We have EU pet passport issued in France,dog vaccines all up to date. We have travelled to France a few times now but it will be first time for us to travel to 🇨🇭Switzerland? as we have an EU pet passport, I believe we do not need AHC. thank you very much.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. With a European pet passport you don't need any other paperwork. And there is no border control with Switzerland (unless they specifically want to check a car). Before you go back to the Uk you will need the usual tapeworm tablet with signature on your pet passport (given with min 24 hrs before entering uk and max 5 days) .hope this helps
Great video, very informative. We are off on a trip to Mostar from the UK next week, so it is good to see current prices and different routes. I prefer driving up the left hand side of Thunersee (going from Thun to Interlaken). A more scenic drive and you can also stop off at St Beatus Hohlen and have a coffee and enjoy the views across the lake.
We stopped in Germany on the way back to a vet (we spent 1 day there so just googled a local vet and got it sorted). Any vet will do as long as you can search for one open on your way back, just remember to stop and get worming treatment with min 24 hrs before entering Uk and max 5 days. Happy travels!

We are glad that you found it useful. From Paris you can drive towards Nancy to avoid a lot of toll roads. It is a longer journey but you can detour to Strasbourg for a day so win win. Or you can stop in Troyes in France, it is very beautiful. There are so many options available for your return journey, depending on how much time you want to spend for your return journey, from Switzerland it is a nice and easy drive to Germany where you have plenty of family friendly places to visit and then from Germany we love to stop in Belgium before going back to the uk. A delicious waffle in Bruges is a fantastic way to finish your journey. Check out our Baden-Württemberg video from Germany for some examples of places to see in the area for inspiration. Stopping in the area makes the journey more manageable if you decide to drive using Switzerland- Germany - Belgium route. This is a good alternative to visit multiple places on the same journey. Enjoy your holiday! Switzerland it is a gem, expensive but a great place to visit.

@@MuhammadTariqKhan-xb1zv for Switzerland you will need to purchase a vignette online valid for 12 months , see details in video you can get that from an authorised website and use it until expires. We stayed in Grindelwald village - iconic area for Switzerland and explored it for a couple of days. Hope this helps :)
