Yep. We call them goggle-eye in the south. Why, I'm not really sure... But they taste good and put up a good fight. Kinda look like a bream or crappie got bred with a bass somehow, in some messed up experiment. They're cool fish though

Have you done a video on trackers. I'd like to hear about that. Someday I'd like to own a boat. I've heard mixed reviews about them and the biggest complaint I've heard is they're too expensive. I did look up a few other makes but you have to buy the trailer separate and they didn't have live wells and no trolling motor. You add all that up its about as much as a tracker in price
Fish @ 3:47 is a Warmouth, they look sort of similar to a Rock Bass. You can tell the difference by counting the spines on the anal fin. Warmouth have 3 spines, and Rock Bass have 6. Nice multi-species day for you guys!
I use lite 2 and 4 pound test line also, if you would use a rear drag spinning reel like a Shimano with a fighting drag,you would not have to run with your drag so backed off, you are not getting a proper hook set. Check out the Shimano Spirex RG, the fighting drag with lite line is the way to go.
