A truly incredible experience, one that will stay in our hearts for a lifetime! Would you go into the forest!?.. It's pretty terrifying we'll admit 😆 Let us know what's on YOUR bucket list?
YES! I wouldn’t allow an opportunity like that pass by! What an absolute honour to be in their presence ! Just watching this makes me tear up! Just added to my bucket list! 🦍
❤❤ oh Aimee you’re so sweet. All heart but please blow on your soup 🍜 Craig you are ❤brave.. I would have poop 💩 if a gorilla 🦍 walk by me. I❤this adventure
As founder of Sahaya International and cofounder of the Rafiki organization, thank you for having stayed at our Sahaya Rafiki Guesthouse! I am glad you had a great experience in Uganda and hopefully this is the first visit of many more to come in the future. 🙂
“Just believe you can, and you’re halfway there” Trev made me cry when she dedicated this video to those of us too sick to leave the house or travel. I love you guys and your videos so much! Feel like i’m traveling with my best friends when I watch your videos. 💛
'Just believe you can and you're halfway there' my new motto :) also, the fact that they carried that lady who was in a wheelchair into the forest to see the gorillas, how brilliant :')
I’m an African expat living the USA, when people ask about Africa, my first response is “you have to set foot in Africa before you leave this planet!”. Thanks for all the learns and laughs!
Trev you're so authentic with your anxiety, and that helps me immensely with mine. I have extremely bad PTSD and the fact that you're so honest about your anxiety and thoughtful about it helps me with mine. I know being raw and vulnerable is not easy, but thank you. You have no idea how much that helps others that suffer from extreme anxiety as well. You inspire me, and other than the fact I love watching both of you together (you're both perfect for each other and I love watching that), I keep coming back to watch your innocent honesty about it.
Aw Jess, sorry to hear about your anxiety too - it happens to the coolest people 😆 Thanks so much for such a kind comment. This trip to Africa has tested my body and my anxiety lots, so i'm absolutely shattered now but i'm more happy about the experience and memories i have to take away 🥰
@@kingingit I'm so glad you did it though! I've been dreaming about hooking up with my cousin in South Africa for a safari as well. To her, it's just another day, but to me, it would be a dream come true! I'm so glad you got to experience that. Definitely a dream come true, and no amount of anxiety can stop that. 💯💜✌️
Not sure if its the full moon or life, or seeing the Gorilla's and your reaction to it but I just burst out crying. I went to Uganda and did the same tour years ago...and I know that feeling of being in absolute awe of these beautiful creatures. I also got a key ring, and a mask that proudly sits on my wall at home to this day that was bought by the light of two nokia mobile phone (they didnt have power after dark) after half a bottle of wine in anticipation of the 'big walk' in the morning. Very happy memories recalled back watching this. I would encourage everyone to visit Uganda. The people were so friendly and open, and being able to support the conservation of these magnificent animals for the future generations was humbling. xx.
I have chronic pain and back issues. I can’t walk for more than a couple of minutes without my back giving out. So, I also watch you for vicarious adventures. When you said you dedicated the video to people like us, I burst into tears. Thank you both so much for taking us along on so many once in a lifetime journeys! Love to you both!
@@cyndeeh I thought I was possibly being overly-sensitive at first. Then I realized we are often just an afterthought in most cases…if at all. Hugs to you.
I suffer anxiety, panic attacks and depression Aimee and I thank you for all these great vlogs and travels that you do, for the likes of us who are too anxious to travel
I empathize with Sandra! I have severe autoimmune diseases that have caused disability. I can travel a bit with my Service Dog, but because of needing frequent infusions, and the anxiety I struggle with, I would never get to see things like this- I really appreciate all the thoughtful work Craig and Aimee put into these videos- they make me feel like I have had the chance to experience Africa a bit- it’s WAY better than binge watching nature documentaries!!!
