This monster is so creepy, to me it just feels like there’s nothing right with it. That never ending gaze, the strange colour scheme, and those wings that it practically uses as hands. Its so abnormal, which makes me feel that Capcom really nailed the message or vibe they were trying to give off with this monster.
Billy Siravo You’re going to have to ask Capcom for that buddy XD. Personally, I think they were trying to make this monster the perfect elder dragon by making it so abnormal that it does not occupy any ecological niche or fit any sort of physical description to a point where you just can’t figure out what it’s supposed to be. I mean, where in the world would a winged hand pressured air firing dragon that can vibrate its wings to turn rock into dust fit in, I have no idea. BUT, that’s just what I think, so feel free to agree or disagree!
Laughing Boi I mean it does stare at the camera when it’s eyes are open. Personally I think this thing knew about the strongest elder dragons, the Black Dragons, and wanted to surpass them. Exploiting all of nature in the process, learning its world is futile because WE, the PLAYER, hunt every truly threatening beast in the world of monster hunter. So instead of brashly going on an assault, it waited. And then, Xeno appeared, exploiting nature just like he was, then Zorah came possibly seeking to wipe out Xeno... which would’ve left Shara untouched. And then, Nergigante, the unsung hero of nature appeared, seeking to end all three. But we finished that problem for him... or so he thought. Who knows? Maybe Shara Ishvalda planned all of the events in World, expecting every effect of his own actions? Except his fate of course... unless that, too, was the dragons more then likely insidious design? It has been stated that the Elder Dragons are close to human intellect, some even surpassing us.
I dunno if there's any relation, but doesn't the Elder's Recess kinda look like a crater on the map? Same as the island we fight Shara on? And we know it followed the Everstream in a spiral that originated there. I hate being the "alien" guy here but what if it crashed down there, fed on the Everstream, hibernated (hence the rock coating) and then woke up after the enormous energy burst that Xeno'jiva's awakening cued, or the massive amount of bioenergy the dying Zorah Magdaros released?
It's come full circle. Regular Nergi wanted to eat Zorah Magdaros but couldn't because of the rocks, Ruiner Nergi wanted to eat Shara Ishvalda but couldn't because of the rocks.
Fighting Shara for the first time with 0 spoilers was an EXPERIENCE. The thing that scares me the most about Shara isn't its Eyes, like most people say, it's the teeth. I'm kinda surprised that more people aren't talking about it. Shara's teeth are flat. Somehow I feel like if Shara had more traditional looking sharp fangs like, nearly every other monster in the game, he wouldn't make me so uneasy. The real question is why does it use sound ou pressured air ? Is it using it to break rock in order to eat ? But why be able to turn sand into rock and rock back to sand ? Why was it in the Everstream ? Was it forever there ? TRUE QUESTIONS. But great to wonder about.
A variety of monsters consume minerals, like Gravios or Uragaans, since this creepy boy was embedded into the everstream I’m sure it was feeding itself from the crystals that the bioenergy produces. Also, it uses sound waves to literally manipulate the tectonic plates, why? I dunno but it was making a mess in the whole new world
It puts this theme above his second phase's for me the main games (save gen) since Tri have always done good in making their final story bosses atmospheric and intimidating in all the right ways- They do what good final boss themes should, show how far you've come as the player but also presenting the boss as your final(even if it isn't which is often the case in these games) challenge and the grandest and most perilous yet -I luv it

Alright when I saw this thing's face, I didn't immediately thought of the eyes I couldn't think of anything but this: The face is extremely human like, (body color is fleshy as well) and this elder uses his "wings" like hands, and the way his legs are makes me think of a bent knee. With how it can bring down mountains, turn the earth to a sandpit and such. He probably could be
he isnt tho
he's one of the 5 dragons mentioned in the Book of MHW
this just reminds me of majora
This boss rocks
Shara Ishvalda, staring right through the screen, sees what you did there.
BIG ROCK
i had an interesting lore theory on ishvalda...a wyverian that had tried to master the power of the fatalis' but could not contain it. falling into darkness and chaos the wyverians "new" powers took hold. transforming the wyverian into a twisted amalgamation seen as shara ishvalda.. the wings. they are more like hands...but that face? that face looks more human like than dragon
Eh, fatalis is basically the mewtwo of MonHun. His accomplishments and power have been severely outclassed by the newer elder dragons.
@@rageinducer2455 That-........is probably the most accurate comment on Fatalis i think i'll ever see.

This Is Literally Egyptian Beats
@Wormz 175 It’s more Hindu style than Egyptian.
Anyone else hear part of Goku Black's theme around 2:28 ?
My sleep paralysis demon come to life
Is it just me or does the bit starting at 0:50 sound familiar? I don’t remember exactly what but it sounds waaaay too similar to another boss theme in world.
_ scüp I wonder if there’s any bits of the Xeno theme I may have missed.
Kulve Taroth
Apparently, while this may not be a World creature, it holds resemblance to Resident Evil's "Suspended Doll" theme.
@@Farantir1 oh you're right!!
Am really the only one who likes Shara Ishvalda’s look?
Valstrax!? Are you ok?

Why does shara Ishvalda remind me of a combination of Junkrat, groot, and a dragon?
Patrick pet.
I dont know why but I brefer thish over phase 2
Reminds me of the old Godzilla movie

Am I the only one who slightly shat their pants at the first 15 seconds/
1:28 1:32 1:41
So... a frontier soundtrack on an Aragami
Am I the only one who gets jojo vibes from certain parts of the music?
Am i the only one to hear the theme of the exorcist ?
I dub the encounter with Shara Ishvalda as “Finally, something slower than I am”.
Haven't fought it as a hammer main yet. Will I be able to reach the fucker or should I just abuse the clutchclaw?
Knife Penge a combo of clutch claw and great sword would be best. Hammer is fine, but the first part of the fight will take forever to finish.
@@MrShisuto Got it, thanks for the heads'up ^^
Knife Penge oh and tremor resistance goes a long way.
