i have a couple of those. Best time to use them is at night. They make a lot of vibration in the water and fish will slam it. Only issue i had with them was the little fish would end up biting of the tales so it got smaller and smaller. Great Video
Nice vid. Not trying to bash anyone here but I've only been fishing for bass for about 2 yrs. Within the first summer, I've personally caught quite a few bass with 8" and 10", and most recently 12" worms. More than a few of those have either been the size of or smaller than the worm itself. My point is, bass are extremely aggressive creatures and aren't scared to gobble down a bait their size or even bigger! So, seeing this doesn't surprise me in the least. And the reason why you don't need an extra long mammoth sized hook is because, 9 times out of 10, when a bass wants to eat a worm, it's going for the head, not the tail. Fish on!
i really like your videos, because you really enjoy what you do. i really apprecciate that your not only looking for the biggest fish in the Pond. I'm from Austria and carpfishing is very popular here. People tend to Not be Happy about small fish anymore. I also caught myself looking for bigger and bigger carp because it's good for the Ego. That's not how fishing should be! I think you have kept the "Spirit" of fishing quite Well!
The only worm Madison is worried about is yours Nick. Let her catch it. Then play it a little bit. Don't be so concerned with the prize at the end. Focus on the battle and get better every day at it. She will keep taking that lure if you play it right. 😜
Totally unexpected. If you were in Florida.... I wouldn't have given it a second thought but You are not in Florida.... or Texas, or California so I didn't think you would catch anything..... So good on you!
Haha now thats what I'm talking about! Should be sold as a snake bait cause I've never seen a worm of that stature. Awesome stuff Nick and til next time 🤙
I've used these worms before and caught bass on them. Was very surprise at some of the sizes I caught. Mostly 2-3lb bass but it did produce a few 6-7lb bass. I used just a 5/0 hook. Don't think you need to go soooo big.
Nick, when you get to 400-600 thousand subs, people are going to look back at these old videos and wonder why they hadn't subbed earlier. Love your videos, keep it up.
Nick if u ever try this again i have a tip... add another hook like you would a trailer hook on a spinnerbait and your hookup ratio should be better when you get bit👍🙃
keep up the great content and the big bait challenges. these challenges made me want to try big swim bait fishing and I caught my PB largemouth 6.4 pounds. thanks for making these videos and entertaining the viewers.
i have fished a 13 inch weightless worm just under the surface several times and caught bass shorter than the worm always let them run with it a few seconds always assume its going to be a bigger fish but you'll be surprised
Before I hit play I was like "That's what she said, that's what she said, that's what she said," just to get it out of my system. Always love your vids Nick, you do a phenomenal job.
Nice biggest lure i used was a 10 inch swim tail worm caught 3 8inch bass before it fell off. Rather than bieng disappointed I was actually excited to have caught them.
I like to fish the big worms in the rivers and in ponds and to help hook them tie the hook and then but the worm on and make it to were the hook is further down the worm
snell the first hook and tie a second hook 5-inches down the tag so you can rig another hook in the center of the worm
Thats a great idea
Yuck
Snell? Former pitcher for TB Rays?
Crazy big worm. Like the outtakes.
YES PLEASE KEEP THESE GOING, WE KNOW ITS EXPENSIVE, BUT THE BIG BAIT AND MICROSCOPIC BAITS ARE OUR FAVORITE SERIES OF VIDEOS.
I'm not sure what I'm more impressed with. Completing the challenge or stay persistent enough for over a days with no bites. Props to you.
YES THE BIG BAIT CHALLENGES ARE BACK

Nice another big bait challenge!!! Definitely my favorite series of yours.
Please continue the big bait challenges, I LOVE them!!
Fish it like a snake on topwater
AlecChrz have had great success doing that with 13 inch worms
John Bracewell how do you rig it
Oh yea yea just the longest worm hook Walmart has lol texas rig with out the weight
yep, I've seen them eat snakes and head first
YES MAN! I love the big bait challenge vids
Great video man! That worm is awesome! Enjoyed the video.
Been waiting all week.👌🏾👍🏾😀

