I started nioh 2 recently and have fallen in love with the spear. Flying monkey has to be one of the coolest moves, especially when you spin down the spear and do insane anima damage if it connects.
It's a challenging weapon to utilize the full potential of, but man, is it fun to do so! Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you got something out of it.

But that's the fun of it; Nioh always has so much to offer, I don't think anyone is ever really done learning it.
I was super excited about this video until I saw you use water wheel. I turned it off after that... :D I'm kidding. Great showcase my friend! I particularly liked the fatal thrust finisher on Kosen
I combined rull red demon with ninigis grace and 'li' clan. I have some really nice results with it. A weight, A toughness with the clan, and a lot of KI dmg. Just raw damage and versatility. And the range of it saved my life many times. The push back of triple threat and the running charge attack works wonders against so many enemies who didn't engage yet. If you get stealth A from a soulcore you can poke those stupid ranged idiots to death before the main enemies can react and they get stabbed in the back aswell before the fight even begins.
I've been there. I used to watch some amazing players, try to pull off what I saw them do, fail, and wondered to goodness how they did it. There are a lot of components to the learning process. You have to understand your moveset, be comfortable enough mechanically to execute things such as Flux 1 and 2, understand your enemy enough to get a feel of how safe it is to extend your combos, and put it all together with a sprinkling of creativity, rounding it off with a solid helping of trial and error. In the end, it's a process that takes time. So go step by step, and you'll be able to pull off more and more cool things one after the other. It's a blast learning and getting better, and I hope you have fun with it!

I'd use it if I could have it on another, additional slot, but I prefer these light enders. They allow me to be more flexible and fluid. I still do swap to Tornado on some rare occasions, like when I'm fighting William.
Resounding Lunge might not be very good, but it's definitely fun. As for Tornado, I simply preferred other skills in the slots where it was available. The initial ground hit doesn't stun any more, IIRC, and I like having something with a bit more of an immediate payoff for chaining purposes, or more forward momentum/range to catch backdashes. If I had another free slot I'd use it, for sure.
@@thefilthydjinn5224 Heh, there are a lot of viable choices in terms of weapons, moves, soul cores, and so forth, in this game. Rarely will you ever find something that is too bad to be used, and conversely, lots of things are quite good, especially when they're used smartly. There's a lot of room to express yourself and play the way you really want to, with what you like. It's mostly just a question of learning how to use what you have on hand. I'd recommend messing around and experimenting to find your own groove, beyond simply doing what others say or do.
Hmm, in my personal experience, I feel like I have to stay on the ball to get the most out of it. It can also be a very technical and tricky weapon, which is precisely what I like about it, and how I want to play it.
I have to play with the spear as badly and ineffectively for to be correct? It looks like a fight for progressive values and the rights of people with disabilities, who also want to be cool players in nioh.

Never seen resounding lunge being put into good use before. But why no love for tornado?
