trophies are the worst, I remember when I got all the requirements for Blasphemous 2 in a week but the last trophy did not pop. I had to wait a month for the devs to patch the trophy and now psnprofiles says that I platinumed the game in a months time instead of a week. Does not affect my experience with the game but it was annoying regardless.
recently had a mean bug with ps4 lego star wars the force awakens (one of the dlc sets) one trophy was like: avoid all the enemy traps (bumped into one in my normal play through) - i repeated the stage multiple times with pretty much perfect aim! ...trophy didn't pop oO problem: game remembers -.- you had to reload your save after every fail! that was some stupid crap, if you didn't knew
I actually like collectibles, as long as they're not missable - missable trophies/achievements/completion stuff is a reason I often do a quick check for missables before I start playing a game just in case. Also "games without a guide" ooof I feel this. As someone who recently got Soldam (the new 2017 game) for PS4, there are certain trophies I struggled with or still have no idea how to get since there's basically no info on this and even less in English (not helped by other trophies with obvious clear conditions being buggy so I can't even be fully sure if I completed the requirement but it just didn't pop?), like collecting all the "Plumi" characters (creatures next to the screen that can evolve differently depending on how you play) and having to figure out myself through a combination of google translating random Japanese sites and watching videos how to get the final few. Which also brings me to trophy lists where none (or very few) descriptions actually tell you what to do to get them - the biggest offender I can think of is the Project Diva series, where every trophy description is just "You got the title [trophy name]!" Which is technically correct because they match up with in-game titles you can get, but the game does not even tell you HOW to actually get said titles in-game...
I also hate achievements that requires you to buy the dlc like in sniper elite 4 And there is 1 achievement that haunts me every day and night and it is for completing the witcher2 on insane difficulty which means the hardest difficulty+deathless+basically one shot and i am pretty sure in one session(no saves) which is fine by me but the problem is that the game is so old and mechanics are so old that the game pace is so slow and hitboxes are just not right...
4:40 bro forgot about chapter select 💀 (I did platinum dbh tho and it took me like 20 hours and first two playthroughs were because I enjoyed the game, ngl the bookworm trophy was the hardest)
Yep chapter sélect is a lifesaver for completing those " certains action during specific time " There is also a neat trick to shorten a playthrough for the connor thophy who allows to finish in nearly 6h instead of 10/12h. I did have my plat within 34h, i used to play my 1st " blind " cause i dont like ruin my experience for this masterpiece who has been designed around the story experience and choice " making "
I agree on all of those points but I have to specifically point out how much I agree on the different endings nonesense requirement. Like I get why it's there and I'm really happy that there is this option for players who want to experience different types of playthroughs and see what different endings they bring. That's the beauty of freedom in a game. And in the same vein it is my freedom to play a game how I see fit. For example the Mass Effect games where I have to replay the games several times (I think the first one required 3 and a half playthroughs for level 60 iirc). I played it that many times and always played it the same way, make the same choices (unless I had to do something different) because that's how I want to play my games. It's great that people have options. But that's what it should be, OPTIONS. Don't force additional playthroughs and different choices/endings on players who tailored a specific gameplay experience to their own wishes.
once i was doing a plat for ratchet and clank and got stuck at 1 place I was like 1 hour away from the plat I tried glitching out of it I tried no clipping I read like 100 forums about it but there was a 0%chance I was gonna be able to do smth so I just had 2 do the whole thing again which took me about 15hours..
I have one game that I want to platinum but I need 2 trophies in order to do it in Code Vein I need to get all endings on one profile and I'm not sure the endings I have gotten and the other I need like 400 medals which need to be done by playing online with others or if you are lucky you can get them by yourself they just take fighting bosses multiple times if you play by yourself or fight bosses once while online to get 1 medal
When it comes to glitched trophies The most worse feeling is if it's a extremely rare glitch and you are one of the unlucky few to have it happen to you. Meaning there is probably no solution dew to it not happening that often and you have to deal with the fact that everyone else got it but not for you because the game decided to say F U
You talk about getting spoiled by guides at around 9:30. Thats why for me at least i always play games the first time pure. And then for 100% i put my earbuds in listen to podcasts and use guides.
totally agree with everything. But with resident evil there is often rewards that make subsequent playthroughs a lot easier (like the infinite rocket launcher) RE2 took me a few days and re3 took me 7 hours. But I had the benefit of having played them both on PC beforehand. And if you know the critical path, one playthrough can be done easily in one evening. (except for re4 remake - I have been working on that plat for ages but having already 100% it on steam, feeling a lot of burnout)
If you hate all of those things, then DO NOT platinum bendy and the dark revival. You have to play through the story twice, you have to look up a guide to find all the collectibles as there is no indication on where you can find them, and there are TONS of missable trophies.
