- This week we tried overlanding in Japan! A different form of van life - or is it camping?! Either way, it's been an adventurous dream of ours for a while now and we thought- what better country do experience it in other than Japan!
This powerful 4x4 could take us around any area of Japan with ease - so of course, we chose the mountains! Steeps hills and terrain, this was nothing for this Land rover defender 90.
Join us as we adventure into the Japanese alps and camp in this mega fully-fitted expedition wagon with a roof tent for the week experiencing outdoor cooking, outdoor showering, wild camping / nature park ups and we'll also give you a full tour of the set up!

You guys are the reason I went on a (solo) trip to France -Normandy. Rule your own world is been a great motto. Since then I’ve been to Croatia and this May I plan to go on a 6 week long trip through Italy. With my lovely dog, in the Hymer Camper that belonged to my grandparents.. which is way to big for solo traveling and most of my parked neighbors are 65+ so they look at me like wtf are u doing in that thing ( I just turned 30 haha)♥️ lots of love from the Netherlands

Some days I don’t feel myself and sometimes in such a weird place but you guy’s honestly make me feel so much better. Too hear about your struggles with anxiety and mental health gives me such hope and I hope one day I can be honest and open about it ❤

I’ve been following you two since 2020 lockdown when I binged all your previous you tube years. I’m a 66 yr old camper who is off to Wales alone this summer to explore more. I live in Scotland but you two give me a inspiration, thank you
Yes Amie we have been inspired to get out there, we are older with a disabled son so we ended up buying a motorhome or as you call them a washing machine or was it fridge lol anyway we have seen more of our homeland in the last 2 years than the previous 55 so we thank you !!

The monkeys remind me of being in the UK as a kid at a drive through type zoo where the monkeys ripped a soft top car in front of us to shreds. The soft tent with monkeys seems like a sketchy combo to me 😂.

Yes lads, glad you got the map on the go. We felt the exact same in Kiyotsu gorge, that music creeped us out big time 🤣🤣That fox place looked like it would hurt my heart to witness, looks great in photos but in reality it seems brutal ❤️🩹 That vegan cheese is the 💣 we literally rolled it into little cheese balls as a snack. Looking forward to next week 🇯🇵💪
Apples, blueberries, raspberries, mango on my Italian salad, yum...and since I can't have lettuce I use cabbage. Experiment the flavors are wonderful. Mix it up!!❤😊

Japan has so much culture to share. I love the way they do the tourist stuff like the Capybaras and tunnel stuff. That was some magic right there.
Sailing La Vagabonde a few weeks the hubby got bit by one very agressive monkeys and now he has to take some nasty rabid shots. I put honey crisp apples in my salad. Really appreciate the TIME you take to create those drone videos you insert in your videos. Photographer and I love taking pictures of shadows at the end of video that dancing with the shadows included in the tunnel was on another level
we did see - looked brutal! Lucky we had the veg club to hand 😂

What a fun, beautiful and amazing adventure. Thank you for bringing us along. I was just thinking to myself the other day, "Myself, I say we have lived in the absolute best years". In my youth there was no internet and running, playing, adventuring out side was the only thing in town. Now that I'm in my 60's and having a bit of age related issues, I have all these amazing RUclips channels that I'm able to watch, see cool stuff and live vicariously through. Believe it or not... we were with our 9 months old baby at that same river just a couple of weeks ago!!! Fly fishing and swimming in frigide water. Nikko National Park is one of our favorite in Japan.
I would also recommend that you go hike Oze national Park. It is absolutely beautiful this time of the year.

You guys always get me excited to travel in places I might be too scared to visit! Before you announced you were going here, I was hoping for Japan. I would loooove to visit but get scared of how different it is and that I wouldn't be able to navigate maps and menus, but once again, you guys have convinced me to travel somewhere totally out of my comfort zone!

Aww those Capybaras are calling CARPINCHOS in spanish, and they are so peaceful animals, in Argentina there is a neighborhood called Nordelta where people lives with a lot of capybaras around

When you bring Custand to North America, would you consider coming to Lancaster Pennsylvania? I’d love for you to see the Amish. And I think a PA Quaker wedding would be perfect for you guys - there’s no officiant, you agree to be wedded to each other in front of your chosen witnesses ( however many - you could even do it live on RUclips) and the witnesses (friends, family, Kinging-It fans) sign your wedding certificate. It’s the kind of egalitarian, different but free thing I can imagine being perfect for you guys….

Have been watching your Japan videos with my 81 year old friend that is a tad oxygen deprived and dying. She can’t quite distinguish all the time what is real and what is not. It seems sometimes she thinks she’s a part of what we are watching in an interactive way? She has a giant television about half the size of the wall. A gift from her son 😜🥴✌️(boy love). Anyways!
