"Don't make me angry you wouldn't like it when I'm angry" LOL!!!!... Man they were loving those cranks the bass and crappie!!! Another thumbs up on the video buddy!!!👍👍👍😀😀🎣🎣
After watching quite a few of your videos I think my favorite content are your struggles. I.e motor won’t start, pole comes apart, hook gets caught in your anchor rope. You’re not afraid to leave that stuff in and I respect the hell out of that. Thanks for making awesome videos and thanks for representing the normal angler. #thestruggleisreal
Saw your video about micro cranks to use and went out and bought the last 3 of this exact crank at Walmart yesterday after work lol gonna try it out after work tonight...keep up the great work Davis!!!
That lure was the first one I ever bought years and years ago, like 6. It slays in all kinds of conditions where I fish there are tons of shad schools and its a great crappie lake
Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing your fishing experience on the water. The crankbait bite can at times produce very big crappie with the right conditions.
I think I had pretty good conditions with the cloud cover and a little bit of chop. I probably wouldn't use this on a blue bird sky type of day. Thanks for watching!
I just discovered your channel due to the crappie challenge video that you did with 3 other guys. I was glad to see that your pole came apart and that you had a couple of line twists. Those are things that happen to me, so I could definitely relate. I also plan to try the micro crankbaits. I currently use jigs or minnows for crappie, but I plan to add crankbaits to the list.
So I beat the water to death with a beetle spin last night and nothing happening. Switched to a micro-crank bait and in the same water BANG! Only in five feet running parallel to the weed line. Every hit was on the pause just like in your video. I was using a perch pattern that was just awesome. Its crappie and eggs for breakfast this morning. Thanks Davis!
Tengo 2 señuelos de 2' no los he usado, después de ver tú video me animaré a usarlos para la pesca de las crappies, gracias por el tip, ésto me anima para pescar con confianza, sabiendo que funcionarán, además de que son igualitos a los de tú video.
Rebel is the best mini's for years for trout fishing 🎣 and some time sunfish your using my favorite color of crank bait. Now so many copies out there. Timu 6lbs is my best line for this mini lures or tiny spinner's light tackle is the best thing just fun. I don't fish lakes much maybe once every year maybe 🤔 I should start doing it more.
Great vid as always, I'm in Florida and haven't run into any 12" crappies but we catch 12" bluegills on the regular on them crankbaits and rooster tails
12" Bluegill is GIANT! I would love to catch some like that. I think I'm going to try some rooster tails the next time I get on the water. Thanks for Watching!
Well, if the fish are starting to school up in the deeper weed edges along inside turns (the corner of the shoreline before it creates a point), I would start with a search bait (crankbait, beetle spin) to find exactly where the school is. Then once you find them, throw a slip bobber and minnow/jig.
That stretch in the mono is not really great for casting and retrieving, i learned the hard way. I have a 6 foot uglystik gx2 with 10lb super slick braid for casting out anything. I use it for catfish as well.
Well if it's less than 6 ft depth I would use either a basic jig and tube with a bobber. This way you can suspend the tube above the weeds without getting snagged. I would also use an beetlespin (like the one i used in the berkley minnow video) or an underspin. I would try to keep both the underspin and beetle spin just above the tops of the weeds.
I noticed that your hooks were sticking together on your crankbait I will give you a pointer use a smaller treble hook for the front of the crankbait and that will solve your problem
Yes, I use rubber bobber stops most of the time now, and they go through even when fishing with the 10-12ft rods. They are the larger guides not the micro guides you see on some jig poles or bass rods. If your interested I have a 10% discount code you can use: FC10
@@FloppingCrappie fantastic, i have used all the bobber stops and the yellow rubber ones are my go to. Seems like a lot of crappie rod companies overlook this and use small diameter tips. Thanks for discount code.
Flopping Crappie Just had one yesterday and got 2nd yet again... it won't be long before I'll be back in 1st.... the guys that beat me live on the lake so they are always my biggest competitor....
You must not watch enough because Flopping Crappie is very informative! And he makes mistakes like we all do, proving he is only human and trying his best. Take your negativity elsewhere.

Gotta struggle to ge better. Thanks for watching!
This is one of my favorite crank baits in general I’ve caught so many species with it!
Same !!
Caught a 2 pound largemouth on this exact one today

crappie magnets and the 1.5 inch lunkerhunt maybugs work great for crappies and trout

I can’t get this technique to work on the lake but ponds I fish its excellent.Thanks.

Good luck, and let me know how they work for you. Thanks for watching!
Always look forward to viewing your videos!! Keep them coming.
You are making me feel better with the lure breaking free and the rod coming apart. I can empathize. We’re also in Wisconsin, in Wausau.
haha, it happens. thanks for watching!
One of my favorite micro cranks for crappie is actually a crawfish pattern from Cordell.
Amazing *Video* Congratulations Fisherman, Have a very successful week and good fishing.👍🎣🐟
Suellen Gonçalves - Pesca Esportiva thanks! You too!