Resident evil might take multiply playthoughs to get every trophy in which is true but the game is so fun you do want to play another playful straight after your first Playthough
Thanks for that! I might look at it, just from your gameplay and ideas for games to look at for a low price like that on the ps wtore i'll definitely try have a look, Still have to improve my Knack achievement because I just been focused on others but i'm wondering do you have a discord server to discuss ideas and stuff?
the only trophy i truly hate is multiplayer trophies. i pretty much only play single player games and i always play them twice. first play through just for the story and for fun then the second or even third for the platinum. i played sekiro til like ngl+5 for the platinum but enjoyed every second (except for the grinding to upgrade everything to max)
hate multiplayer trophies in single player games, makes me no want to purchase them in the first place. but time trial trophies yeah no thanks that’s the reason i haven’t gone back to shadow of the colossus
I personally hate the buggy type trophies the most because like said in the glitched trophy part you do everything right but it doesn't pop, you do it over and over again until you look for help only to find it wasn't a problem for other people whatsoever. I'm just like why me? *Context* I'm trying to platinum TLOU part 1 and the trophy for "survive through all of Ellie's jokes" isn't working. I make sure there's no enemies around, stand in the exact spot as the guide shows but she just stands there doing nothing. Like omg just tell me a f***ing joke Ellie.
I don't really mind grindy trophies, as I find repetitive, mindless tasks kind of relaxing (whithin reason). Speedruns and difficulty-related trophies I could do without. I haven't platinumed any Uncharted games yet simply because I don't care about playing them in the highest difficulty. Online trophies can go die in a fire.
I just finished my first (and blind) playthrough of Detroit, as a matter of fact. I think I might get everything else in my 2nd playthrough but man, that scene at the immigration check, I fucking cried. It's a emotionally heavy game that needs to be processed.
I feel that for Multiplayer trophies is only a serious issue in single player games, where it can easily ruin a players experience to get that platinum if they have to go out of there way to get a couple of trophies in a dead or unfun multiplayer environment. Additionally, in games like Red Dead Redemption 2, single player is the core experience players play for and adding multiplayer elements are fun but shouldn't have trophies attached to the platinum, make it DLC. If a game is purely multiplayer then I don't feel the same way about multiplayer trophies, as multiplayer is a core aspect of that gaming experience. Games like Battlefield 2042 have some stupid trophies like the Hazard Zone trophies (which I am still trying to get) and the T1 mastery trophies, but although these trophies are difficult to obtain its what the players like me signed up for.
All of those are really specific to the game... I found these types of achievments in a lot of game and in some of them they were really fun but in some of them they were awful
It boggles my mind how multiplayer trophies are still a thing. Maybe if they didn’t count towards the platinum I would be okay with them. Give them their own section like dlc trophies. But they don’t. Trophies have been a thing since the ps3. The fact not a single developer/higher up has listened to our cries is absurd. WE DON’T WANT MULTIPLAYER TROPHIES UNLESS THE GAME IS SOLELY MULTIPLAYER!

Yeah I just finished that 1000 miles trophy in the Mafia 2 DLC and I HATED IT!
This kind of trophy are " time wasting for me " i just relinquish to do those cause no enjoyment 😢
Just got the gta 5 platinum
Tbh i don't even do multiplayer trophies cause i need ps plus and i dont have it so i just don't count them but count the platinums
The TLOU multiplayer is amazing, but I do agree that it should have been a extra list.
I’m not good at video games. I play every single game on the easiest difficulty. But I still platinumed Witcher 3. It’s not that hard
I felt that Rainbow Six Siege Gold Rank
I heard returnal music on rng collectibles gave me that 1000-yard stare
The RNG based trophy i extremely hated to get a platinum for a game was Fairy Tail. Game was very simple and basic in going over the events of the anime. One trophy requires you to do a team move, but you dont get to choose the specials and instead it just plays out randomly. Saw some people got the trophy very quickly but it took me multiple hours across many days just to get the trophy. Sad thing was it was the final trophy i needed for the platinum lol.
I had the platinum for the PS3 port of the original God of War glitch on me. I got the last trophy i needed and the Platinum never popped it eventually registered i got it but never got to see that pop
omfg..... glitched trophies is just terrible. its littarly the worst thing..... as a trophy hunter i just hate when that happens
This is why I only 100% games I actually enjoy. Just the idea of skipping a game because of trophies is wild to me, but more power to you.
Thays why I buy a indie games when I want to platinums lol they're just so much fun to platinum compared to online/AAA games.
"I hate RNG trophies"
Yakuza 0 Cat Scratch Fever Trophy:
Hate that trophy
Glitched trophies are the worst, I remember when I got all the requirements for Blasphemous 2 in a week but the last trophy did not pop. I had to wait a month for the devs to patch the trophy and now psnprofiles says that I platinumed the game in a months time instead of a week. Does not affect my experience with the game but it was annoying regardless.
