My method is a simplified variation of the cord used to make Romanian Point Lace. Please note: if you're looking for instructions for Romanian Point Lace cord, this is not how to make it!

At last !!! Thank you. You highlighted the V of the stitch and showed the vertical stitch to use in front of it. I have lost count of how many videos I've watched with this cord crocheting. I just couldn't get it. Last few days it has frustrated me and I just couldnt work out why I just ended up with a knotted mess. Now I always check I'm doing it right by looking for the 2 stitches at front of the V. Finally getting it right 👍 Thank you 😁
You're very welcome, Jenny - I'm so glad my highlighting helped you figure it out 😊
WOW!! as someone who's not a huge fan of making i-cords, this style of cord is a game changer! loving how this looks. thank you for sharing! 🙏
This tutorial was like a breath of fresh air. My cord is turning out so much better than it was before. I realize I am a very visual learner 😂😭😭
Aww, thank you!
Wowwww thanks. You gave me some ideas😅😅😅😂😂❤
Thank you, June. You're were clear, and to the point. Love the effect of visually highlighting the important and critical stiches. You made it so easy! Enjoyed your British accent as well as your soothing voice. Kudos!
Absolutely love the color you added to the stitches to show exactly which part you were talking about
Thank you soooo much! this video is the first one that makes since and by highlighting the stich you are referring to in the beginning help so much more then any other video I've watched
Thank you! I finally get it now :-) The highlighting, moderate pace and clear instruction made the process so easy to understand!
Lol! I was just attempting a crocheted I-cord when I came upon this video! Ripped out my work and started this! MUCH easier!! Thank you!
I absolutely love her video...the way she highlights the stitches and such makes it so easy to follow!!! Have a God day~Trina & Heekango~Arizona, USA
3 am, I'm annoyed by a pattern, I'm about to put it aside and do something else, but you existence made the whole project enjoyable again. Thank you 🤗
I actually love this channel you take time to really explain, not subtitles, and you HIGHLIGHT stitches😭I can’t tell you how many times I messed up cause they would go fast and not explain what stitch and I have to rewatch some videos on slow playback but yours is absolutely wonderful.
Omg thank you! Five videos later I finally ran across yours and caught on. Thank you for highlighting and doing it at a detailed pace for us to understand it! ❤️
Oh my Goddesses! I love it. I can't make an I-cord too many thumbs I guess.😅 But this I can do and the highlighting really helps. No extra thumbs in the way with this beautiful cord . I am using it today to make feet on a prehistoric bird and a little pocket doll's arms and legs. And I learned something new today so I can check that box for the day.Ty
You're very welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed my tutorial 😊
I very much appreciate how you highlighted the important areas to be sure we were identifying the correct pieces of the yarn. This was very fun and much easier to learn than I at first thought it would be!

Thanks! Had to go through several videos before finding yours. Your graphic for identifying the correct loops is genius. Should be compulsory for all crochet videos. I'm a fan forever!
I'm so glad you like it! As far as I know, I'm the only person to do that. It takes much longer to make the video, but I think it's worth it to make the techniques completely clear :)

Love this cord...my favourite for my bags...have you got a special way of joining them as I am doing crossbody bags? Thanks so much 🧶🌺
Thank you Jane, you explain wonderfully, I got it!!!!!
Excellent tutorial. I learned to make the cord years ago to make Romanian Point Lace, but the explanation of how to start the cord was very complicated with bad pictures (it was a printed version). I could never remember it when I started a new project. You have made it perfectly clear! I really appreciate your tutorial! Thank you! I see more lace projects in my future.😀👏
June Gilbank, thanks for the tip. I’ll have to see if I can figure out the difference and make the correct beginning. Good to have your tip before I wasted a lot of work! Best regards, Peggy

excellent tutorial, can't wait to try it and make one for my just turned teenage granddaughter. its hard to find something I can craft for this age. one suggestion is how do you complete the cord into a bracelet. Thanks for all you wonderful tutorials.

Hello! I was wondering how you turn this into a bracelet like how you showed at the beginning? That'd be lovely! Thanks
I'm with everyone else!! You are extremely proficient in explaining! Very easy to follow, not too fast or slow & great voice!!! Thank you!!
Now a question, what gauge hook are you using? THANK YOU again!
KK :) THANK YOU! Yeah, my grandmother started teaching me when I was 6 & just recently got back into it (I'm 50!!! lol) just wanted it as close to yours as I could be. Instead of testing was lazy & asked lol
After she died I lost my interest b/c it was something we did together. Thanks again!
you have a wonderful tutorial voice, a pleasure to listen to, thanks!
Thank you june! Great tutorial.
After taking a beginner class at Michaels I am "hooked". Saw this video and was glad it was easy to follow, especially for a beginner such as myself. If I wanted to make this a bracelet or necklace, how would you attach to clasp? Thanks in advance for the tips!
Merci June pour cette explication simple et claire!!!bonne continuation
Ty very easy to follow ur directions. Liked the highlighting!

Finally! Got it thanks
I love this cord! I use it for a lot of things, but.. my is always twisting! How do you keep yours from twisting?
Very beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing ❤

This is a great tutorial. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much ❤ I finally did it 😂🎉
Yay, well done! 👍
muito obrigada..adorei esse ponto!!
Amazing ! You did well on explaining..THANKYOU
thank you very much , the way you explain is the best .
I saw in your pattern to use mercerized cotton in DK/light #3 yarn, or size 3 crochet thread.. I have size 3 crochet thread and your bracelet photos .. the yarn or thread looks much thicker than when I begin the cord.. I don't understand how it looks so much thicker if you used size 3
thank you
I agree with the other comments! Thank you So Much!! I wanted something for a necklace like this, Perfect!