UWP! Grew up 20 miles from Platteville. Keep up the good work and great videos.
I actually just got the exact crankbait and saw this vid. Amazing video dude
Thanks

out of the 15 lures iv'e tried these are the only things that catch fish at my local pond
Same, these lures kill it at my local pond
Just found your channel this is my style of fishing "keep it up"
Thanks!
I limited out on white bass on that very same color and crankbait last winter.
I use a lot of micro crankbaits ( 1 inch ) and mini crankbaits (1.5 inches ) . Lots of fun.
That's called a sexy shad color. Probably why the bass were all over it too. Classic large mouth color. Cool video.
Thanks for watching!

I get the same size
THANKS FOR SHARING
thanks for watching!
Great vid man. These crappie remind me of the sunfish I caught today. They had pretty turquoise spots on them.
sound like Rio Grand perch
I've caught big smallmouth on the craw color ones, and killed the white bass n crappie on the chrome. They are sleeper little cranks
Picked up your channel from SK's Crappie Fishing Channel. Love catching crappie on crank baits. Thanks from Jerry Routh (FISH4FUN).

I'm getting exhausted just watching him
Me too
What would you recommend for summer fishing at a lake? Around some weedy areas. Great videos!
Well, if the fish are starting to school up in the deeper weed edges along inside turns (the corner of the shoreline before it creates a point), I would start with a search bait (crankbait, beetle spin) to find exactly where the school is. Then once you find them, throw a slip bobber and minnow/jig.
Flopping Crappie Thanks!
Great video. Are those Arkie 220 series Crankbaits? Not real clear in the video.
I'm pretty sure they were. I think that's the only brand of crankbait at the Walmart I bought them.
I get around 2lb bass on the silver and black one of those all the time! Lol I have another secret for crappie though lol
I'll have to try the silver and black next time on out there.
That stretch in the mono is not really great for casting and retrieving, i learned the hard way. I have a 6 foot uglystik gx2 with 10lb super slick braid for casting out anything. I use it for catfish as well.
What do you recommend using in shallow weedy areas for crappie
Well if it's less than 6 ft depth I would use either a basic jig and tube with a bobber. This way you can suspend the tube above the weeds without getting snagged. I would also use an beetlespin (like the one i used in the berkley minnow video) or an underspin. I would try to keep both the underspin and beetle spin just above the tops of the weeds.

Rodney Johnston thanks for the tip. I'll try that next time.
Dang I haven’t caught a crappie yet on same lure, I bought 56 lures at Walmart on sale
Bluegill love micro cranks I never caught bluegill on em but I’ve seen bluegill chase them
I don't think I've ever caught a bluegill on a crankbait before, it probably would make for an interesting video. Thanks for watching!
Red breast sunfish destroy crankbaits
I tried it with the ultra light minnow in chrome and caught pike that swallowed it hooks in top and bottom
That's awesome! careful with those pike.. they got some big teeth. Thanks for watching!
Love the new 7.6 ACC CrappieStix. Now my favorite.
Dennis Haire I agreed. That and the 8ft are perfect casting rods. Thanks for watching!
My friend Put a small hooks on the front of the bait Sell your hook for not get hooked up
How are the guide and tip diameters on the acc rods? Would a rubber bobber stop go threw?
Yes, I use rubber bobber stops most of the time now, and they go through even when fishing with the 10-12ft rods. They are the larger guides not the micro guides you see on some jig poles or bass rods. If your interested I have a 10% discount code you can use: FC10

Was that a black bass beyatch .
Varivas makes good braided line.
I'll have to check them out, thanks for watching!
use that tiny crank b all the time. good search lure.
WGSD W/ MIKE JR. Yes it is, I'm going to try different color patterns next time I'm on the water. Thanks for watching!
Which gear ratio for this crankbait??
I found that mirco crank bait at walmart and picked it up
I hammer crappie here in madison wi with the same crankbaits. Creme makes some about half that size and they work great too. Good video.
Nice catchn.... nothin like figuring a technique the crappie like then execute..... stay on'em....
SK's CRAPPIE Catchn Adventures thanks. How's the tournaments been going for you?

DAMN bubba, lay off the "Cocaine" before you go fishing!
Haha, is that a new flavor of red bull?
Does that crankbait dive deep?
It said it dives to a max of 6ft on the lure.
Thanks for the fast reply and another great video! 👍
Thanks!
Try the bittsey minnow by strike king
U sound like lunkers tv crazy
Definitely drank to much red bull before this video.
Son, where I live our brim are bigger than that.
We're not know for big crappie upnorth, mostly big walleye, smallmouth, and muskie
I'm new to ur channel just sub
I feel like your camera is set to 30 FPS, if you change it to 60 the video will be a lot smoother.
its set to 24fps. I only use 60fps for slow motion b-roll
I have a cabin on a lake in 715 that gets 16”crappie in it
Those are some monster crappie for Wisconsin
I’ve also caught a 54 3/4”, 51lb Muskie out of it and my dads cousin caught several 27” walleye in it too.
It’s a small lake with huge fish
How many feet of water were you fishing?
I was catching them anywhere between 8-12 feet. The crankbait was diving 4-6 feet down. Thanks for watching!
I never buy 2 piece rods
What about 3 piece? You could get the 16ft ACC crappie stix
Sponsored by red bull?
Haha, I wish. Could use the gas money. Thanks for watching!
braid for cranks? no....
sarcasm???
Liked the video. Disliked pronunciation of crappie
I’m unsubscribing, this dude is a soup sandwich. What a goof.
RJ Fisher soup sandwich? What is that?
