Love seeing people exploring up here! It’s a whole other world in the Scottish Highlands. They are horse leeches and won’t bother humans. Love that youse got in the water! The Lochs here are very cold, I do love a good loch swim 😍
Just comeback on sunday from the campsite.the pub is called the pinemartin pub and scran..ate there everyday.Green loch is a lovley walk from the campsite.
I didn't realise they had stopped breakfast. In fairness we have been in the area a number of times over the last few years and that's the first we have ever been to the Pine Marten. The youth hostel used to do food as well but I haven't looked this year.
Great video guys, I swim in the Green loch in the winter time not seen a leech once, it’s great to camp at the stars at night there are amazing, I wild camp the area a good bit mostly in the winter time when there’s no one about, keep up the great work guys. Atb Wullie ✊🏻🏴

I swam the circumference but a lot of logs and got midged when I got out, at the end of Sept! Didn't know about leaches either but they're no problem compared to ticks. I got covered with them in Thailand waterfall walking in a monsoon.

I know the area so well and you are showing it off in a sympathetic way, thanks. Loch an Eilan is delightful. It means Loch of the island. (Try saying ee-lann). If you ever come back to Strathspey I would love to show you more.
We parked in that spot on Cairngorm, stayed several nights at the campsite and cycled a loop round boat of Garten and back past An Lochan Uaine so we walked back up the next day to swim (head above water). Sand is unbelievably natural. Ski bar is Pine Marten. Kayaked on Loch Morlich. Swimming, cycling, walking kayaking paradise. It's nice now we have a van as the weather can be a challenge in a tent!
Just watched all your Spain videos. Awesome. Enjoyed them. I want to do the same when I finished building the bigger camper. My vw isn’t big enough for that one. It’s been to Scotland a few times though 😊

Went on a school trip to Youth Hostel to loch not lock , please! Morlich,,,try that ! I was 15 and now 65… Hagrid lived on Loch Lomond…. Ps the water was well cold.