Amiee is such a beautiful soul. Her dedicating this video to us all who just haven’t broken through that “wall” yet, made me cry. And Craig…. the love and compassion he shows towards Amiee …. all I can say is, no wonder she loves him so much. ❤️❤️

Uganda!!! I was so excited to see you were visiting my home as a child! My parents worked in the West Nile District of Uganda and my heart. We lived there for over 18 years. My heart is always in Africa. The sounds, smells, sights and whole experience is always with me. Even 50 years after leaving and living in the USA, Africa has left it's imprint deeply in my heart. Do you think the gorillas ever get tired of “tour groups” coming through? They are so magestic but like us also need their space. What an Amazing trip! Thank you for sharing.I hope Africa remains like this and never becomes a tourist attraction.
Each family of gorillas only gets one visit a day and only for one hour. They are very strict about it. Without the money that tourist gorilla trekking permits provide, they would probably already be extinct. (Mountain gorillas cannot live in captivity.)
Good question, all the gorilla families here in Uganda get visited once a day only in the morning and early afternoon, they are actually habituated before tourists start visiting them, win-win for tourists and conservation efforts.
Sobbing! I suffer with chronic depression and anxiety/panic attack disorder and have issues with large crowds so I understand where you’re coming from Aimee! Hard to comprehend the level of greed & inhumanity involved in those that have persecuted these peaceful & noble creatures. Lovely to see the level of protection & love that these people you met have for the gorillas. Great video guys

I sponsor a child in Uganda, but because of a chronic illness it is unlikely I will ever make it there. Thank you for letting me see a little more of my Godson’s country ❤
Oh, my! I was so happy when I realized you were in Uganda, one of my favorite places on earth. You did a wonderful job of portraying it. The people there really are so warm and friendly. Uganda is a poor country that often gets skipped over when people visit Africa, but I think they miss the very best it has to offer. I’m not able to travel much, anymore, but if I could Uganda would be at the top of my list. Thank you, Craig and Aimee, for allowing me, in a small way, to revisit. You made my day! I was in Bwindi last summer and got to see a gorilla family super up close too ... absolutely phenomenal experience that I will never forget. I'm thrilled that you were able to have a similarly incredible experience and also that you're bringing awareness to the amazing job Uganda is doing with gorilla conservation!❤🦍
Thank you for taking me on this amazing adventure with you. It's so wonderful to see all these animals being protected and living in their nature environments. I'm obsessed with watching gorillas. I've no doubt they can be extremely dangerous, but the way they get on with each other, their unique personalities and love of their young is so wholesome to observe.
EPIC! I 😢 when u mentioned a lady (wheelchair) was transported to see gorillas. Being someone who has had many physical struggles…I have often wished people might keep in mind those with disabilities who can’t walk to see nature’s beauty such as Africa or mountains, waterfalls, etc. THANKS FOR THE TRIP! From 🇨🇦 ❤
Aimee, first the experience itself had me in tears then your dedicating this video to us sent me over the edge. You both are such good people, thank you for sharing your life with us all. 💖 What an incredible adventure.
OH MY GODDESS!! You two always have fun and amazing videos, but THIS one....the dancing, that artist! wow, I hope you bought one of his drawings, the elephants, but the best part...the silverbacks, THANK YOU for taking me! I am almost 73 with very limited funds, so it's not in the cards for me to be with them. My heart to you for letting me see them with you.
We did the gorilla tour and the Nile boat tour. We also stayed at a Rhino Sanctuary! I danced with that tribe and it was so much fun. We also stayed at that Queen Elizabeth National Park and listened to the hippos eating outside our room! What an adventure!!! Our nephew lived there at the time so he was our main tour guide and then he would book excursions.
What an epic experience! My heart was pounding for you both. And you smashed it, Aimee! Well done and keep pushing those comfort zones, you've got it. ❤
HEAT! BUGS! DUST! LACK OF HOT WATER!!???? Even at my age I would face these challenges to go see the gorillas ❤️! I would cry…just because it would be a dream come true!!! CONGRATULATIONS on a BEAUTIFUL TRIP!! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES !
