I installed a set of eBay/Amazon fender flares on a Dodge Ram truck to cover the common rust over the wheel wells. These fender flares are sold online for around 130-150 dollars and are relatively easy to install.

I am grateful for you taking the time and making the video on installing the fender flares. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram diesel rust is starting to show left-side fender, the right-side not the original. Thank you!

My husband never put the first set of flares on correctly and they came off and got destroyed while traveling, so Ive had to buy another set and I will have to try to install them myself😅

For those of us who have an early model Dodge Truck the bed, there are three squares holes, the center hole spraying some motor oil into the hole and other points in the bed to slow rust down or stop it. I was told this by an aircraft engineer who owns two Dodge diesel truck 2003 and a 2015 Hemi. He showed to, me all the spots that need oiling. I do wish that learned this years ago; 2003 Dodge Ram diesel mileage 85,200.

That’s good info! I was told the same thing and just picked up a rust free southern box. Also, some of them have sound deadening foam in there. It retains dirt and moisture. Rip that stuff out too!

It's because it has a brand name compare to a unbranded or generic brand. At least if you have the Bushwacker fender flares your safe in case this item failed or fall off while using it compare to unbranded fender flares. Materials are not the same as they used that's why it's cheaper.