I tried platinuming Tribes of Midguard, but I gave up because it doesn’t tell you, but you clearly need 2 or more players to get certain trophies
recently had a mean bug with ps4 lego star wars the force awakens (one of the dlc sets)
one trophy was like: avoid all the enemy traps (bumped into one in my normal play through) - i repeated the stage multiple times with pretty much perfect aim! ...trophy didn't pop oO
problem: game remembers -.- you had to reload your save after every fail! that was some stupid crap, if you didn't knew
I'm trying to platinum tlou remastered, and there is a glitched trophy and it's the optional convo one. It's driving me crazy
I really hope I never play a game with bugged trophies. I had to abandon multiple accounts for that reason. :(
I actually like collectibles, as long as they're not missable - missable trophies/achievements/completion stuff is a reason I often do a quick check for missables before I start playing a game just in case.
I also hate achievements that requires you to buy the dlc like in sniper elite 4
And there is 1 achievement that haunts me every day and night and it is for completing the witcher2 on insane difficulty which means the hardest difficulty+deathless+basically one shot and i am pretty sure in one session(no saves) which is fine by me but the problem is that the game is so old and mechanics are so old that the game pace is so slow and hitboxes are just not right...
I don’t like grind trophies but I’m doing Civ 6 and Civ 7 when it comes out
4:40 bro forgot about chapter select 💀 (I did platinum dbh tho and it took me like 20 hours and first two playthroughs were because I enjoyed the game, ngl the bookworm trophy was the hardest)
Yep chapter sélect is a lifesaver for completing those " certains action during specific time "
There is also a neat trick to shorten a playthrough for the connor thophy who allows to finish in nearly 6h instead of 10/12h.
I just started construction simulator and it has a trophy for playing 160 hours!!
One of my least favorites are "get 3 stars on all challenges". Particularily time trials.
What is that game at 0:35 I find that it is similar map gui to hot wheels but I have no clue and wouldnlike to know what it is so I can look into it.
Table Top Racing
Thanks for that! I might look at it, just from your gameplay and ideas for games to look at for a low price like that on the ps wtore i'll definitely try have a look, Still have to improve my Knack achievement because I just been focused on others but i'm wondering do you have a discord server to discuss ideas and stuff?
@@Chazney coming this week!
Hey man,I wanted to tell you that I want to try tunic out and thinkin about platnuming it, should i be aware of any trophies?
This time I am not depressed 😂😂 but still you always come in clutch ❤ keep it up bro
💙
the only trophy i truly hate is multiplayer trophies. i pretty much only play single player games and i always play them twice. first play through just for the story and for fun then the second or even third for the platinum. i played sekiro til like ngl+5 for the platinum but enjoyed every second (except for the grinding to upgrade everything to max)
I hate that for spider ps4 I got the platinum but instead of saying 100% it says 74 because of dlc.
I spent 10 hours looking for collectables in seattle day 1 2 and 3 in the last of us 2
My favourite thing about days gone was letting you track how far you were in each trophie
More games need that fr
I hate both Speedrun trophies and Permadeath ones.
Hello,
I would like to know what is the music around 2:22, when you are talking about Returnal, please ?
And great video ! :-)
It's from Returnal, Hyperion theme!
@@SANDREZZ Thank you very much !
hate multiplayer trophies in single player games, makes me no want to purchase them in the first place. but time trial trophies yeah no thanks that’s the reason i haven’t gone back to shadow of the colossus
I think missable collectables deserves it's own tier over just normal collectables.
I personally hate the buggy type trophies the most because like said in the glitched trophy part you do everything right but it doesn't pop, you do it over and over again until you look for help only to find it wasn't a problem for other people whatsoever. I'm just like why me?
*Context*
I'm trying to platinum TLOU part 1 and the trophy for "survive through all of Ellie's jokes" isn't working.
I was going for the Hogwarts Legacy platinum but 2 of the collectible trophies were glitched, so I had to start a new playthrough
I just finished my first (and blind) playthrough of Detroit, as a matter of fact. I think I might get everything else in my 2nd playthrough but man, that scene at the immigration check, I fucking cried.
It's a emotionally heavy game that needs to be processed.
I admit it, I have the trophy in AC Valhalla for collecting/ clear all of the map in the base game. 😅
Great video Sandrez. Complete agree.
The Timestamps 🤣
Also, congrats on 25K subs! 🥳🎉
Hehe, thank you mate!
All of those are really specific to the game... I found these types of achievments in a lot of game and in some of them they were really fun but in some of them they were awful
The Resident Evil extra playthroughs rarely a chore and usually a lot of fun. Don’t let that dissuade you from a great franchise.
I completely agree on your thoughts on Detroit Become Human & Until Dawn...
Speedrun, online, and difficulty trophies are the absolute worst!