Wonderful to share another adventure with you! Your enthusiasm is infectious and I admire you SO much Aimee for pushing through the anxiety to do all these amazing things. ❤
Thanks for mentioning the disabled people. I call myself walking challenged I have osteoarthritis in my knees making it hard to walk far. Thanks for showing me interesting places that I probably will never go.
I’m a fairly jaded 35+ year feature film AD, and usually spend 7-8 months a year on the road. The great thing about making movies (vs commercials) is that I get to go to that place, whether it’s Cincinnati or Luxembourg for 3-4 months at a time and really get to absorb local culture. For a career, that part is a gift. As for you two, I discovered you during lockdown 2020, and have loved seeing your camera work, editing, music cues, and overall production values grow exponentially. Really. I’m a harsh critic of filmed things, but I always smile watching your vids, so the visceral reaction is working. Well done ❤
Fantastic filming, it felt totally immersive. You can feel the high vibes coming from the people of Uganda 🇺🇬 and yourselves Craig & Aimee 🏴. Seeing the animals, and to be so close to them was amazing and so brave. Well done to Aimee for not letting anxiety rule your world!
My god guys what a freakin wonderful opportunity!!!!! A couple of years ago could you ever have envisaged doing something like that?!? So jel but you both deserve it. Love from Ireland 💚
I have several autoimmune issues that leave me disabled. Normally I don't let it stop my travel and daily adventures no matter how big or small. However the medication for stuff like Lupus leaves me very immunocompromised. So no matter how much I want to go to places like Uganda it just isn't safe for me. So thank you Craig and Amy for helping me see places I'll only ever be able to dream about. 💜
Did I hear a Lion in the background at 26:05? What an amazing experience. I will never get a chance in my life time to get to Africa. Thank you for sharing with us.
Wow, this looked like such an awesome experience - you guys are so lucky. I think I would have cried at seeing the gorillas as well. I also get travel anxiety like Aimee, and I also think part of it is the body knowing it’s going to be put through an exhausting day. That’s why it’s so important to take plenty of rest between your trips. Take care, and I’ll be glued to wherever you go next!
OMG ! Guys this is incredible ! I’m seriously considering doing this for my 30th next year. I’m looooving your African series SO much and it’s made Gav and I realise just how much of home we took for granted. Thank you for sharing such a lush experience !
At 68, I trekked for gorillas in Rwanda last Sept. The most magical experience of my life. Thrilled you both enjoyed. And a new subscriber to your awesome channel!
Amy & Craig your love and understanding for each other is pure joy to watch. THANK YOU for sharing your true selves and all the adventures with us. After watching I always feel like your a BFF and it puts a huge smile on my face.
Awesome shots and vibe in the video! I did the Uganda trip trekking gorillas in Bwindi and Mgahinga, after chimp trekking in Kibale. Such an amazing and humiliating experience. Beautiful animals. And they are our cousins:)
As someone who lives vicariously through your travels and experiences, thank you for taking a moment to talk to us from the heart, Aimee. There are so many of us that suffer on a daily basis from the very thing she mentioned, and it means the world that you dedicated this video to us. Sending much love and safe travels to you and Craig. 💛 from Michigan 🇺🇸
We appreciate you guys for trekking the mountain gorillas in Uganda and despite the considerable limitations, mountain gorilla conservation through the tourism model has largely been successful. we really grateful guys and we shall reach their slowly by slowly. much love from Uganda
We went to Rwanda a few years ago and had were so lucky to see the gorillas - a silverback walked right past us within inches. and mom and her two babies dropped out of a tree right in front of us - an incredible unforgettable experience!!
So Beautiful...these Gorillas are Unbelievable...I don't think I will ever get to Africa or go on any African excursions in this lifetime..so Thank You for letting us all live vicariously through your adventures!!! Gratefully appreciative!!! xo
I have suffered from anxiety for years. Travelling is a big issue for me so yes seeing you guys do all the things you do is amazing and motivates me to keep trying. Thank you.
