I was allowed to feed a donkey and a buffalo when I was 10 or 11. They quickly became my pals and they also loved one another. Animals are probably meant to be much more a part of people’s lives than we realize.

We met wild donkeys in SD, they weren't what I expected. Ran up to us with their babies, fed mom peanut butter crackers, while my wife pet the babies.

the first time i ever saw some body lovingly talk 2 donkeys and playing music for them and the stories of the donkey being the guardian of the barn yard,i was in love!!they are a great asset i wish i had enough room for one.such a great gift from our creator!! love watching these type of human and animal relation.

I’m a farmer with basically every farm animal imaginable, donkeys are special, so are cows, people used to live. Ery closely with these animals, and it still completes a certain part of life
I sing to my rescue cats everyday. Each one has a theme song. 😊 They really seem to appreciate it too. It makes me very happy to make them happy.

We rescued a deaf cat and it pains me that we can't use sound to make her happier or help her understand things.
We still talk to her because she does perceive air movement, pheromones, etc., and we use signs and body language, and short sentences because she observes face movements.
My cat started attending meetings on Teams with me when we were all working from home. Everytime she heard my alarm reminding me, she'd ploppe herself right on my lap. I was told she needed to be part of every meeting going forward😊

After seeing the singing donkey video, I also started singing to my dogs and cat and one of my dogs rolls on her back and kicks her legs in the air. Cutest thing ever ♥️♥️♥️
All animals are just awesome. It sucks so many die for trivial or required reasons, you kinda wish they would all live optimal lives but i think more people today are becoming more pet friendly, animal conscious, and more conscience in general.

My mother had 2 donkeys when I was a young teenager. I was tasked with looking after them (feeding/watering etc) as well as our horses, chickens, ducks, dogs etc.
I loved the donkeys. We had a pretty long driveway to walk after getting off the school bus. There is a little hill between the highway and our house and as I'd crest the hill, the donkeys would be at the yard gate waiting to see me come over the hill and would immediately start hee-haw'ing. They'd do this almost every day when I'd get home from school.
No matter how badly any day was, my heart was warmed and I was full of laughter when greeted by the sound of these two donkeys carrying on. It was comical. I loved them both.

My son worked at the BLM for a while. They brought in wild donkeys snd wild horses. One of the donkeys birthed a little one after arrival. The baby had a pink cast to her, so they named her Pinky. Anyway my son fell in love with this baby and the baby fell in love with my son. Calling for him when she saw him from a distance and running towards him. After a while and because of Pinky’s smarts she was sent off to be trained to pull a cart. I learned a little bit about donkey’s during this time. I learned donkeys are the most social to people than all the other hoofed animals. If you can keep them they make great pets and if you were to get one from the BLM the cost is very affordable. 😊

I’ve never seen anyone holding a donkey like a baby before! My grandfather owned a donkey when I was a child and I loved it the best! I called it the bunny horse because of it’s long ears.
You are so right about donkeys they are so sweet and talk about smart. They are just like dogs perhaps even smarter. I have been in love with donkeys for quite a few years and wish I had land and a place to keep at least two. Your babies are adorable. Their smiles and affection is off the chart priceless. I think the creepy people that are abusing and slaughtering such beautiful animals should get the same done to them. I don't know how they could look into the innocent face of any animal and do what they do to them. Even hunters. But I say tysvm for sharing this beautiful video and letting us visit them in the video please post some others if you have them, I could watch them all day.

I've been noticing several videos about donkeys for some months, and I have fallen madly in love! Seeing this particular one just did me in; they are so ADORABLE, loveable, sweet and friendly, I feel I could spend all day with them, hugging, telling them stories, and singing to them, just the way you do. I volunteered at a donkey sanctuary. These are the most beautiful creatures, no wonder our Lord Jesus Christ rode a donkey on his way to his death, and the Virgin Mary rode a donkey on her way to giving birth to our Lord.
They are an animal who are abused worldwide, an animal that is SO affectionate towards humans given the right care, and SO intelligent.
They have a "Cross" on their backs, how perfect is this?
Donkeys do not like to be alone, they like to have a "friend" that they bond with. And if separated from their "friend" they become quite distraught.
They love to have their ears scratched, they will approach you in a friendly manner, unlike many other animals.