Have u tried a Salmo Hornet? Its a tiny lure (1.5cm) and catches everything!!!! Really suggested u try one!
I was doubtful you get a fish, but you did. Great job
Really enjoy the big bait challenges. Maybe try one of the 8inch + savage gear swim baits. Relatively cheap as well
3:57 huh that's a peculiar pond shape.
no way love this series!
Your channel deserves way more subs!!
I love you and you are always so good at fishing 🎣
Wacky rig one lol
i Bee Amazin the action on that would be crazy😂

challenge videos were better than endless spillway videos tbh.
Awesome video! I would have never thought that would have caught a bass! Great job and great editing
And what song do you use when you walk across the cornfield into the opening?
No se si entiendas el español,pero quiero decirte que eres de mis RUclipsrs favoritos y se nota la pasion por la pesca en tus videos!Saludos.
I just got a pack of the crème coachwhips do you think it would work in new York?????
I've used these worms before and caught bass on them. Was very surprise at some of the sizes I caught. Mostly 2-3lb bass but it did produce a few 6-7lb bass. I used just a 5/0 hook. Don't think you need to go soooo big.
3 days of trying, thats what i call dedication!!
What your doing next, catching sunfish with saltwaterpoppers? 😀
Should go back to some big/strange baits love these
shoulda gave it a few deeper casts... i think they are better in deep water
Those huge worms work really good even the little fish bite them they have won a lot of tournaments with them
used the fishing topwater in south florida freshwater. they worked fine for big bass.
Awesome video you should fish in ireland one day!
May I suggest that for your next big bait. use a huge buzzbait.. the kind you use for muskie
Nick, when you get to 400-600 thousand subs, people are going to look back at these old videos and wonder why they hadn't subbed earlier. Love your videos, keep it up.
Yes my favorite challenges
What kind of drone is that and do you fly that drone or somebody else does it?
Nick if u ever try this again i have a tip... add another hook like you would a trailer hook on a spinnerbait and your hookup ratio should be better when you get bit👍🙃
That was a pretty big fish good vid 😄
Been hoping for this video
keep up the great content and the big bait challenges. these challenges made me want to try big swim bait fishing and I caught my PB largemouth 6.4 pounds. thanks for making these videos and entertaining the viewers.
a pennell rig will help you cover the bait hook wise and any bites you can hit instantly
Love the content man
Damn sorry Nick I'm late. Was building a fence and didn't even get a chance to fish before sundown. This video hit the spot tho for me. Doggy.
Hi Madison!! Was wondering where you got off to!
Finally after soooooo long
u should try it with stinger hooks like u use when pike fishing
i have fished a 13 inch weightless worm just under the surface several times and caught bass shorter than the worm always let them run with it a few seconds always assume its going to be a bigger fish but you'll be surprised
Dude u seriously deserve more subscribers the editing and content is spot on
I always thought they were for fishing deep
Jeremy Newhouse or at night
They work great now into summer dragging across points and drops
That's for a 15-20 pound bass right there
hey what rod and reel setup are you using in this video
Before I hit play I was like "That's what she said, that's what she said, that's what she said," just to get it out of my system. Always love your vids Nick, you do a phenomenal job.
Me everytime a 618 fishing video ends: See ya later buddy!
Yeaaaa, do more of these
I sent you some flies a few months ago. I was wondering if they ever got to you? Cool video keep up the challenges!
Nice biggest lure i used was a 10 inch swim tail worm caught 3 8inch bass before it fell off. Rather than bieng disappointed I was actually excited to have caught them.
The music that you play is lit
They work well in Florida and Texas lakes where pigs are known to thrive.
Thank you! I was getting tired of the micro fishing!
the day has come big bait challenge
I must say, your taste of music is awesome!
What I’ve commented on about every video asking for is finally back!!!
On Toledo bend I fish these worms a ton and you’d be surprised how small a fish I’ve had swallow the whole thing
What pliers do you use?
Have you seen the big pike swimbaits made by luckylures?
Love the channel!
Good catch, I make and sell that same worm, mine come 10 to a bag
Add a stinger hook too?
Ur so chill man
I got 2 from bps for like 2 dollars each, think theyre 16" black and junebug
Stinger hooks. And they usually hit the "head" of you roll slow enough
Have to use two of them worm hooks with a 6-inch leader in between of them
Come on Nick we need to see some "stinky bait challenges!" 💩💩😷😁👍🇺🇸
Why didn't you get up to the snags by the trees? There's a guy out west who uses these and has caught more big bass than most people
uunch love this.
You’d be surprised with two big worms the hookup ratio isn’t as bad as you would think. Fish tend to hit baits head first
Dope combo
They catch some big bass. I use them for saltwater stripers
I like to fish the big worms in the rivers and in ponds and to help hook them tie the hook and then but the worm on and make it to were the hook is further down the worm
See ya later buddy 👍love the videos
Where abouts you from? New subscriber, I live in Troy.
String some hooks through the worm, or something like a stinger perhaps?