Bless your hearts, you got hustled by that toilet flushing experiment hahaha! It's all good, I had to google if it were true and I'm an engineer with 12 years... I believed the little experiment for a second hahhaa i thought, wait that can't be true. Anyway, it looked fun and you made that man's day. Love your videos!!
You are loving this for me. What an experience. I am disabled and would need a wheelchair but there is nobody brave enough to haul my bulk into the forest! Thank you xx
During my trip to Madagascar, we went to the national park, and there were different species of lemurs in the wild. Seeing them and hearing their noises made me cry and yes I was crying and crying. The trip was emotional. Never hold your emotions!
Aimee, this one definitely made me cry for many reasons. I’ve had chronic pain and disability since I was 12. Your honestly in how you truly felt to go on the gorilla adventure was so refreshing to see; and brave for you to show us. I really love watching all of your adventures because I can’t get there myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your disability/mental health/chronic illness inclusion in this video! You are absolutely the best and so appreciated! 🙏🏻
I’m from South Africa but live in England and i came across your videos a little while ago and you’re now my favourite channel! Your videos are so well made with a great combination of humour and education. Really well done on creating such lovely content for everyone to enjoy🌻 I’m so glad you’re having fun in Africa 🌍
Thanks so much for your channel and your travels. I am 70 and have broken my back in my 60’s so I no longer move with ease. I now enjoy your travelogues instead of my own. Your joy for life and the way you embrace your surroundings is what I find so endearing. Happy trails! Best gorilla experience .
17:41 started crying when you dedicated the video to anyone who can’t travel for mental or physical reasons. Thank you so much for bringing your adventures to us ❤️ THANK YOU.
❤❤❤ Ahh... Kinging It, one word, BRAVE! Y'all crushed it out there in the wilderness WOW. My bucket list is to see Petra, my oh my an incredible place. I know I'll never go (my age and so on) but id love to see it through your eyes Aimee & Craig, maybe i can vicariously live it through you both. Yep, that's my actual bucket list now Aimee, so here's to you both 🥂 making it to PETRA. Aimee, I so...admire your strength, how you push through those panic attacks, that really shows it can be done & you "can" live your life to the fullest in almost every situation you come across. Thanks and may God bless you both 🐘🦛🦍🦒🐃🐊❤❤❤
This entire video was simply AMAZING!! I would LOVE to do this and was thinking to myself that even if I had the money I wouldn't be physically able to go on a long trek looking for gorillas. It's SO cool that they accommodate you even if you're unable to physically do it! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful video! I'm one of the ones living vicariously through you!
Awe, ya'll made me cry this time. I still remember coming round a bend and being so close to a black rhino sitting in the shade of a tree in South Africa. Wildlife in the wild is amazing.
I want to thank you for the shout out to those of us unable to travel. I have stage four breast cancer and am unable to walk or travel. I look forward every week to your travels. You make me feel like I’m right there beside you. Keep traveling and I’ll keep watching for as long as I have. 💙💕💙

Hi, Aimee and Craig. Thank you for taking us on this African adventure. It’s so beautiful❤️❤️ 0:00
Lovely video!! But you do know that the water spinning is fake right?
OH MY GODDESS!! You two always have fun and amazing videos, but THIS one....the dancing, that artist! wow, I hope you bought one of his drawings, the elephants, but the best part...the silverbacks, THANK YOU for taking me! I am almost 73 with very limited funds, so it's not in the cards for me to be with them. My heart to you for letting me see them with you.
I love your tender heart Amiee. Thank you for sharing it.
🥰🥰
We did the gorilla tour and the Nile boat tour. We also stayed at a Rhino Sanctuary! I danced with that tribe and it was so much fun. We also stayed at that Queen Elizabeth National Park and listened to the hippos eating outside our room! What an adventure!!! Our nephew lived there at the time so he was our main tour guide and then he would book excursions.
What an epic experience! My heart was pounding for you both. And you smashed it, Aimee! Well done and keep pushing those comfort zones, you've got it. ❤
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
HEAT! BUGS!
