When Greg Oden was taken as the number 1 pick in the NBA draft over Kevin Durant, nobody anticipated how much his career would be limited by injury after injury. From a hip surgery in middle school to a fractured kneecap and 3 microfracture surgeries, Greg Oden was one of a kind on a basketball court and his medical history was also like none other in NBA history. I've been following the Greg Oden story since it began when he was drafted, and this is by far the best, most detailed analysis of what happened.
If I had your videos when I was a teenager, it would have inspired be to be interested in studying medicine.
I'm sure you inspire the future doctors of the world.
Aside from pure entertainment and education, your videos are really making a change in people's lives. Both those who may become doctors because of them, and athletes who can better understand the dangers in their sports and how to avoid them. Thanks doc!

The young man simply did Not have Legs built to withstand a Pro Basketball season.
He had all the talent in the world, but without any awareness of how to train & develop his legs he was bound for injury after injury.
Sports & Exercise Science has improved abit in the last decade so a young man can train in a manor to fortify their legs for the long haul of a season if they care to seek out the knowledge.
