Every living being deserves to be in an environment where they are both safe and loved. I didn't even know that donkeys experienced post partum depression. I just goggled it and found out that dogs experience this as well. This video was heart warming and informative.
Please excuse my question. My problem is that mankind does not respect any animal and does not spend money on any animal that doesn't give him profit. As I see it to stop animals going extinct mankind will need to use them in someway. Our government's are eager to build home's on every field they can find. They don't seem to think about growing food. M

I recently saw this family and farm on tiktok with hurricane Milton feeds. I am glad they all were safe and managed to fight through the hurricane. These two are doing a wonderful thing in saving these donkeys.

Great Story. We had a hobby farm in GA for 10 years and raised 2 young donkeys who were such good pals and play buddies. They were so entertaining and spoiled like these are, and loved to terrorize the rest of the animals in the pasture with their zoomies. They were our main mental stabilizers during Covid!
@jjradV Who eats donkey meat? And... HUMANS are carnivores or omnivores. The problem is how we humans treat the animals we eat. In the animal kingdom, animals also eat other animals, but only to survive and not to live in abundance like us humans 🫠

Unfortunately she is a horrible parent to that foal. Horses and donkey NEED to be socialised with an by their own kind. If you have to raise a bottle baby, AT LEAST it has to be raised around other donkeys.

I have a donkey. She used to try to bite anybody that touched her. After I figured out she was lonely I bought her a horse. She now begs for attention. Saving an animal is something that will reward you. It will follow you forever. I love donkeys ❤

Fantastic story. We have 4 rescued Donkeys and they do a great job with our Horse herd. We love our Donkeys!