Well done ❤
I cried seeing those beautiful Gorrillas and Elephants😭😭😭 AMAZING! Thank you so much Craig and Aimee for sharing this with us🫶🙏👏🐗🐂🐃🦬🐘🦛🦍🦦
Fantastic filming, it felt totally immersive.
Love from Ireland 💚
it's been a wish of ours for a looong time.. so glad we got the chance 🥰
The last part about believing you can Made me cry as a wheelchair user I never dreamt this would be accessible ❤
Weekends are my favorite because that’s when my favorite RUclipsrs post new videos
Did I hear a Lion in the background at 26:05? What an amazing experience. I will never get a chance in my life time to get to Africa. Thank you for sharing with us.
Wow!!!!
Just wow!!!!
I can't believe how close you got to the gorillas!
Aww welcome on board - thanks so much for watching 🥰❤️
I’m 66 you give me a hope I can still travel. Road Scholars (formerly Elderhostel) looks good to me.
Amy & Craig your love and understanding for each other is pure joy to watch. THANK YOU for sharing your true selves and all the adventures with us. After watching I always feel like your a BFF and it puts a huge smile on my face.
Aw guys, I smiled all the way through this adventure. How utterly amazing! 😁
You are never too old to learn new things. Tapping into my love of Koko and Dian Fossey for this one. What an adventure! You are awesome advocates!

You guys are far and away the BEST travel channel on RUclips. Well done!
I have suffered from anxiety for years. Travelling is a big issue for me so yes seeing you guys do all the things you do is amazing and motivates me to keep trying. Thank you.
My God Aimee, I just love you! Your so quirky and humorous. Get your donuts girl! 😊 oh yes, I cried when you guys saw the gorillas. Sweet!
Could not stop my tears as you watched the gorillas, so special….
How amazing! After spending 3 years on and off exploring Africa, I never saw the beautiful gorillas. I have now lived through you… Thank you 🙏
Bless your hearts, you got hustled by that toilet flushing experiment hahaha!
Thank you ,I'm currently in hospital recovering from a stroke/ love your videos
During my trip to Madagascar, we went to the national park, and there were different species of lemurs in the wild. Seeing them and hearing their noises made me cry and yes I was crying and crying. The trip was emotional. Never hold your emotions!
That is wonderful! Them helping people with disabilities see the gorillas!
I bloody love this channel 🥰😍
Thanks and may God bless you both 🐘🦛🦍🦒🐃🐊❤❤❤
Thank you guys for taking us with you, elephants are my favourites, what lovely people there., all the best to you both. X💕✌️🫠🌷🌹🌺❤️
All you travel youtubers help me through my severe leg injury that stops me from travelling the way I'd like to. I laugh and cry with you wonderful people wherever you go! I'm so grateful for you all!! 🥰 Love you guys! Take care!!
Dedicating the video to people who can’t travel made me cry.Thank you ❤❤

This is now added to my bucket list. An incredible adventure.
Absolutely amazing!
Thank you.
I went to Uganda in the very beginning of 2020, but I was in the northern part of the country. I'd love to go back and visit the rest of the country and to see some gorgeous gorillas! Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
Thanks for being so kind. Making us all feel included. You 2 are just the best. 😢
Omg I cried a few times, is was so beautiful to see you with all the animals.
Aww, the video made me cry then the comments made me full out bawl. Craig's the big strong tree and Aimee, you're the butterfly that flits around it! Pure grace you two! Konchos and all!
People in Africa are so beautiful and kind ❤And the way the man who presented your certificate said your name: Ahmee 🥰 Soooooo cute
Pants fix (if it’s a button closure) loop a rubber band or string around the button. Pass it through the button hole. Adjust until comfortable (may need to try different size rubber bands) and secure to button.
This video gave me tears of pure JOY. It made me want to go back and dance with my new friends, take photos of new and never seen (to me) animals, and ride in the bumpiest van EVER!! Look out Kenya…I’m coming back. ❤😊
Love, love, love!!! What an amazing adventure!! Thank you for sharing!! ❤❤❤
