    Awesome! Love the tip about leaving a little in reserve. "You can breathe, or you can shoot. But you cannot do both." Clint Smith

    Great video! I have been doing everything you mentioned. Next month in Raton, NM will be my first TTG. Like you said before. Im using my first TTG as a basis to see where im at. I'm not looking to place 1st, but just to see where my weak points are and my strengths. Im really looking forward to it. Thanks again.

    Sensei Kit Badger speaking the truth. Thanks for your previous advice too. I got my CrossFit coaches on board to get me physically better to do this. Also it’s not a just a Marine thing, Army does it too 😉.

    The stowing the weapon part is super important when we had a squad tactical game kinda like how the one you did minus for weight carried they put the fattest person we had on a litter then we had to run him a mile. I had a bad bruise from muzzle thumping myself over and over again. Btw good job placing on that hell ya man. I got way out of shape after the army. I need to get it back. As for the training aspect for the tactical games. What you seem to be doing to get ready is what looks like army/marine PT plus lifting. P.S. I notice army guys after army either get really in shape, really fat, and a small percent stay average. EVERY ex marine I've met in the 4 years I've been out is either built like a brick shit house or personifies the lean mean fighting machine. The only exception being guys that got injured.

    Do you do any kind of physical training? You look like you're in pretty darned good shape. I'm 53 years old and very interested in the games, just not sure if I'm physically up to the task. Do you think crossfit would be a good training platform for the games?

    Ivan, I like the badger head tee - what size should i get if my chest size is 44?
    the sizing chart doesn't list chest size like most do.
    and if you don't mind what size are you wearing and what is your chest measurement, I might be able to better judge from that.

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  5 лет назад

      You'll probably want a large. Medium is like 38"-41" I believe, which is what I wear. I'm pretty sure my chest is around 38/39. Large should go up to 35".

    Why didn’t use your JPC in the gym and tactical games?

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  5 лет назад

      Because they had a old "Crossfit" 5.11 carrier with 15lbs steel plates that lives at the gym. And as far as the games, it gave me the opportunity to try something new. I'll be posting a review on it.

    • @levlev4603
      @levlev4603 5 лет назад +1

      @@KitBadger What else you usually use plate carrier for? running?
      Does cordura fabric absorb sweat ? Do you wash it regularly?

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  5 лет назад

      Cordura can get pretty nasty. You can wash it though. Personally, I rarely use plate carriers without reason. That one in the video is a gym one for whoever happens to want to do some weighted whatever. Mine I will occasionally train with on the range, but not as much any more since I stopped contracting.

    How are you liking the RMA on a rifle?

    • @KitBadger
      @KitBadger  5 лет назад

      For size and weight they are pretty handy. Because of the exposed emitter, it probably isn't the best "work gun" set up, but I do like it.

    Very cool. I am looking forward to my first event in May here in California. I am hitting the gym though because I have a goal to get a little stronger and healthier this year (same as every year but the Tac games are giving me a goal to shoot for) but was planning on just using it as a way to get a benchmark on where I stand in my own abilities. So looking forward to it.
