Great vid guys - we love Mull. The jetty you saw at Calgary on Mull was where the highlanders left during the highland clearances in the 1700 and 1800’s to sail to Canada.
We had a cottage in Salen, mull is a wonderful island plenty of places to go and many fantastic walks. Was great to see this video your living the dream👌

You must have gone across to Mull the day we came off in our van. We managed a park up in the forest back on the mainland and saw about 20 minutes of aurora until the clouds came over. We also had fish'n'chips from the same place in Tobermory. Similarly we that same beetle bug on our window! If you didn't go to Iona, go back again! It's a great little island.

They were old coal piers. You can find them all over the western Isles. Coal would have arrived on small steam boats called puffers. They used to carry coal along with all sorts of other cargo. Legal and illegal! 😂

Probably since I fitted them around 15k miles and still going strong I had one wear really bad on the inner edge but that was my fault cause the tracking was out after fitting new track rod ends
Great video, I was up on Skye a couple of weeks ago, did Glencoe for a few nights as well. Going back up in a couple of weeks so might try Mull. What sat nav is that you’re using and is it any good, tried looking at your links but couldn’t see anything.

I live on the west coast of Scotland and have never seen those insects. You could have avoided the Corran Ferry if you thought the fare excessive by taking the road route. The ferry doesn't make a profit - it's an expensive operation subsidised by Highland Council.
Is it friendly? You're not visiting the caves where the Morlocks live in the time machine lol I live on the coast of Ayrshire. I'm sure you'll be safe enough from the populous lol

Fish & Chips is served with salt and vinegar pretty much everywhere in Scotland apart from Edinburgh where they have salt and sauce!

It was the Corran ferry! They charged us 2 different prices so I’m not too sure, it says on their website there actual price list xx
